Everything was amazing from start to end. Our host picked us up from the train station and took us directly to the accomodation. He waited while we got changed to quickly shuttle us to the pickup area for the bus to the Golden Summit. At the end of the day, he was waiting for us to shuttle us back to the hotel. The hotel’s location is spectacular and our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. Breakfast, likewise, was really tasty. The staff really made us feel comfortable and were available to answer questions and provide suggestions at any time. Felt like a very luxurious stay.

Choosing Lanyu Hotel for our Emei Mountain trip was absolutely the smartest decision. It’s exactly the healing, Japanese-style hotel I was looking for, distinctly different from a typical guesthouse. Our stay of several days was incredibly relaxing, and we received meticulous care. The hotel arranged a business car for all our transfers within the scenic area and even helped us organize a guide. When it rained, they provided umbrellas and even prepared ginger tea. While other hotels might simply fulfill requests, the team at Lanyu takes service to the extreme – there’s nothing they haven't thought of or can't do. Everything was excellent. Many thanks to Manager Ma, Butler Xiao Yang, and Xiao Deng. Location: Superb location, halfway up Emei Mountain, very close to Qingyin Pavilion – a true oxygen bar. Facilities: Smart toilet, hairdryer, very comfortable bathrobes. Service: Authentic breakfast, high-quality dinner, free minibar drinks, high-quality afternoon tea, and free-flow coffee – truly amazing! 👍

On September 30th, our family of four traveled to Mount Emei and chose Le Méridien based on recommendations. Upon arrival, we found that everything, from the pre-arranged pick-up/drop-off service at the high-speed rail station to the hotel's facilities, met 5-star standards. The hotel offers a rich array of activities for families, including an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and an outdoor children's playground, making it perfect for kids. Dining and beverage options are comprehensive, and breakfast is also excellent. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Huguo Temple Tourist Center in Mount Emei (the bus stop for the Leipingping bus), and bus stops for routes 5 and 12 (which go to Fuhu Temple and Huguo Temple) are right outside the entrance. During the National Day holiday, they even offered a special child-focused study and care package for 46 yuan per person, keeping kids engaged from 1 PM to 5:30 PM!

Facilities: The bathroom has underfloor heating, and there's a dehumidifier next to the bathtub in the living room, which perfectly solves any dampness issues. Service: The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and kind to the children. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, very satisfied with the bedding. Environment: The garden and pool view from the courtyard is excellent. Book Cafe: The biggest highlight is the book cafe which has picture books suitable for children; my five-and-a-half-year-old had a great time reading them. Welcome snacks: A generous combination of fruits and biscuits.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip; the kids and our dog were very happy with it, as it had a large bathtub and a small garden. Since we were leaving very early the next day, our butler, Jiqing, thoughtfully packed breakfast and provided a lot of information on sightseeing and dining options. Leshan is a treasure trove of a city; besides the Giant Buddha, there are many other fun places to visit. I would definitely choose to cycle solo for a thousand miles again next time.

The moment I stepped into the courtyard, I felt so comfortable. There were so many beautiful flowers and plants, clearly showing the owner's meticulous care. Next to the courtyard, many guests were enjoying the hot springs; I tried it myself, and after soaking, I felt warm and cozy all the way back in my room. The front desk even recommended putting on Hanfu for photos in the courtyard, and the Western Sichuan-style setting provided a fantastic atmosphere for pictures. The next day, the weather was great when we went up to Jinding, and every casual shot looked amazing. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend it!

Choosing Wyndham was a happy accident. I didn't check reviews or do any research; I simply picked it because of the room size. This was a family trip (2 adults, 2 children), and while typical hotel rooms are around 30 sqm, here they're 50-60 sqm. The spacious room meant the kids had plenty of space to play without feeling cramped. I've stayed in smaller rooms before where just opening a suitcase made it hard to move around. Upon checking in, I was pleasantly surprised. This place feels more like a family-friendly hotel. It boasts three swimming pools, with both heated and regular temperature options. There's even an LED screen by the pool showing cartoons, which is a lifesaver for parents when the kids get tired of swimming. Next, let's talk about breakfast. I'm used to pre-made pastries, but here, the waffles are freshly baked! The moment you cut into them, a rich milky aroma fills the air. They're warm but not scalding, soft and chewy – I just love freshly baked goods. I always save the best for last: a special shout-out to customer service representative Xiao Jia. After checking in, I added her on WeChat. Whether I had a question about how something worked or needed staff to come help combine beds, she always replied instantly. I almost thought I was talking to an AI, even though the front desk seemed quite busy; she must just be incredibly fast. I've rambled on, but in short, I highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and it's also very close to the Huangwan Tourist Center, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel entrance – definitely solo traveler friendly!

[Maple Bridge Inn. Garden Inn | Encountering the poetic residence in the fireworks of the world] The moment you push open the wooden door of Maple Bridge Inn, it seems as if you have fallen into a secret garden in a fairy tale. Vines climb the white walls and droop like curtains, hydrangeas and roses surround the stone path, the morning light shines through the gaps between the leaves onto the wooden bench, and even your breath is stained with the fragrance of flowers and plants. The old lady is tending to the flowers and plants in the corner of the yard. When she looks up, she gives a simple smile and a sentence ”Are you here? Are you tired on the road?”, which instantly relieves the fatigue of the traveler. Living here is more like visiting a distant relative. I was awakened by the birdsong in the morning, sat under the rose rack in the afternoon to drink tea, and listened to the boss telling the old stories of Jiazhou. The floral curtains, handmade pottery jars, and fluffy quilts in the room are full of the owner's gentle thoughts on life. Suddenly, I understood the true meaning of ”where my heart is at peace is my hometown”. If you are also looking for the friendly lights on your journey, you might as well stay here for a few days. Let the spring scenery in the garden soothe your eyes, let the warmth of human nature nourish your soul, and let the morning and evening at Fengqiao Station become the time of returning home that will always be vivid in your memory.

Words can barely describe how disappointing it was. The toilet reeked of urine, and the bathroom was filthy. The AC unit was constantly dripping water and was very noisy. The curtains offered no blackout, and the soundproofing was terrible. To make matters worse, there's no elevator, which is extremely inconvenient for elderly guests, children, and anyone with luggage. The only saving grace was the friendly and enthusiastic service from the young lady at the front desk. Without her, there would have been absolutely nothing positive about our stay.

The hotel is ideally located very close to the scenic area, boasting a beautiful environment and fresh air. The service was incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. They offered a generous amount of complimentary amenities, including station pick-up/drop-off, fresh fruit, and afternoon tea. The overall service was truly outstanding.
