Xi Meng Yun Yin was such a wonderful surprise! The owner was incredibly kind; as soon as we arrived, he told us about the house's history—it's a renovated old house from the Qing Dynasty, over a hundred years old, and every detail is full of character, you can feel the care put into it. They even secretly upgraded our room—what a pleasant surprise!! Before we left, they gave us some local handmade dried tangerine peel, so thoughtful!! The cleanliness and service were impeccable, I felt very safe and comfortable staying there, and the environment had a wonderful atmosphere. I'll definitely stay here again next time!!

DaduoliubangI was surprised to find such a thoughtful hotel in an ancient city like Weishan. The room was excellent, fully equipped, with a separate shower and toilet, both spacious, and the hot water was excellent. It felt very upscale, and the room had a bay window with a view. It was great value for money. The receptionist was very welcoming and even gave me a souvenir when I left. Although it's located by the roadside, the soundproofing was good, and it was quiet at night. There were electric scooter rentals nearby, making it convenient to get around the ancient city. It would be an excellent choice for accommodation on any future trip to Weishan.

The Lotus House in Donglianhua Village is only the slow time of unlocking the ancient tea horse road! The homestay is hidden in the depths of the ancient village. The wooden carved doors and windows have the charm of old time. The courtyard is clean and elegant. The window is the pastoral scenery. You can smell the fireworks in the morning, and the night is particularly quiet. The rooms are cleaned, daily necessities and bedding are changed for each guest, the facilities are complete and intimate, and the stay is particularly comfortable. The boss is warm and thoughtful, will patiently recommend the food and play routes in the village, and will also share the old stories of Mabang Village, the atmosphere is superb. The surrounding area is very close to the mosque and the Majia Courtyard. It is convenient to visit the ancient village, experience the intangible heritage, and eat specialties. The degree of commercialization is low, and it is full of original ecology. The price is super high. Next time you come to Donglianhua Village, you will definitely stay here. I recommend it to every friend who wants to slow down and feel life!

Before setting off, I was looking for various B&Bs and I was attracted by this courtyard as soon as I saw it. When I arrived, I found that the courtyard itself was much more beautiful than the pictures. Who knows about the rocking chair! ! ! And what I love more after coming here is that the B&B is very close to the ancient city but not inside the ancient city. Although the ancient city is not that commercialized, you will feel that you are not exposed to the real Weishan Mountain when you stay in the ancient city.
In addition to looking good, the bed is also really comfortable! ! After a long walk, I lay down on the bed and melted away. With the sound of running water outside the window, I loved it so much! Moreover, the shopkeeper is kind-hearted and responsive to all requests, hahahaha

As an SLH hotel, I had high expectations before arriving, but was ultimately disappointed.
However, it's not all bad. The following met my expectations:
1) Good maintenance and design of public areas
2) Xiao Gong from the restaurant was proactive and attentive to detail.
3) The alpaca feeder at the construction site in the backyard saw me looking at the alpacas through a gap in the back and pointed me through the bamboo grove in the construction area, even bringing me carrots to feed them (the message in the check-in group said carrots would be placed on the table, but they weren't).
The following did not meet my expectations:
1) Poor soundproofing in the room, and limescale in the sink and stains on the bathroom walls;
2) I needed tea sets to send a message, but they weren't delivered to my room even after two days, and I was too lazy to send another message;
3) Besides the aforementioned food and beverage service and the shuttle service at the North Gate of the Old Town, there were no other services, and no proactive service was provided. The card making experience was completely self-service; you had to find the paper and ink yourself from the cabinet, resulting in the card making tools and boards being in poor condition.

ZoumaymayI've heard this hotel is one of the better ones in Weishan, though it's not cheap. The location is a bit awkward, surrounded by shops selling renovation materials and across from a food wholesale warehouse. It's noisy during the day but relatively quiet at night. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the ancient city. The hotel seems to have been renovated, as there's only one small elevator for four people, which moves up and down several floors at a snail's pace. The lobby is rather basic, but the room decor and cleanliness are acceptable.

Anonymous UserAside from the location, it was a very good hotel.
There is a free shuttle service between Weishan Station and the hotel. When booking, if you tell them your high-speed train time, they will pick you up on time, and when you return, you can ask the front desk and they will take you back to the station.
You need to walk about 15 minutes to Weishan Ancient City, a tourist attraction.
The room was clean and very spacious, and you could control the curtains and lights with your voice.
The toilet and shower room were separate, and all the necessary amenities were provided.
If you are going to Weibaoshan, you can buy advance tickets at the front desk, which are cheaper than same-day tickets, so I recommend buying them in advance.

Guest UserCome here for the Weibaoshan Prince Palace. The courtyard is very close to Weishan Station and the ancient city, making it convenient to travel. There are also many choices of snack bars nearby. The room is large and clean, and disposable towels are provided.
The boss and his family were super enthusiastic. They invited me to join us in the fire, eat roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu and bait cubes. They also invited me to drink tea and coffee. I felt sincere and considerate. Even a social person like me had a great time chatting :)
The boss recommended a lot of fun and delicious places, but unfortunately this time I only limited to Special Forces and didn’t try them all. But Weishan is a place worth encore. I will stay here again next time I have the chance!

Qingyanhu
Finally, talk about the impression of Lushan.
The ancient city of Lushan is not much different from other places in Yunnan. The center is a Sifang Street and a city building. Not only Yunnan, the so-called ancient city in the country seems to be very bad, and I don't want to evaluate it.
But Caobao Mountain is a kind of existence I have never seen before. As a traditional Taoist famous mountain, dozens of Taoist temples are basically not too big. Sanjin is already a very individual existence, but there is a simple and pure atmosphere, although many are very shabby. But you can still feel the presiding officer's digression and the heart of seeking the good. Several impressions are deeper, Qingxia Palace is the Dali Taoist Association, the atmosphere is magnificent; Changchun Cave is a national insurance unit, but it has its own Xuanmen authentic style; The Lingguan Palace is located in the treasured land of Fengshui, and the protection of the 400-year-old camellia tree is also my heart; there is also the Prince Palace, full of cosplay children, it seems that many are coming on a special trip, do not understand why. In short, almost every Taoist temple has a bit of a feature to say, and find time to revisit in the future.

Nibbler I
You don't usually expect much from a hotel near a railway station, but this one's actually pretty decent and the owners are super welcoming. We even got upgraded to a bigger room with a mahjong table and spent a good chunk of time playing card games. The room comes with TV, AC, hairdryer, few bottles of water, some tea, and toiletries. Keep in mind: all rooms have squat toilets. Still, for the price, I'm really happy with this stay
