During our stay, both Butler Kim and Butler Hani were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They made everything feel easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Kim, in particular, truly stood out. She was cheerful, warm, and very thoughtful, and even took the initiative to help my husband and me take beautiful photos, which meant so much to us. Her genuine care and positive energy made our experience feel personal rather than routine.

A Tranquil Escape Steeped in Heritage
If you're looking for an unforgettable blend of cultural richness and refined luxury, Bab Samhan in Diriyah is simply exceptional. Nestled in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s historic Diriyah district, this Luxury Collection Hotel captures the soul of Najdi tradition with world-class hospitality.
From the stunning mud-brick architecture to the serene courtyards and curated Saudi interiors, every corner of the property tells a story. The service is warm and intuitive — genuinely some of the best I’ve experienced. The rooms are peaceful sanctuaries, and the dining experience celebrates local flavors with elegance and creativity.
Bab Samhan is more than just a hotel — it's a cultural experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authenticity, comfort, and a deep sense of place.

Guest UserI stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. It is conveniently located next to the major subway station so I could travel within town without being stuck in infamous traffic. I had a suite and it was tastefully decorated and had all the modern levels of comfort, including the smart light system and a stand alone tub. Since it was my birthday, I also was given a very delicious complementary cake to celebrate this occasion, along with a basket of fruits and Arabic coffee.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
P.S. One note - I wish they had a concierge because none of the reception employees knew anything about the celebration of the Founding Day, not even the fact that the roads to the hotel were blocked by the police and it took extra 30 mins for the taxi driver to go around.

We arrived in the early morning to check in. The front desk staff was very responsible. The next day we had to go to the airport to catch a flight after watching a football game, and time was very tight. The hotel concierge, Concierge bellman Ibrahim, gave us a lot of help, allowing us to watch the game without worry and take the hotel car to the airport. Thank you very much, Concierge bellman Ibrahim.

The hotel is great in every sense of the word, but their problem is that they don’t have shaded parking spaces, and the elevator goes directly to the rooms. This is their only flaw.

Julie&han2025The hotel is new and the environment is great! However, the service was just average. I had to call five times to get cutlery delivered to my room, and it only arrived two hours later. The front desk phone (00966114459500, then press 2 as prompted) was unreachable for two days straight when I had an urgent matter. It would just ring and then automatically hang up.

Guest UserI visited during the off-season, so the room rate was quite reasonable. The room itself was spacious, and being street-facing, it offered a bit of a view. However, the windows were quite dirty; when the sun shone in, all you could see were the dirt spots on the glass.

TONGThe hotel is located in the north of Riyadh, the new district, like the development zones of some cities in China. There will be a king's financial district and many high-rise buildings under construction in the urban area. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. But it is a bit far from the old town. The facilities of the hotel are very good, especially with a bathtub. There are no bathtubs in many international brand hotels in this desert city. The hotel's restaurant is also very good, the food and taste are very much like, the buffet has a lot of precious fruits, value for money.

I didn't realize that there are two Swiss Flora Hotels nearby so my taxi dropped me off at the wrong one, which was very frustrating for me as I was exhausted and sick. But the kind front desk agent offered me a free ride with the hotel vehicle to the correct one, which was just around the block.
The hotel was very comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious (I had their traditional Saudi stew with rice and fresh squeezed orange juice) and the service was impeccable.
The room was very comfortable with all the modern amenities as expected in any city hotel, but the room had a faint cigarette smell which I didn't like. I was too tired to change rooms, do I dealt with it.
I asked for a wake up call at 2:30am which I did receive...thankfully!
