I really enjoyed my stay at Apsor Palace Hotel. It’s in a very convenient location, just a short distance from the Royal Palace and nearby shopping. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. A comfortable and pleasant experience overall.

Hotel KVL has a lovely atmosphere and a great overall ambience. Although the area outside can be quite noisy, the room itself was surprisingly quiet, which made for a very comfortable stay. The bed quality was excellent and very comfortable, and the L’Occitane bathroom amenities were a particularly nice touch. Everything in the room felt well considered and made the stay feel a little more special. Service was attentive and welcoming throughout. I also really appreciated the selection of welcome drinks, including options like beer. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great attention to detail.

A magnificent hotel! Everything was perfect! Superb location and wonderfully attentive service. We requested an early check-in the day before, and the esteemed Mr. Sovanvitou EA kindly replied that he would assist us if the hotel's availability allowed. The hotel is very modern, design-forward, and functional. Everything is catered for guests, and everything works and adjusts perfectly: the air conditioning, the water, and there's even a place to dry clothes. The pillows, mattress, and duvet are perfect, making for a very comfortable stay. The cleanliness is impeccable. Our flight was canceled, so we checked out and were sitting in the lobby booking new flight tickets. The hotel staff asked if we needed any help, brought us water, and said we could use the shower for free if needed, even though we hadn't asked for anything. The staff repeatedly offered their help and care, which was truly wonderful.

Our originally booked room would have been on the 9th floor, right below the pool and bar. We requested a different one. It wasn't the same category, but it was okay. The bed was a bit too soft and the pillows too thick. You can't please everyone, I guess. The bathroom was very small, but the shower had good water pressure and was hot. The breakfast area/cafe was far too small for so many guests, and it was too hot to sit outside. Breakfast was mediocre but sufficient. The location was superb. Very quiet on a side street, yet right in the heart of things. However, we had the bad luck of construction happening at the temple across the street. You should avoid that side of the hotel. The rooftop pool area is nice. The view over the city and the skyline, however, is sensational. Overall, the stay was good. We would gladly come back.

The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to make guests feel special and valued. The food, cleanliness, comfort, and overall ambience are simply outstanding. I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. It genuinely feels like a home away from home, but with the elegance and service of a five-star luxury property. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, exceptional hospitality, and beautiful memories. Absolutely outstanding—10/10 and highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests). I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a “standard double room” with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business. At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting “hello”, “come here”, “handsome” and “bong” (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased. The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didn’t have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didn’t need one. One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).

I had a very happy stay at this hotel, it’s showing signs of age but still perfectly acceptable, location was good for me as pretty central to access everything easily by Tuk Tuk. Pool area is very pleasant but sometimes staff absent so had to phone down, some good food deals and beer and drink available, some towels again showing signs of age so could do with being replaced. Restaurant on site and breakfast seven selection for all at $7 so good value. The staff as always in Cambodia are brilliant, I had good banter with the guys on the door and often bought them coffees and brought pastries for them. The coffee shop / stall offers coffees at$2.50 so good value as well and freshly made. The superior room was a god size, bed comfy and the shower was a good size and water was very good… I had a couple of small issues in the room but maintenance were in the room fixing it with 10 mins so absolutely fantastic. However the USB power sockets either side of the end did not work and could not be fixed so had to obtain an adapter as the UK socket would not fit the bedside outlets. I am returning in November and see no reason why I won’t stay here again, it’s a balance of value against facilities and this I believe is a great value for money hotel, yes there are fancier hotels ata much higher price and likewise there are cheaper ones that are definitely not up to the standard of this hotel. Enjoy your stay and please buy the guys a coffee and bring back a pastry if your out (they like the ones with custard in the middle lol)

This is a beautiful hotel where I had the pleasure of staying for 5 days in August 2026. The room is large and clean, and even if some might find the style a bit old-fashioned, I think it has its charm. The rooftop pool is superb. Breakfast is very good, and the buffet is plentiful. The staff are super friendly and professional, always smiling. The balcony is small but charming. The air conditioning is good and powerful. The bed is super comfortable, and it's sometimes hard to get up because it's so cozy! The only minor downsides are that there are sometimes odors coming from the bathroom, and the hot water is often lukewarm, as it seems to be everywhere in Cambodia.

The location is fantastic, right next to Central Market. Phnom Penh is a small city, so getting around to other parts of town by tuk-tuk only costs a little over a dollar, which is really convenient.

I arrived at this hotel around 12 noon. The reception staff welcomed me kindly. There were a few other people waiting in the lobby at the same time. They told us that the rooms were not ready yet and that check-in time was at 2 PM. I said okay and started waiting, but since I thought it might take a while, I decided to go for a walk. I explored the nearby streets, went into a market, did some shopping, and spent some time outside. When I returned to the hotel around a little after 1 PM, I noticed that the people who had been waiting earlier were gone—so I assume their rooms had been given. The receptionist told me that my room was also ready. Then a staff member accompanied me to my room, which was on the 5th floor. The elevator in this hotel only goes up to the 4th floor, so you have to take the stairs up one more level to reach the 5th floor. The room itself was quite spacious. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. However, the TV did not seem to have smart features—there was no internet connection or anything like that. It was supposed to show regular channels, but due to poor antenna reception, it barely showed anything. The channels were full of static and not watchable, so the TV was essentially unusable. The air conditioner was working, but I think the gas might have been low, because the cooling was quite weak. Still, it was enough for me. There is a safe box in the room, but it seemed to have been locked previously and could only be used with a key. I couldn’t use it with a digital code. There is also a minibar with various drinks, but I didn’t use it. I only used the fridge to store items I bought myself. I think having a fridge is quite important in hot countries like this—it’s definitely useful. Hot water was available without any problems. One of the best things about this hotel is its location—it’s within walking distance to tourist areas and central entertainment spots. Other than that, I didn’t notice any particularly special features. The building itself is quite old, and I could see that it’s somewhat worn out. Still, it’s fine for a few days’ stay. But if you are expecting something luxurious, you should probably look for another hotel. For breakfast, there is a set menu. During my three-day stay, I had the same set menu every day. It was pretty standard, nothing special. There is also a restaurant at the entrance where you can order meals, but I didn’t try it—I only had breakfast there. That’s pretty much my experience. If you ask whether I would stay here again, I’d say it’s not bad, but you might be able to find a better place for the same price if you look around. The price was around the market average—not too expensive, not cheap either. Maybe you can find something better for the same price, but I’m not sure. These are my thoughts about the hotel.
