"Based on a friend's recommendation, I was torn between another guesthouse and Xishe, but ultimately chose Xishe. After checking in, I felt very glad I did. The entire courtyard is elegant and unique, with a beautiful environment. The guesthouse is located in the center of the ancient city, just a few dozen meters from Xinggong Tower. The guesthouse offers free shuttle service to and from the station. The rooms are decorated in a classic style, creating a cultural atmosphere. The courtyard alone is perfect for taking photos. I would definitely choose it again next time."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is really clean, nicely decorated, fully equipped, and well located. The host is very kind and welcoming. He speaks english and is always available to provide helpful information, assist in any way he can, or just to have a chat. Weishan is also a lovely and peaceful place. I felt really comfortable here and was sad to leave. I’ll definitely come back!"

"It is a garden-style B&B. The entire hotel is full of plants. The environment is quiet and clean. It is located next to Chongzheng Academy of Pioneer Bookstore. It is also a must-visit place when visiting Weishan! It is only a few hundred meters away from the ancient city, and there are many restaurants, snacks and supermarkets nearby. All the staff are very friendly and warm, and the service is attentive. They provide fresh fruits, tea, tour suggestions, car rental services, and help with luggage every day. In addition to well-preserved historical buildings, rich intangible cultural heritage, and sincerity, the treasures of Weishan Warm people! It was a perfect experience!"

"The price was reasonable, and the courtyard inside was quite deep. The soundproofing seemed average, but I guess it was the off-season, so you could barely hear anything at night. For this price, and with an electric blanket and air conditioning, what more could you ask for in the very center of the old town? 🤣"

"Overall, the stay was fantastic! Highly recommended! Facilities: This is a newly opened guesthouse, so all the facilities are brand new. The common areas are well-designed, with a fireplace that brings warmth on cold winter nights, plus a self-service kitchen and washing machine. The rooms feature 'Xiao Du' smart controls, automatic flush toilets, and a wonderfully comfortable hot shower on winter evenings. There's also air conditioning in the room, so it never gets too cold. Cleanliness: The guesthouse staff are incredibly diligent, starting their cleaning early every morning. The common areas are spotless, and the rooms are also kept very clean and tidy. Environment: The environment looks exactly like the photos, with tasteful design. Though the courtyard is small, it's very pleasant, offering delightful photo opportunities everywhere. The guesthouse's location is also excellent, situated on the edge of the ancient city, accessible by car, so you don't have to drag your luggage up hills through the pedestrian-only ancient town streets. It's right next to Mengyang Park, close to the Confucius Temple and Chongzheng Academy (which houses a popular bookstore). Service: The guesthouse owner and their team are incredibly warm and attentive. Breakfast is arranged at several famous restaurants within the ancient city, all well-known, long-standing establishments. The guesthouse also recommends other highly-rated restaurants for lunch and dinner."

"The location is good, close to the ancient town, with parking available for several cars. There's a tea lounge on the second-floor corridor where you can enjoy complimentary tea. You can experience the old-style house; there's a small dressing room, and it's clean and tidy. Although the rooms are a bit old, the toilet and shower are new. The bathroom is small, with no separate wet and dry areas, making it inconvenient to use the same space as the washbasin. The courtyard is quiet. The staff proactively and warmly helped with our luggage, and the owner even gave us a handful of Weishan noodles upon check-out. The booked room meets basic needs and is suitable for overnight stays during a trip."

"The Best Accommodation It isn't located right in the middle of the ancient town, so it isn't noisy, but it isn't far either; you can reach the center of the town with just a short walk. Although I don't speak a word of Chinese, they welcomed me via an interpreter and introduced me to the accommodation. I was touched when they asked if I had eaten dinner since I arrived late at night, perhaps intending to treat me to some. When I asked if there were any good places to eat nearby for breakfast, one of the brothers personally drove me to a restaurant. They even kindly came out to see me off when I checked out. Although it was a short 2-night, 3-day trip, Weishan Ancient Town and this accommodation were the best. If I ever come back, I will choose this accommodation without hesitation!"

"民宿地理位置優越，位於古城裡，民宿的小姐姐人超級好，入住發了遊玩攻略，跟着攻略吃到了好吃的一根麪（拌麪），稀豆粉餌塊，卷粉（忘了拍照片，木瓜醋太好喝了），房間是新裝修的，和圖片一樣，小院設計的挺精美，入住體驗很不錯，感受到了巍山小吃節熱鬧的氛圍 ！"

"Stepping through the blue stone road, the wooden door of Danqing Caotang broke into the slow time as soon as it was pushed. The texture of the old wood has a warm touch of the years, the beams and columns are carved and hidden in the exquisite thoughts of the ancient house, the sun shines on the log furniture through the carved windows, and the light is full of healing. In the morning, I was awakened by the birdsong, and the tea fragrance mixed with the wood fragrance into the room; at night, I sat around the courtyard bamboo chair, watching the starry sky filled the house, listening to the light of the evening wind passing the raft, unloading all fatigue, too comfortable."

"I stayed for two days, and here are just three impressions: 1. The design aesthetics are top-notch. Those who appreciate architectural aesthetics or Aman's design style should definitely stay here. It's actually quite similar to Aman's aesthetic expression. A lot of effort has been put into restoring the mansion. There are several ancient trees in the courtyard. The landscaping is also very rustic. The old house has been rebuilt, and it's a very sophisticated way to convey light and time. 2. It's truly relaxing. Besides the bedding, the room's orientation, air circulation, and even the feng shui orientation are all carefully considered. Simply put, it ensures a good night's sleep. In the morning, there's a faint scent of plants in the air. The four different sections are named after spring, summer, autumn, and winter, creating a sense of peace. The mornings are unique and change daily, incorporating local characteristics. The food is nutritionally balanced, with a variety of protein sources including plant-based, meat-based, porridge, and vegetables. I think detail-oriented people will really appreciate it. 3. The backyard, with its peacocks, alpacas, flowers, birds, fish, and insects, is very pleasant and vibrant. It's a very lively place."
