"Pros: As a new hotel, the facilities are complete and have a wonderful seaside resort vibe. We, two adults and two children, booked a room type with four beds, which essentially acts as two separate rooms – a great layout for families. Since it's on a hillside, there's a scenic elevator from the hotel to the ground floor, and the beach is just across the road. The room was clean, the balcony offered sea views, and complimentary ramen and milk were provided in the evenings.
Cons: In our building, when the balcony door was open, there was a very noisy large outdoor air conditioning unit, which meant we mostly had to keep the balcony door closed. The duvet on the bed was a bit too thick, more suited for winter. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from Atami Station, but there's a continuous flight of stairs in between. If you have luggage, carrying it up these stairs can be quite tiring. The hotel doesn't offer a scheduled shuttle service to Atami Station; when we inquired, a female staff member at the front desk very firmly stated that this service was not available."
