"My room wasn’t well cleaned (as you can see in the photos). The toilet paper hadn’t been changed and was already half used. I could also feel the springs in the mattress, which made it uncomfortable. The scariest part was getting locked out on the balcony. There’s a sliding door that closed behind me and locked immediately. I was on the 10th floor and panicked for a moment. Luckily, the second door wasn’t locked (it seemed broken), otherwise it could have been a serious situation. My room was 1011—be careful with the balcony door. The kitchen is very basic: just a stove, fridge, and electric kettle. All cupboards were empty. If you’re staying longer, note that there isn’t even a glass or basic kitchenware. To access the gym, you need to go to the top floor and then climb additional stairs. The stair area smells very bad, and the gym itself also had a strong unpleasant smell with poor ventilation, so I couldn’t use it. The shared bathrooms were also quite dirty. On Trip.com it says late checkout until 2 pm is possible if available. When I asked reception, they said it was available, but only if I left a 5-star review. I chose not to take it. It felt odd, especially since there is a sign in the room saying they want to improve and reward complaints. It feels like this place might have had its charm in the past, but it’s not well maintained anymore. The staff are friendly, so this seems more like a management issue."

"I love Baitong, it's the type of hotel that makes the holiday so much worth it. The staff are nice and welcoming, the rooms are always kept clean and they have amenities like breakfast and gym. Fantastic, I love this hotel and recommend it to all travellers"

"This was my third stay, but unfortunately this time was quite disappointing. Due to what seemed to be a heavy concentration of guest check-ins and check-outs, our room was not ready until after 2:00 PM. In addition, the poolside area was unavailable, as some guests reserved loungers from early in the morning and behaved inconsiderately. The service at the reception was also underwhelming. The staff did not appear very attentive, and the welcome drink was not offered unless we specifically asked for it. On a positive note, the restaurants La Pergola were excellent. They are reasonably priced, the quality of the food was very high, and the restaurant staff provided outstanding service. We were very satisfied with the dining experience."

"The location is excellent, right next to the Grand Palace, and just a few steps from the Tonle Sap River. The security guard at the entrance provided excellent service; he helped us re-order a car to the airport after a tuk-tuk arrived instead of a car. The breakfast was also very rich and the pool is beautiful."

"The Bridge Club could use some repairs and upgrades. We were on the 40th floor and the view was spectacular. Their pool was the best I have seen. We had a 1 bedroom apartment but it lacked dishes and utensils. The bed was ok and they had a smart tv ( good for my firestick. 7/10"

"This small hotel offers incredible value for money. I booked a classic double room with a bathtub and a balcony. The breakfast is à la carte, and while the variety isn't huge, the food is delicious. I especially loved the tuna sandwich and ordered it every day, and the latte was also excellent. The hotel only provides two complimentary bottles of water per day. The front desk staff don't speak Chinese, but their English is very fluent. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied."

"I was very fortunate to stay at this newly opened hotel, from April 17th to April 20th, and then extended my stay to April 30th. This is the first time I've really felt compelled to write a review for a hotel. Below is my comprehensive review; I'd give it a 9 out of 10. 1. Hotel Facilities: All facilities, including the rooms, gym, swimming pool, and laundry room, are the latest and highest quality. Every place was impeccably clean and tidy. I was extremely satisfied with the facilities, especially the bed, which was incredibly comfortable. 2. Service Quality: The service from the staff, including the front desk, housekeeping, chefs, and hotel manager, was excellent. Many of the staff, including the front desk, manager, and chefs, speak both Chinese and English. There are also Chinese-speaking signs throughout the hotel, making the check-in experience very convenient, especially suitable for Chinese guests. 3. Restaurant Experience Because it had just opened and there weren't many customers, the restaurant didn't offer a buffet yet; it was à la carte, with both Western and Chinese dishes. The food was delicious. My reservation included a free lunch, so I enjoyed a variety of customized and delicious lunches every day. The chef's skills were top-notch, and the restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. This was a perfect experience for me. 4. The only drawback, and the reason I deducted one point: the air conditioning wasn't working properly on my first night. However, this was understandable, as it was newly opened and there weren't many guests. The hotel staff resolved the issue promptly that night, and the hotel manager personally explained the situation to me the next day and offered compensation. I was very satisfied with the hotel's efficiency and attitude. In short, I highly recommend this hotel!!! Honestly, this is the most comfortable hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none."

"Chaiya Palace was awesome... specially the Location is superb, there's a park in front of hotel, then Royal palace, River viewpoint, aeon mall and many more near hotel... We booked 5 rooms (3 double and 2 single) all rooms was clean, very big compare to other hotel...pool, gym, bar, Cafe they have all. Service and security was very good too, clean everyday ❤️...i liked the most was my 12th floor room sunrise view 🌅 at 5.40 am. would definitely Recommend and come back again ❤️"

"Eden Still can’t believe that such a tranquil place is actually situated amidst hustle and bustle of never sleeping Phnom Penh traffic and street life. Once you step into the property you’ll find yourself in another reality- lush garden, turquoise pool, heritage building (dating back to 1920), everything is quite, peaceful and amazingly beautiful The decoration is a state of the art itself, each detail is placed rightly and bring such joy for eyes of the visitors with good taste. Restaurant is fabulous- breakfast or dinner simply gorgeous. My room was a part of the historic building so I’m more than happy to stay in the vintage style and again have no single complaint The service was outstanding. No wonder the hotel is filled with visitors and booked in advance, really popular spot. No hesitation to book it next time Thank you very much for the wonderful experience!"
