Our stay was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The rooms were excellent—very comfortable, clean, spacious, and well maintained—but what really made this hotel special was the incredible level of hospitality and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel prepared a special welcome dinner for us, and they also organized a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. They went far beyond what we normally expect from a hotel. Transportation was arranged for us to different tourist attractions, as well as to train and bus stations, making it extremely easy to explore the area. The staff also helped us plan our excursions to the different mountains nearby, giving us recommendations and making sure we were properly prepared. For our excursions, they even prepared lunch boxes with food and provided shoe covers, rain protection, umbrellas, and everything else we might need depending on the weather. These small details made a huge difference and allowed us to simply enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics. What impressed us the most was how attentive, kind, and proactive the entire staff was. They didn't just provide accommodation—they genuinely cared about making our whole trip as comfortable, easy, and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed something, they were ready to help, often anticipating what we might need before we even asked. The combination of excellent rooms, outstanding service, transportation, excursion assistance, thoughtful meals, and personal attention made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences of our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel, especially to anyone planning to explore the mountains and attractions in the area. Nestled among the mountains, this guesthouse offers a truly healing experience. It's located near Shenshui Pavilion on the slopes of Mount Emei, allowing you to sleep with the mountains and live with the breeze. My friends mentioned that on clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of the Golden Summit from the courtyard. You can walk to Shenshui Pavilion and Zhongfeng Temple, and within 10 minutes, you can enjoy a sip of fresh mountain spring water – it’s incredibly peaceful and therapeutic. The beds are comfortable, and you're embraced by the gentle mountain breeze as you lie down. The courtyard is spacious and elegant, featuring a small tea garden that adds to the interactive experience. There’s also a photogenic cafe and tea space where you can enjoy tea, take photos, or simply relax. The food is delicious, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and serene, making it perfect for family vacations or gatherings with friends. I'm already planning to bring my team here for our next team-building retreat!

A summer trip to Emei Mountain was made even better by this hot spring resort's ”Summer Adventure” experience – a perfect choice for families with kids! The moment you step into the hotel, you're captivated by its forest-like environment – ​​the windows offer panoramic views of rolling green hills, and every breath is filled with the fresh scent of nature. Just a 10-minute walk from the scenic area entrance, you can easily return to the hotel for a relaxing soak in the cool spring pools after exploring the area with your kids, offering privacy and convenience. The biggest surprise was coinciding with the ”Summer Adventure” event! Saturday's hot spring fun was a paradise for the kids: water battles with splashing water, kayaking races for the whole family, and a ”South-to-North Water Diversion” game testing teamwork – the children were soaking wet from head to toe, yet still clamoring for ”one more round!” The butler service was impeccable: they proactively contacted us during booking, sending scenic area guides via WeChat; upon check-in, they provided children's slippers and mosquito repellent patches; and upon check-out, simply leave your room key in the room – completely freeing up your hands. The room has its own private hot spring bath. My skin felt so smooth after soaking in it. The butler told me that the hot spring water is radon from 3,000 meters underground, rich in 24 kinds of minerals. Even my fatigue was washed away.

While it's an older hotel, and the rooms show a bit of age, the service was exceptional. They offered shuttle service to and from the station, and even though it was just my son and me, we didn't have to wait. After our one-night stay, we moved to another place. When we were leaving, the front desk staff kept reminding us that we could book a shuttle for our departure. For our last two nights, we weren't staying at the hotel, but when it was time to leave, I messaged the housekeeper, Xiuxiu, on WeChat to ask if we could still get a ride to the station. She said we could come to the hotel to catch the shuttle, which was very thoughtful. Yu Mei, who drove the shuttle, was also incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. It made for a truly warm and wonderful trip to Emei Mountain. The hotel lobby also had 75% alcohol, which was perfect as I had just scratched my hand with an umbrella. Plus, they offer free bicycle rentals for an hour.

A week before my stay, I received a call from our butler, Lola. We then started an ongoing conversation via WeChat, covering everything from high-speed rail station pickup to arrival time, personal preferences, and activity bookings. When she learned I was celebrating my wedding anniversary, she thoughtfully arranged room decorations, a cake, and a greeting card. This was my initial connection with Banyan Tree, brimming with anticipation and warmth. Stepping out of the high-speed rail station, I spotted a handsome young man from afar, smiling and holding a sign, with two umbrellas in hand, waiting for us. The moment I got into the car, I realized I had truly arrived at Banyan Tree. He also drove us back for our departure. Here, I'd like to express my gratitude once again to our driver, Harry. The three days at Banyan Tree flew by. Each day was spent immersed in the green mountains, clear waters, and birdsong, strolling, sitting quietly, soaking in the hot springs, and simply unwinding, enjoying a truly relaxing holiday. The hotel's hardware facilities are excellent, but what left the deepest impression on me were the staff whose names I didn't get a chance to catch: the gentle and genuine cleaning lady on the third floor, the SPA staff who guided me when I got lost in the elevator, the shyly smiling female chef who asked if I wanted a sandwich every morning at breakfast, the plump chef at the beef noodle stall, and all the employees who would nod and greet me along the way. We stayed in an older part of the hotel which was fine though a bit rundown. The hot springs were quite nice. The water was hot with a range of pools from 33° to 42°. When we first went in at 3:00 in the afternoon the pools were a bit cooler and they got hotter and hotter as the evening went on. The pools were busier after dinner than they were before dinner. The breakfast buffet had a large variety. The indoor pool was closed during our visit in early February.

I stayed here a few years ago when it was newly opened. The facilities and equipment were all very new. We were pleasantly surprised when the TV turned on and our names appeared on the screen as soon as we entered. I have a few complaints this time: 1. They didn't ask if we wanted a non-smoking floor. 2. There were hairs on the towels in the room. 3. The slippers were torn (which was unacceptable). However, the breakfast was okay and quite rich.

The luckiest thing about this trip was to book this homestay! The rooms are super warmly furnished, every corner is full of design, and the photos are taken in minutes to make a blockbuster 📸. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and I sleep until dawn. The landlord is super enthusiastic, the experience is directly full, and I will come next time! Highly recommend this treasure homestay! The location is great, there are many foods around, and it is convenient to travel. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete ～ The view of the terrace is beautiful, the wind is too pleasant at night, the price is super high, I don't want to leave after staying! The homestay completely exceeded expectations! As soon as I entered the door, I was surrounded by a warm atmosphere, smart home was super convenient, and there were cute small ornaments, full of details. The landlord is very caring, the environment is quiet and comfortable, as comfortable as in my own home, Amway has given it to friends, and it is the first choice for coming here in the future!
