"The guesthouse is conveniently located at the entrance of the ancient city, making it easy to get around. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped. The facilities truly reflect the owner's dedication; it's a three-story building with an elevator, and the decor and amenities are new, smart, and spotlessly clean. Even the toiletries are made of wood – fantastic! 👍🏻 The service is also excellent; they thoughtfully provided pick-up and drop-off service from the station and breakfast. My stay was comfortable and hassle-free, offering better value than branded hotels. Definitely my next choice! 😊"

"We loved the interior decor, the proximity to the ancient town, and how clean and comfortable the room was. The BnB provides free breakfast vouchers at a local noodle stall in the ancient town, and it was an incredible meal. Appreciated the free room upgrade and the BnB for watching our bags after our check-out time!

"First time visiting Weishan, and I chose the Lavande Hotel. The parking lot is huge, and there's a back entrance directly into the hotel. The hotel garden is beautiful, and the room was clean and tidy. It was also quite quiet at night. Since the hotel restaurant wasn't open yet, they gave us breakfast vouchers for a restaurant just across the street. The hotel is very close to the ancient city, just a few minutes' walk. Overall, it was a great stay."

"Weishan is truly a hidden gem, and this homestay we chose is just as wonderful! The location is perfect, right next to Mengyang Park, with fresh air and the sound of birds. It's a five-minute walk to the Avant-Garde Bookstore and also five minutes to the ancient city. When we arrived, the lovely lady at the front desk saw we were staying for three nights and said she wanted to make us more comfortable, so she upgraded our room for free. That was incredibly thoughtful! The double sinks were super convenient for two people, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable with excellent hot water. Every day, fresh fruit was delivered, and we could enjoy complimentary coffee. The breakfast card let us try famous local dishes like Lao Wang's Guojiang Ersi and Su Laosan's Yigen Mian nearby. All the ladies at the front desk were so enthusiastic and attentive. This was a very satisfying homestay experience, and I've already recommended it to friends who are visiting soon!"

"The room is spacious, the toiletries are of good quality, there is unlimited mineral water, free ice cream, and the view is nice. You can see the sunset. It is very close to the ancient city. It is recommended to scan a small yellow car to go there. It is very convenient. I stayed there for two consecutive nights. The king room smelled of smoke on the first night, so we changed to a twin room of the same price. It was very quiet and faced the parking lot, so I stayed there for another night. All aspects of the experience were good."

Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"As an SLH hotel, I had high expectations before arriving, but was ultimately disappointed.
However, it's not all bad. The following met my expectations:
1) Good maintenance and design of public areas
2) Xiao Gong from the restaurant was proactive and attentive to detail.
3) The alpaca feeder at the construction site in the backyard saw me looking at the alpacas through a gap in the back and pointed me through the bamboo grove in the construction area, even bringing me carrots to feed them (the message in the check-in group said carrots would be placed on the table, but they weren't).
The following did not meet my expectations:
1) Poor soundproofing in the room, and limescale in the sink and stains on the bathroom walls;
2) I needed tea sets to send a message, but they weren't delivered to my room even after two days, and I was too lazy to send another message;
3) Besides the aforementioned food and beverage service and the shuttle service at the North Gate of the Old Town, there were no other services, and no proactive service was provided. The card making experience was completely self-service; you had to find the paper and ink yourself from the cabinet, resulting in the card making tools and boards being in poor condition."

"I loved my stay there. Luxury in an old remote town.
USB chargers had turbo mode.
Curtains perfectly blocked the light.
Hot shower with proper water pressure.
However, toilet was annoying. It is as loud as one on the airplane, and auto flushes as soon as you move a little bit. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for amenities too.
Service was great, and I can easily compare it to 4 stars hotels in big cities.
For a foreigner, check in took about 40 seconds, which is super fast.
Roof has a nice terrace with tables."

"The most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my seven-day National Day holiday, with the warmest service. We were picked up free of charge from the high-speed rail station (the car was Didi-quality and supplied with Nongfu Spring). Although it's a B&B, the amenities and service are comparable to those of a star-rated hotel, the environment is elegant, and the value is incredible. The housekeepers' chat group was incredibly responsive. The room had a smart toilet and curtains, a capsule coffee machine, and the owner thoughtfully prepared local roasted tea and tea sets. The hairdryer was also a Lefen negative ionizer (incredibly important to me). The door locks and water heater were all Xiaomi. The complimentary fruit was fresh, and the sweet owner said it was the best Yunnan Ham Pancake in Weishan, and it was indeed better than anywhere else. Before leaving, I even asked the owner for WeChat to buy some. The most touching moment was when we arrived at Weibao Mountain, and the owner saw we were up early, so she gave us homemade rose rolls for breakfast. They were delicious, and the owner even drove us there when he was free. In addition, when I went to take photos, the boss lady took me there by bike even though I didn’t have time. The whole family was very nice. The most surprising thing was that such a friendly and enthusiastic boss lady was actually a model who had won the model championship. She was beautiful, kind and loving. I had a very good impression of Weishan. Next time I come, I will definitely stay here again."
