A Pleasant Stay at a Brand-New Hanting Hotel in Beijing.
I recently stayed at this Hanting Hotel in Beijing during a winter trip in December 2025, and it turned out to be a great budget-friendly choice. As a brand-new property (opened right around this time), everything felt fresh and modern, which made the experience stand out compared to older chain hotels.
The staff are friendly and pro-active to help considering my limited chinese. I give them 5 out 5 stars because thats is the same service level i get when i am in 5 star hotel.
Location:
The hotel is conveniently situated just outside a residential complex, literally a one-minute walk to the main street. It’s quiet yet accessible perfect for avoiding the hustle of central Beijing while still being close to amenities, shops, and transport options. No complaints here; it struck a nice balance between peace and convenience.
Facilities and Design:
The lobby is cozy and appropriately sized—not too grand, but welcoming. What surprised me pleasantly was how large the hotel actually is once you explore it. The overall design theme is warm and relaxing, with soothing tones and modern touches that create a calming atmosphere throughout.
Room Experience:
For the price point, the room was impressively spacious. It was sparkling clean (as expected from a new hotel), with a large, comfy bed topped with four plush pillow, perfect for a good night’s rest. There’s a big TV, and the bathroom is a decent size with a spacious shower and toilet.
Winter in Beijing can be brutal, but the heater worked wonderfully, keeping the room toasty and comfortable. The real highlight was the smart features: voice commands control everything, lights, curtains, TV, and other appliances. It felt futuristic and super convenient!
The One Drawback:
The only downside I encountered was a lingering smoke smell in the corridor near the elevators on the second night. Apparently, a guest had smoked while walking to his room, and while the staff responded quickly by spraying air freshener, the ventilation system didn’t fully clear it out.
I understand that smoking tolerance can be more lenient in some places in China (even in restaurants), but for a brand-new hotel in the capital, I hoped they’d enforce stricter no-smoking policies to set a better standard. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it was noticeable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this Hanting Hotel exceeded my expectations for a budget chain, clean, modern, comfortable, and packed with thoughtful features like voice control and solid service from all the staffs. It’s a solid option for travelers wanting value without sacrificing quality. I’d stay again and recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something new and relaxing in Beijing.
Just hope they tighten up on the smoking rules moving forward!

NadineStaThis hotel was very convinient for us. Its directly at a metro Station that connects the city with the airport. Therefore we were quickly there, sadly most of Bejings Metro Station dont have Elevator or escalator so it was a bit of the struggele but still convenienct location. We started a trip with Mubus to Great Wall, meeting point was very close 3 Minute walk. Metro also 3 minutes walk. Hotel room big enough and clean. For non chinese speaker the Air Con at least in our room was a struggel since it was speak activated. The cleaning lady was very helpful and started it for is. We ask the man at the reception to speak us an audio message so that we could stop it. This should be opimised since the hotel welcomes foreigners. Loved the Option to recieve Packages over this hotel since my friend ordered stuff from Taobao for me and send it to the hotel even days before i arived, much appriciated.

M-x.I stayed at this hotel twice, once when I landed in Beijing at the beginning of the month, and again when I flew to New York from Beijing at the end of the month. I used their pick-up and drop-off service, which was very easy to book and communicate with. The car was spacious enough to fit multiple large suitcases. The room itself was clean and tidy, with good hot water and air conditioning, and all the facilities were well-maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The only downside was the strong smell of smoke in the hallway. I hope the hotel can enforce stricter regulations against smoking in public areas like the lobby and inside the hotel. All in all, it's a great value-for-money option!
Regarding the continuous stay perks:
Breakfast: The hotel breakfast wasn't extremely varied, but it was still good and could satisfy most people's needs.
Guaranteed late check-out until 3 PM: This was very helpful, and I was also able to store my large luggage at the front desk. The service was excellent.

Facilities: I personally think they deserve a big thumbs up! This hotel is quite spacious for Beijing, and I was very satisfied that the bathroom, toilet, and sink area are all separated. Plus, the tissue quality is good.
Hygiene: It's alright. I'm not super particular, so I didn't inspect it too closely.
Environment: It's about 1.1km from the subway station. From there, walking towards Beixinqiao subway station means you can conveniently visit Lama Temple, Guozijian, Shichahai, and Ditan Park along the way (we're big walkers!). There's a large shopping mall about 800m away. Many highly-rated restaurants are also nearby, within 1-1.5km. The hotel is right by a main avenue, so getting a taxi is very convenient.
It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to get to/from Daxing Airport by subway (with transfers). If you take a taxi, due to the hotel being on what I believe is the Second Ring Road, traffic is horrendous. It took 2 hours to get from Daxing Airport to the hotel by taxi around 3:20 PM. Another time, it took 77 minutes to get back to the hotel from near Ju Bao Yuan in Qianmen (7.8km) by taxi at 2:30 PM. I truly experienced Beijing's notorious traffic jams! Most popular delivery services are available here.
Service: Excellent! First, food delivery is handled by robots. The hotel also offers free ice cream, and the tissues are of good quality.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Hepingmen subway station, making it super convenient to get to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and all the facilities were well-equipped with good soundproofing. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were quick, and they even proactively offered travel advice. The hygiene was perfect. My friends and I had a wonderfully comfortable stay. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing!

Guest UserWe stayed at the hotel for 4 days in May and we booked a queen size bed room with no window. The first day we saw a huge cockroach in the room, we were highly disappointed. But the receptionist was very kind and offered us a king size bed room with a window with no extra charge! It was awesome! After that they apologized again and even gave us gifts, so I am satisfied now.
I have to warn you: the hotel does not have a lobby or a dining room, the ”breakfast” tgat is included in the price looks just like on the first picture. It's just a bun, soy milk and an egg.
Other than that, our experience was fine. A solid 4 for this price in Beijing.

I have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.

AmulizeyuancanFacilities: There's a bed, a TV, a bathroom, and a window that opens to a trash chute (definitely don't open it, people throw all sorts of garbage down there).
Hygiene: It's cleaned daily, and even though the room is old, I really appreciate how clean the staff keeps it.
Environment: The room is old, enclosed, and gets stuffy and hot without the air conditioning on. Rooms with 'A' in the name don't even have real windows (just fake ones 🤭).
Summary: The location of this place is excellent – 100 meters to the subway entrance and 200 meters to the West Gate of the Temple of Heaven. It's super convenient for getting around. If comfort is a priority, I recommend their non-'A' rooms, but they are generally over 100 RMB more expensive. The biggest advantages here are the location and the reasonable price. Aside from these two points, you'll have to put up with everything else.
