AAnonymous UserMy family and I enjoyed the stay in this lovely cosy accommodation.
It is perfectly located at a few steps from the entrance of the old town, making it easy to transfer luggage from taxi. There are several nice restaurants around which were our favourite there.
The rooms are spaced and reasonably designed. There is a laundry which is super convenient. The environment is quiet with a beautiful covered courtyard.
The owners are friendly and Carey. They were attended to all our needs. Strongly recommended.

GGuest UserThey upgraded our room, and the butler was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The garden and the coffee shop at the back were tastefully designed, and even though there was renovation going on in the middle, we were still very impressed. The facilities were actually quite good; the bathroom had underfloor heating, and the heating was sufficient in winter. It was a bit of a shame that the water pressure wasn't very high, and the hot water wasn't particularly plentiful, but these minor flaws didn't detract from the overall experience.

The room is comfortable, I don’t know if it’s a new decoration, but the cleanliness is real, the refreshing is also true, there are free snacks and small happy water, the children are very happy, not worth a few dollars but people feel very good ～ The location is really good, that is, not in the core old city, The house will not be so old and cramped, it is on the edge of this small ancient city, and it is also in the ancient city, and the check-in points of the park, the Confucian Temple, and the Pioneer Bookstore around the ancient city are basically covered within ten minutes. Finally, let’s talk about those bad reviews. Can you say that everyone has their own standards, some bad reviews are indeed a bit critical. In addition, the bathroom facing the bed is really unreasonable. No matter from the perspective, experience or physical health, it is not good. But the architectural design is already like this. We really liked Weishan. It’s a beautiful ancient town — much less commercialized than many other places — with a charming and peaceful atmosphere.

1. It has an old-house feel, not a new house with old-fashioned decor.
2. It's spacious enough; I hate rooms under 25 square meters (many small houses in the ancient city have been renovated, which is understandable).
3. The location is great, but you can get to the door by taxi.
It hits all three points.
The soundproofing is poor in an old building, which is understandable; it needs to be maintained by the guests.
The front desk lady was also very nice.

zhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

SSimConverted shop house into homestay inn, along the major highway outside the train station. Location is just opposite the station of about 500m. Room is spacious and clean with squat toilet. Water for bath is hot essential during the cold weather. Waking distance of about 1km to ancient town town or take electric shuttle if RMB 2 per trip.

GGuest UserThis was my first time traveling alone to Weishan, and I stayed in this beautiful little courtyard. I met a very warm and generous auntie who kept feeding me and even let me have a meal – I'm so grateful! The young man even took me to the high-speed rail station and helped me with my luggage because I was in a hurry – 100% service! The guesthouse had a washing machine, a clothes rack, and free breakfast. It wasn't far from the ancient city either. The only minor drawback was that the water pressure in the shower in my room was a little low, but everything else was great. It would have been perfect if the room had a floor mat. I've only just left, but I already miss this city – its slow pace, its tranquility, and every kind person I met there. Weishan, I think I'll come back again.

ZZhangsan…The room has good lighting and good hygiene. It's not far from the ancient city. The girls in the store are very friendly and helpful. They even pick you up at the high-speed rail station. There's an elevator, so you don't have to worry about not being able to carry your luggage, haha...
