"Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"The hotel is really well located. right by the river and within walking distance of the entrance to The Giant Buddha. The room is ok, quite large with a view of the river, but everything is a bit worn. The staff is not very welcoming and it is a shame because it would have made the experience much better."

"The hotel has its own parking lot on the ground floor, so you can park your car and head straight to the front desk to check in. The front desk staff provided excellent service, recommending nearby places to eat and upgrading us to a higher floor. Since it was still a bit chilly in early spring, the front desk even provided a small heater, making the entire room nice and warm. The evening service was also very good. We're very satisfied! 😀"

"The location is really easy to find, right next to the high-speed train station. For this price, the quality of the stay was excellent. The room was very spacious and roomy. We booked a room with a hot tub, and it looked exactly like the pictures. The ladies at the front desk were all very kind and helpful, always ready to assist with any request. They even provided recommendations for local restaurants, which was a nice touch. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from Wanda Plaza, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. There are also plenty of great local eateries right next door, like Yingzi's Fried Skewers and Grandma Ju's Shaved Ice, which were both exceptionally delicious. We received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in, which was a thoughtful and warm touch. The rooms are relatively new, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and our whole family slept soundly during our two-night stay. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They even kindly offered our family of three a complimentary breakfast, which was quite good. Although the hotel's parking lot was full when we arrived, and we had to park at Wanda Plaza, the hotel graciously reimbursed us for the parking fee. This gesture was truly impressive and much appreciated. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this hotel!"

"The hotel is a new hotel and some rooms are under decorations，it is not a real hotel actually which can be named guest house or inn. It is a boutique inn which locates beside Jailing river. Upon check in ，agent is very friendly and helpful，she welcomed us with hospitality and warmth. The inn boss met in the lobby by accident，sorry can not memorized his name，he is very kind and enthusiastic. The boss offered my wife a wooden hand strings，he expressed which can bring us happiness and lucky destiny. Besides，he issued us tourists map and Leshan introduction which are very user-friendly to first comer. There are many restaurants nearby，such as Miao Wei spicy hot pot(秒味串串)，BBQ and Qiaojiao beef(跷脚牛肉)，etc. Our room locates on 20th floor & No. 05，is not very spacious，however the layout and location are very gorgeous which face Jialing river directly and Leshan giant Buddha can be overlooked clearly in the distance. This amazing view brought us good mood and atmosphere during stay. It is a bit expensive during May day holiday. It is the best choice for lodging under the premise of avoiding holiday and festive days for staggered shift tourism. Overall staying experience was good，staffs are nice ，especially location and picturesque. Strongly recommend to all of you if you travel to Leshan. Thanks"

"I stayed at this hotel in late January. I didn't pay attention to the details when I booked, but there was road construction directly in front of the main entrance, making it inaccessible to vehicles. I had to take a taxi to a residential area near the back of the hotel. I was quite disoriented when I got out of the car and had to search a bit before finding the main entrance. My first impression was a bit disappointing; the surroundings didn't seem very good. Some rooms faced the residential area. However, the front desk staff, both the young man and young woman, were incredibly friendly. Their warm smiles made up for the initial disappointment. They even helped me switch to a room with a partial river view. On the second day, when I went out, I realized that this location would be excellent if not for the road construction. It offers river views, and a snack street with many well-known eateries is just a 10-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. If the road construction is finished, a stroll along the river would be quite pleasant. The picture shows the view outside the hotel's main entrance."

"The city of Leshan was one of our favorite stops during our trip to China. We went to see the Giant Buddha, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-see, especially from the boat view. Our hotel room had a stunning view that honestly didn’t even compare to the pictures. It was even better in person. The toilet alone was next-level! It was pretty cold when we visited in March, but the overall experience made up for it. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We paid about $60 USD for one of the best views, and that price also included a buffet breakfast for two people, which made it an even better deal. They also had two small washer machines available. I believe they offered detergent, but we chose to use our own. The only downside is that there’s no traditional dryer—just a heated drying cabinet. You can only hang about five pieces of clothing at a time, and it takes around 1.5 hours to dry. We ended up hanging some of our clothes in the laundry room, and the staff was kind enough to rotate them for us while we were out for the day. Before traveling to China, I highly recommend downloading WeChat (for communication), Alipay (for payments), and Didi (like Uber). Not everyone speaks English, but many people will communicate with you through WeChat, which was super helpful. We also paid for a half-day extension for about $15. Our original room was already booked, so they gave us a smaller room, but it allowed us to enjoy our day and come back to shower and get ready before heading to Chengdu. If you plan on shopping, Leshan is one of the cheapest places to do it. We bought two large suitcases for $17 and $18. They were basic plastic with a simple key lock, but they did the job—we made it all the way back to Los Angeles with them. One wheel did fall off after the flight, but honestly, it was still worth it. We didn’t want to spend money on expensive luggage for a one-time use. There’s a store about a five-minute walk away—it’s like a colorful, open-style dollar store where you can just walk right in. Overall, the staff and experience were amazing. I would absolutely stay here again."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, situated right within the Leshan Giant Buddha scenic area, just about 50 meters from the sightseeing shuttle pick-up point. The service is exceptional; they offer a complimentary hotel shuttle to pick you up from where the taxis drop off and even help with your luggage. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. There's also a bird named 'Xiao Xiao' at the front desk, like the hotel's mascot, who is very friendly with guests and loves to play. The front desk upgraded my room, and I absolutely loved the Chinese Zen-inspired decor. The hotel environment is tranquil, perfect for those who appreciate peace and quiet. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Giant Buddha."

"The biggest surprise of my Leshan trip was the Zen Garden Jiading Courtyard Hotel. Tucked away in the Jiading Square of the Grand Buddha scenic area, it faces the Three Rivers and is backed by Mount Lingyun. Its Southern Sichuan folk architecture, with blue tiles and white walls, blends seamlessly with the natural landscape. Stepping inside, you instantly leave the hustle and bustle behind. Six independent courtyards wind and meander, with lush greenery alongside the flagstone paths and the gentle sounds of Zen music – every step exudes a tranquil poetry. The room design pays close attention to detail; the golden nanmu wood bracelet room key is a particularly unique touch. Staff member Xiao Wang was incredibly kind and attentive, from arranging the shuttle buggy to explaining activities, her service was meticulous throughout. Experiences like scripture copying, Zen tea ceremonies, and morning Tai Chi allowed us to slow down. Sipping tea amidst incense in the tea room and strolling through the riverside garden completely relaxed both body and mind. Breakfast was also a delightful surprise, with a rich variety of options including porridge, pastries, and local Leshan snacks. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and enjoying the riverside lights at night, this isn't just accommodation – it's a healing journey. Located just a few hundred meters from the mountain climbing entrance, its prime location near the Grand Buddha scenic area, combined with an immersive Zen culture experience, makes it the perfect choice for a trip to Leshan!
