Guest UserMy stay at the Waldorf Astoria New York was exceptional in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service felt thoughtful, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive without being intrusive, creating a sense of ease throughout my stay.
The Deluxe Room was beautifully appointed—quiet, immaculate, and designed with a timeless elegance that reflects the hotel’s historic character. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room layout made it easy to relax and unwind after a long day.
The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. Common areas are stunningly restored, blending classic New York grandeur with modern comfort. Everything—from the lobby to the elevators—felt meticulously maintained.
The location is unbeatable. Being in the heart of Midtown made it effortless to get to meetings, restaurants, and landmarks. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the city’s energy.
Overall, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria to anyone seeking a luxurious and well‑run hotel in New York.

The hotel corridor facilities are still a bit old, the interior decoration of the room is still good, the view is almost non-existent

Guest UserThe room was nice, with a view over the buildings in the back of the hotel. Location is good, around the corner from the local (stops at every stop) subway line 6. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Also shops, including Trader Joe's on 32nd Street and 3rd Ave and Whole Foods at 28th and Madison. As I read in other reviews, a 15-minute walk from Penn Station, 10-minute walk to Grand Central Station, and 20-minute walk to the 34th street ferry stop on the East River.

A lovely hotel and nice to rooms, I did feel a bit let down though with some of their functions on at the time.
A very noisy pool party and cocktail function which clearly was to accommodate a certain age range.
It would of been nice to be aware of such functions before we actually turned up. I could see that most of the people staying at the hotel were of my similar age and weren't overly comfortable either with noisy, loud individuals dotted all over.
This was especially concerning since guests have to sign a waiver to abide by noise rules etc....but it appeared none of these were followed for people associated with the event.
Shame really as the hotel itself and location was great.
Appreciation for all guests seemed a bit lacking.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a large king suite complete with balcony and stunning view of NYC over the East River. We had an excellent room service breakfast the following morning. Would def recommend and return again one day!

Nulek NulekI read the reviews before choosing this hotel and was actually surprised that it had such good reviews even though the room size is relatively small. Now I understand why. The room is clean, everything looks new, and the hotel is very well maintained, so the overall feeling is comfortable and pleasant despite the smaller size.
I also like that they have rooms with bathtubs. Breakfast is good enough, with scrambled eggs, yummy sausages, and oatmeal. The downside is that the shuttle runs only until midnight, and the in-room amenities are quite limited.
I would choose Fairfield again if I need to stop by JFK.

The breakfast selection was fantastic, featuring congee, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, salmon, cheese, various yogurts, and even dumplings. Of all the hotels in New York, this one likely caters best to Chinese tastes. I was particularly pleased to be able to enjoy two bowls of congee for breakfast. Plus, the room was very clean.

We recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of New York City, and it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the 9/11 Memorial and Battery Park, where we easily caught the ferry to the Statue of Liberty.
The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, which was a great start to our days of exploring. Our room was spacious and comfortably accommodated three people without any issues. It was well-maintained and provided all the amenities we needed.
One of the standout features was the $25 voucher provided daily for the minibar, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Additionally, the area around the hotel had plenty of shops, making it convenient to pick up anything we needed or enjoy some shopping.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in downtown New York with easy access to major landmarks and excellent amenities.

4 nights stay at Sixty LES, in an ADA King room.
The hotel is clean, easily accessible within walking distance from public transportation. The location is good, closed to many restaurants and famous institutions like Katz. The room is big, clean with bed comfortable and good shower place. Amenities includes an in room safe, ironing board and iron, coffee maker and mini fridge.
The front desk, and the staff in general are quite helpful and very professional and polite.
The only drawback is that the room can be a bit dark at night and also the noise from the bar on 7th floor can be particularly loud until late in the morning (3am)
