The Rockaway Hotel

Excellent value for money with a charming design. The staff are super helpful. Rooms are reasonably large and clean, and the restaurant on the first floor is remarkable. Highly recommend for families

Probably better to book directly with Hotel. State of emergency and no one could help with adjusting our day. It is a nice place, the service is great. However during checkout I noticed added charges, that I am waiting getting fixed.

A lovely hotel and nice to rooms, I did feel a bit let down though with some of their functions on at the time. A very noisy pool party and cocktail function which clearly was to accommodate a certain age range. It would of been nice to be aware of such functions before we actually turned up. I could see that most of the people staying at the hotel were of my similar age and weren't overly comfortable either with noisy, loud individuals dotted all over. This was especially concerning since guests have to sign a waiver to abide by noise rules etc....but it appeared none of these were followed for people associated with the event. Shame really as the hotel itself and location was great. Appreciation for all guests seemed a bit lacking.

I've been there for the pool but not to stay, I love the beachy look of the hotel and rooms. I loved the rose` given upon arrival, I love the rooftop and pool. Overall everything was great the staff was great the parking was great.

Ac wasn’t working and there’s a lot of hidden fees with everything but overall the food was good and staff was great nice place

Nice amenities. We came during the St Pattys parade so reaching the hotel was a bit complicated - wish we would have gotten the heads up but the staff was v helpful. The hotel was definitely louder / busier. I would reconsider going off season since the rooms are pretty small with no fridge available and the amenities are limited. The good thing is there is Walgreens nearby so if you want to pick some stuff up then it’s convenient.

The staff was great and my spa experience was amazing. I was disappointed in the layout of the hotel. Some of the services offered were not in the actual hotel, you had to go across the street or down the block. The spa was located past the front doors which made me uncomfortable walking around in a robe while the restaurant next to the front door is open to the public. My tv services in the room were not functioning and another guests info was present on my bedroom tv. My info was available to that guest in their room. The issue on transferred info was fixed after a few hours. The food was great and I enjoyed the taste of the drinks at the bar even though they contained very little alcohol.
