"The room was actually quite spacious, bright, and comfortable, with clean beds and a fantastic full ocean view. However, the facilities were a bit dated. Also, probably due to staff shortages, the hotel offered guests staying multiple nights a 2000 JPY credit per night if they opted out of housekeeping, which could be used at the hotel's outlets. The hotel's location was a bit tricky to find. Arriving at night, the navigation led us through small alleyways and stone steps. Carrying luggage up those steps was quite a struggle 😰, and after descending the stone steps, we still had to climb a slope… 😂. I'd recommend taking a taxi if you're arriving late! Overall, this hotel was very comfortable, and it was a pleasant end to our in-depth trip."

"This is one of the best onsen hotels we have stayed. Great ambiance, amazing infrastructure and interior. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious too! Even it’s located a bit far up, but with taxi, it’s very accessible. I would recommend all visitors to stay with Soki Atami!"

"The hotel's facilities are really great. I chose a huge tatami room all to myself, though people from my country might not be used to sleeping on tatami. The only downside to the room was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but thankfully there's a door, and closing it helped a lot. Both the room and the restaurant face the sea and the harbor, so the view is absolutely unparalleled. As for the location, it's a bit on the outskirts with no commercial areas nearby; it takes about a 10-minute walk to reach dining and shopping spots. All hotel guests receive a complimentary hot spring ticket. Their hot spring also faces the sea. The infinity hot spring pool is definitely the biggest highlight! The entire hot spring area is very modern and beautifully designed. However, it's spread across 7 floors, and you have to undress upstairs and downstairs, with shoe storage and showering not in the same area, which makes the process a bit confusing and overwhelming."

"Turns out, this hotel is where I stayed on my very first trip to Japan! I didn't realize it when I booked, but it hit me after checking in. What a pleasant surprise and a wonderful coincidence! Soaking in the hot springs right on the ocean's horizon, facing the entire Pacific Ocean, the view was expansive, and my heart felt so free. It was an absolute treat 😎"

"The hotel is very new and has some taste of decoration. Although the room is large in size, there is no table, and everything can only be placed on the ground. The service staff can only speak simple English, the communication is not very smooth, but the service attitude is very good. There is also the hotel on the mountain, there is no convenience store around, shopping is not convenient, go out to eat and shop, go back to the hotel to climb the mountain, all the way down absolutely dead."

"The hotel charges per person, which is perfect for solo travelers. Some hotels have different prices for single and double occupancy rooms, such as 1.8n and 2n respectively. This hotel only charges 1n and 2n, with no extra charge for solo travelers. Considering this, the hotel's food and facilities are very good value for money (but the sweet shrimp was not fresh, so don't eat it). I made good use of the hotel shuttle bus, and overall, the experience was very good."

"Check-in was quick and easy, with two staff members who spoke Chinese, so there were no language barrier issues. When checking in, they proactively asked about our preferred dinner time to avoid long waits due to too many guests dining at once. Since our room didn't have a private bathroom, we used the public male and female onsen baths downstairs, which were well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. After dinner, you can reserve the karaoke or mahjong rooms at the front desk in advance and use them at your reserved time. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was quite delicious."

The mattresses and bedding are from premium brands, and even the restaurant uses WMF cutlery. These details show that the hotel isn't just focused on appearances; it's genuinely committed to perfecting its offerings. 3️⃣ Hospitality and Experience The overall operation demonstrates a sophisticated approach to hospitality. The hotel covers the taxi fare between the JR station and the hotel, and the mini-bar in the room is entirely complimentary. While these are small touches, they highlight the hotel's dedication to enhancing the guest experience. 4️⃣ Dining Experience Breakfast follows a refined Kaiseki-style with a French rhythm, served course by course, with the entire meal lasting nearly an hour. The dishes are few but of excellent quality, truly a 'small but exquisite' culinary journey. 5️⃣ Service Experience While Japanese hotels generally offer good service, this one particularly touched me. Nightly turndown service, the staff's consistent smiles, the omelet chef at breakfast proactively delivering dishes to our table, and the patient and detailed assistance from a Chinese-speaking front desk employee all made the entire stay incredibly warm and pleasant. 6️⃣ Location and View The hotel boasts a convenient location with an almost unobstructed, front-row ocean view. The most enjoyable moments were soaking in the private hot spring on the balcony, gazing out at the sea – truly a quintessential vacation feeling. Overall, this is a high-end hotel that strikes an excellent balance in design, service, views, and quality. The experience is almost flawless. If you're planning a trip to Atami, it's definitely a top choice. 💯 A perfect score for this hotel."

"Standard Japanese-style hot spring hotel, on the mountainside, the art museum will pass a little more. Taxi from Shizuoka Station is generally about 1500YEN. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the station and several fixed points at 4 fixed times in the morning, and a taxi is required to enter and exit at other times. Breakfast is normal. The view is very good. If you catch up with the fireworks conference, you may see fireworks in the room, right? The public bathroom is very ordinary, and the room with private soup is more comfortable, but you have to go to the public bathroom door to get a piece of ice cream strip and ice milk for each person."
