GGuest UserThe environment is very good, very antique Japanese style. Although the language is different, I will be very enthusiastic and use a translator to communicate. Breakfast is also very rich. The front desk will also be very enthusiastic to help me check the train timetable and remind us the time to catch the train.

GGuest UserIt was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities. The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami! I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.

GGuest UserVentilation for the bunks wasn't that great so it got warm inside pretty fast, had to leave the bunk curtain open a little to let air in. Also there was only one shower for each gender, wasn't really an issue for me since there weren't that many people staying there at that time but could be an issue if there were more people. Cleanliness was good.

PPapayabananaThe room was tidy and clean. We shared toilet and hot spring. The hot spring was awesome and we enjoyed 45 minutes there. This place was a worth staying hostel yet a bit far away from the JR station.
