"We came to Chengdu and Leshan to celebrate my husband's birthday. We chose the Hampton by Hilton in Leshan and were very satisfied. The hotel's 'Feifei' service was excellent, a pleasant surprise! The hotel offers great value for money; the price isn't expensive, but the service and facilities are excellent and very clean. The room was quiet. The breakfast had a good variety and was delicious – the best part of our trip. It's truly worth every penny, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends."

"First off, the hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get to all the main attractions and shopping areas. The room itself was much bigger than I expected! The layout was really well thought out, with a spacious lounging area, and plenty of room to fully open my luggage without feeling cramped. The decor was simple, clean, and bright, which made for a very relaxing stay. Comfort-wise, they really delivered: the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean, and there was always plenty of hot water. Plus, the room even had a bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day out. So enjoyable! Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of location, space, and comfort. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!"

"The room was absolutely fantastic! The staff, especially the young gentleman, provided incredibly warm and enthusiastic service, patiently answering all my questions. The location is superb, right next to the Leshan Giant Buddha. I booked a 270-degree Buddha-view room, and the stunning panoramic views were truly breathtaking. It's also super close to the Shangzhongshun Specialty Street. What's more, the breakfast at their cafe was unique and offered a wide variety of choices, and their 'xiao mian' (special noodles) were incredibly delicious! I'd definitely come back!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. There are also plenty of great local eateries right next door, like Yingzi's Fried Skewers and Grandma Ju's Shaved Ice, which were both exceptionally delicious. We received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in, which was a thoughtful and warm touch. The rooms are relatively new, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and our whole family slept soundly during our two-night stay. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They even kindly offered our family of three a complimentary breakfast, which was quite good. Although the hotel's parking lot was full when we arrived, and we had to park at Wanda Plaza, the hotel graciously reimbursed us for the parking fee. This gesture was truly impressive and much appreciated. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this hotel!"

"The cleanliness of Ji Hotel is always reassuring, and this hotel was no exception. The bedding was spotless and dry, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there wasn't a speck of dust even when walking barefoot on the floor. Every corner was impeccably clean, making it a haven for those with obsessive-compulsive tendencies. The hotel's location is superb, conveniently situated near the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Most importantly, it's just steps from Zhanggongqiao Food Street, perfect for enjoying local delicacies like braised beef, sweet-skinned duck, and barbecue in the evenings. This was a near-perfect stay. **”Excellent service” isn't just empty words; it's evident in every detail and the smiles of every staff member.** If I ever return to Leshan, this will definitely be my top choice. "The hotel is in the scenic area so it is a little tricky to get to, otherwise it's in a nice quite ancient street which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan china. Vehicles aren't allowed in the area and the street is lined with historic style buildings and large trees. Making it a great place to walk, relax and people watch. The hotel will contact you prior to arrival and arrange for a free electric shuttle pick you up. There are very few food options at and near the hotel. The hotel has a vegetarian set meal that's on the pricey side as is everything in the immediate area. However its a short 10 - 20 minute walk across the bridge where there are several options as well as shops. And if you go in the evening you can see the people dancing in along the boardwalk,.karaoke, or playing cards well as get your ears cleaned, a pedicure, or a haircut. The breakfast was a buffet on one day featuring chinese dishes as fried eggs and toast. On the 2nd day it was a set very traditional chinese breakfast. The room was nice with its own heating/ cooling system. Overall the cleaning could have been better, especially for the price point. The staff was fine. Better attention then you would get in any north american hotel, but in other hotels we recieved over the top service so even through the service was great there is room for improvement. Even though everyone comes to this area for the buddha, i would reccomend coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of china. You can walk to the buddha statue or boat tour from the hotel or there is a cheap electric shuttle 15y that you can ride all day of you are walked out."

"Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"What a beautiful hotel. It is situated in a very strategic location in the middle of the happening where the Giant Buddha is (around 800m to entrance gate. The pedestrian street where the hotel is located, is gorgepusly colorful illuminated in the evening until around 23:00 Xiaoyan, the hotel staff is very helpful and escorted me to my room and explained everything regarding the functionaliity of the room. Check in was also efficiently done by Xiaoyan. Thank you. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Food was sooo deliciois and competitively reasonably priced according to my opinion compared to prices in the Netherlands. The atmosphere at the bar overlooking the river is nice. Definitely want to come back again in the near future."

The building itself is stunning, with beautiful heritage-style architecture, but what really stood out was the service. From the hotel driver to the reception team and room service, every member of staff was genuinely attentive and welcoming. One highlight was the hot spring pool. I was lucky enough to have it all to myself, and it was absolutely perfect—so relaxing after a tough hike and it left me feeling completely rejuvenated. On top of that, the snack combo was a real bargain and added extra value to my stay. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and authentic charm, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s the perfect choice to unwind and enjoy an amazing stay after exploring Emei Shan.

Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by its spotless condition and the attention to detail. The linens and bed were of high quality, and the inclusion of every modern appliance and amenity ensured a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me in arranging my day, ensuring I didn't miss out on any attractions. The hotel's location is excellent, with only a 15-minute taxi ride to the Leshan Scenic area and a short three-minute walk to the ancient snack street. The proximity to delicious local snacks and restaurants made dining options easily accessible. Being situated along the riverfront was a real treat, as I could take leisurely strolls by the water in the mornings, with the magnificent Giant Buddha visible in the distance. While it would have been nice if the hotel served breakfast, the abundance of snack options just minutes away compensated for it. I highly recommend Jishe Hotel to anyone visiting Leshan, whether they are friends, couples, solo travelers, or on a business trip. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and the whole hotel was decked out in Christmas decorations with festive music playing. It felt incredibly festive! The service attitude was excellent throughout my stay: • Concierge: From the moment I arrived, staff were there to open the car door, and they did the same when I left by taxi. Very warm and welcoming~ • Front Desk: The lady at the front desk was meticulous in handling everything, spoke softly, and even upgraded my room for free 🏠 • Coffee Bar: The manager on duty was also very kind and enthusiastically offered recommendations ☕ • Housekeeping: The cleaning aunties would always greet me with a smile in the morning 🙋‍♀️ Overall, the atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming 🧸. Every staff member was friendly. Yesterday, I encountered a minor issue midway through my stay, and the staff stayed with me throughout the process, making me feel supported. It was a great experience. 💕 Dining Experience: • Breakfast: The small noodles with bamboo shoots and beef brisket were especially delicious! 🍜 • Chinese Restaurant: The food was generally okay, but I personally found some dishes a bit oily. The sweet skin duck I ordered had a slight fishy taste, but it was acceptable. • Afternoon Tea: The staff were very thoughtful, even offering takeout and packing services 📦. In the evening, I had some cocktails and ordered snacks like fries. The overall ambiance was great 🍸. • In-room Welcome Gift: In the evening, they prepared welcome fruits, which were local Emei Mountain specialties 🍊, and croissants 🥐. Very thoughtful. Room Amenities: The room was equipped with a bathtub, and the view outside the window was beautiful. The heating was excellent, and the mattress and pillows were soft and comfortable. They even thoughtfully provided two pillow heights (one high, one low). The only minor drawback was the lack of disposable bathtub liners and bath salts. Hot Springs and Pool: Guests can enjoy the hot springs and there's also a swimming pool. The hot springs are split into indoor and outdoor sections. The outdoor section is a large pool without much decorative design, but the water temperature and quality were both excellent. Travel Photography Service: The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photography service, including 3 free photos. The photographer was very professional and patiently guided me on poses; the retoucher was also very skilled, and the photos turned out beautifully! Value for Money: The price was very reasonable, and the facilities and services were definitely worth it. Little Highlight: I noticed a small detail: even the sand-filled receptacles for cigarette butts had the hotel's logo on them, showing great attention to detail. Minor Flaw: Yesterday, I requested turn-down service, but it wasn't carried out. However, the front desk lady promptly prepared a small gift as compensation 🎁, and her handling of the situation was very good. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Emeishan~ 🎀

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

HHannauroraStaying at PureCloud was a really good experience. The staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel also provided a pickup and drop-off service. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were kind and helpful, even recommending and arranging visits to several places for us. The hotel's restaurant also served delicious meals, which were quite spicy, but they could adjust the spice level to our preference, so don't worry—just ask the chef. Overall, everyone here was really helpful, and I highly recommend this place to others.

Despite our late arrival at 10:30 PM, the staff still greeted us warmly. Upon learning that our child enjoys yogurt, they thoughtfully prepared yogurt, fresh welcome fruits, and snacks for us. The breakfast was also quite good, featuring freshly cooked bacon. The beef and pork rib noodles were delicious, and the complimentary fruit tea was very tasty. My only minor suggestion would be if they could offer freshly ground coffee!

You can directly wear your bathrobe to the hot spring area from the hotel, as it's all accessible through the same lobby, which is very convenient. You won't feel cold at all. The hot springs are great, with two small indoor pools and a wave pool, all heated. There are many outdoor pools too. After soaking, you can also enjoy a sauna, which is very comfortable.

XXiaofeilongThe location is excellent, just a stone's throw away from the food street. Although the room was small, it was well-equipped and clean, and the hot water temperature and pressure were both excellent. The main drawbacks are the lack of an elevator and a slightly confusing internal layout. The staircases connecting the 1st to 2nd floor, and then from the 2nd to the 3rd-5th floors, are not continuous; you have to walk across the entire second floor to reach the next flight. This makes it particularly challenging for guests with heavy luggage. Additionally, the inn doesn't have its own parking, so guests need to find nearby parking, but they do reimburse parking fees.

We booked during the off-season, so to get good value for money, we opted not to include breakfast, planning to just grab a quick bite before heading down the mountain. To our surprise, the hotel staff provided a complimentary breakfast for two, and it was incredibly hearty! It included congee, steamed buns, eggs, several stir-fried dishes, and pickles. The congee was thick and filling, keeping us full. The room has underfloor heating, which I recommend turning on in advance. We went up in late September, so it wasn't too cold; short sleeves were fine when the sun was out, but we needed thicker jackets for evenings or rain. At night, the heating was most comfortable around 22°C. Going higher made it too hot to sleep. Before turning it on, the floor temperature was around 16°C, and it took about two hours to reach the set 22°C. However, once it hit the target temperature, the heating seemed to keep going, making it too hot to sleep. So, it's better to keep it a bit lower. The bathroom in the room is a portable type, which I wasn't quite sure how to use. Also, after a shower, water pooled on the floor, making it quite messy. I hope this can be improved. Overall, having a room with hot showers and underfloor heating at the top of the mountain was really comfortable. If price isn't a concern, I highly recommend it; the experience was fantastic. P.S. Their stir-fried dishes were also quite good, with that wok-hei flavor. The seasoning was a little light, though. Since it's a bit cold on the mountain and many guests hike up, a bit more salt would be appreciated (unless the guests are elderly).
