"The location is fantastic! It's right by the Central Station, and the subway entrance is just downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room was decent, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Plus, there's an express train to the airport directly from Central Station."

"Such a great hotel in Milan located near China town area which makes us easy to find our favorite Asian food. On the other hand, the gym and spa is wonderful, hotel room is new, breakfast is decent and I would say the best iced Americano I have tasted during our entire stay in Italy. "As many have said, don't expect to walk there. After being scammed by another guesthouse, I booked this hotel nearby. It was very clean and the room was spacious, though the surroundings were a bit desolate. The front desk attendant looked like Sylvester Stallone, even had a tattoo on his arm, but wasn't very enthusiastic. The food downstairs was good quality, but not cheap; it cost us 84 euros for three people. The server there was very friendly. We booked an early morning airport transfer, which was perfectly on time and cost 5 euros per person. Overall, aside from the price, everything else was pretty good."

"Hotel location: The Milan HD8 Hotel is located directly opposite Milan Central Station, just across the road. It's also conveniently located for the airport express train, even more so than the regular train, as it's just a short walk across the road. Room space: Very small. Once a suitcase is laid flat, there's no room to walk around. Facilities and hygiene: The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the air conditioning is very strong. It has a 6-foot double bed, but there were no toothbrushes, conditioner, slippers, or tissues. [Unexpected Safety Incident] On the second night of my stay, the power tripped twice in quick succession. When I reported the first outage, the male front desk staff member was surprisingly able to accurately state my room number. He contacted an engineer to inspect, and the conclusion was that it wasn't due to a problem in the room itself, but rather the main circuit breaker on the first floor where my room was located. After it was reset, the power was restored. However, less than half an hour later, the power tripped a second time. This time, the male front desk staff member didn't call an engineer; he came upstairs himself and attempted to close me in the room. I managed to hold the door open in time, and clearly informed him and pointed out the switch location inside the room, which prevented an unsafe situation! The male front desk staff member then went to the main circuit breaker, and the power in the room was restored in just 2-3 seconds (presumably by flipping the breaker). This male front desk staff member offered no comfort or apology, but instead asked, “Are you scared?” Because the power tripped twice on the same night, making it impossible to stay safely, I contacted Ctrip customer service representative L19742 around 3-4 AM China time. Ctrip handled the situation appropriately for me, and there were no further power outages after that. [In summary, even with a good hotel location, I do not recommend single travelers stay here.]"

"Based on high expectations and experience of luxury hotels: Friendly staff, surprised to have access to room before 11am ( without needing to pay extra) always appreciate when hotels are sensible knowing the room was available and why not. Hotel was delightfully fragranced with good storytelling throughout ; for leisurely enjoyment and increasing our time spent at the hotel. Room was very bright , contemporary design with comfortable easy to manage digital controls for lighting and climate control. Likewise bathroom was spacious and practical. Linen felt luxurious for the “price of hotel” I highly recommend the hotel as I have been to Milano many times and stayed in the centre or near Centrql station but decided to try Navigli area for a change. The subway line was very convenient to go to Brera and actually to Central train station or the Linate airport. We had dinner and also breakfast at the hotel; both occasions exceeded our expectations. True value for money AND delicious , generous portions / offering with excellent bespoke service !!! Will want to stay there again !"

"Conveniently located next to the main train station. Rooms are clean and staff are very helpful. Breakfast is €14 per person and had a good variety to choose from. Would recommend if you don't need to be right in the centre near all the main attractions."

"We stayed at this hotel because we had a 4 AM flight the next morning. We booked a taxi through the hotel, and the staff said they could pack breakfast for us to take away. After checking in, we found the air conditioning wasn't working. Milan was scorching hot, and no matter how we adjusted it, the AC stayed above 26 degrees Celsius. We called the front desk around 9 PM. After a long wait, a staff member came, but all they did was press the AC temperature buttons a few times and then left. We had set the AC to 18 degrees, but the temperature just wouldn't drop. The front desk said they'd send another person to fix it and claimed the hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't switch rooms. We waited for a very long time again, and it was almost 11 PM, but still no one came to fix it. My husband called the hotel again, this time being a bit more assertive. The hotel finally sent another person, who worked on it for a while but said it couldn't be fixed. The front desk then finally offered to move us to a room with working AC, from room 438 to 410. We finally got into a room with functioning air conditioning past 11:30 PM. Both my child and I were exhausted. They had previously said the rooms were all full, but now there was one – isn't that contradictory? If there was a room available, why didn't they switch us earlier? We could have gotten at least 2-3 more hours of sleep. We woke up around 3 AM the next morning to pack our bags. After a night of hassle, neither of us got much sleep. The taxi driver arrived promptly at 4 AM, but the packed breakfast the hotel promised was not provided. The service at this hotel is truly speechless. I will definitely not be staying here again."
