The hotel's interior is even more striking. The simple yet stylish design of the public areas, with greenery and art pieces strategically placed to create a tranquil and elegant ambiance. The guest rooms are warm and comfortable, with soft lighting and neat decor, and every detail meticulously considered, inviting you to relax and unwind.
The most surprising experience was the hotel's breakfast, a true feast for the senses. The restaurant offers a dazzling array of delicious dishes, including freshly baked crispy bread, fragrant bacon and eggs, colorful fresh fruit, and refreshing juices. The diverse selection caters to every palate, ensuring a revitalizing start to the day.
But what truly captivated me was the ”breathing” bed. The mattress is the perfect level of firmness—not too soft to sink into, not too firm to be uncomfortable. It's truly a unique experience to stay in such a historically rich setting while enjoying modern minimalist decor, especially given its superb location in the old town's core. What particularly stood out was the hotel's pool, which directly overlooks Porto Cathedral – an absolutely unforgettable sight.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful hotel in a great location, within walking distance of most old town attractions and round the corner from a metro station making it even better!! Staff can't do enough for you and the whole place is welcoming and beautiful.
Breakfast set in lovely dining area with plenty of choice from a menu so served to you without having to wait for the toaster! Rooms are luxurious and have everything you may need, including a very comfortable bed!

GGuest Userthe hotel is very close to the train station and other sightseeing places. There's a big construction site right in front of the hotel which makes it a bit inconvenient to walk around. The hotel offered us a room which faced the courtyard, so we didn't experience any construction noise. The room was very clean and the beds are comfortable. overall it is positive experience with the hotel

This is not limited to this hotel in Portugal, but there are no slippers or toothbrushes in the room, so you need to bring your own. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in an upgraded room.

GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the airport, 15 minutes' drive away, which is convenient for overnight stays and early flights. For seafood lovers, there is a restaurant 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The food is very good, but a little expensive, but delicious!

GGuest UserThe staff is always friendly and willing to help, top grades to them! The location has plus and minus. Unless your in one of the cabs that has special permission to enter Flores street, you are going to have to haul bags from a fair distance. Once there, it’s close to many cool things by foot. The rooms are a bit dated, but hey, it’s a 500 year old building! Highly recommend visiting the garden!
