This was the most pleasant surprise during my trip to Jinan! The hotel is located inside Daming Lake, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room had great natural light, the wet and dry areas were separate, clean, and odorless, and the amenities were complete. The staff were responsive and provided attentive and warm service. Strolling along the lake in the morning, you can fully immerse yourself in the charm of the 'Spring City'. It offers excellent value for money and I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Jinan.

The hotel's location is great; turn right out the door and you're at the moat. A 20-minute walk along the river takes you to Quancheng Square, and you'll find famous springs like Black Tiger Spring along the way. In the mornings, you can see locals filling up bottles and containers with spring water. The front desk service could be improved; they seemed sluggish and didn't smile. Housekeeping, however, was better than the front desk, especially He Lili, who was very attentive. The parking attendant was responsible and easy to communicate with. The room facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable for an older hotel. There are too few washing machines, and I suggest adding more.

After a long comparison, I chose this hotel due to its relatively close proximity to Daming Lake, Baotu Spring, and Jinan Railway Station. The room was really spacious, with a living room and two TVs. The decor looked quite upscale, and everything was very clean. They provided both reusable and disposable slippers, and there was also a mini-fridge, so it was well-equipped. Surprisingly, the towels and TV remote were all sealed in plastic bags, which I rarely see. The shower pressure was excellent. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was incredibly rich, with many local specialty snacks, and it was quite delicious. My kids kept praising how well I'd chosen this hotel. Sister Xiang, the server at table 4, had a wonderful service attitude. When I asked her about Qianfo Mountain, she patiently explained everything and even gave us a guide to various attractions. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to Baotu Spring, which shows truly thoughtful service.

The view from the Lakeview Suite is absolutely stunning! The room faces Daming Lake and Chaoran Tower directly. During the day, you can enjoy the beautiful lake scenery, the willows, and the painted boats cruising by. In the evening, you can comfortably wait for Chaoran Tower to light up, getting the best view all to yourself without dealing with crowds – it truly sets a fantastic mood. The room features a New Chinese design, and the floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake view like a dynamic painting. Step outside, and you're on a lakeside terrace that feels incredibly peaceful and therapeutic. The hotel is right inside the scenic area, so Daming Lake is just outside your door. Taking a walk in the early morning when there are fewer people is incredibly enjoyable. The service is attentive and thoughtful – it's definitely a hidden gem and a must-stay experience when visiting Jinan!

The second time I came to Xueye Lake, with the elderly and children, I still stayed at this hotel with peace of mind. Although the facilities and decoration have been around for a long time, my mother said that she likes this. And there is absolutely no formaldehyde, it is relatively clean and tidy, and it enjoys a view of the mountain and lake. When booking the room, please note the elevator. It is also very convenient for the elderly. It is recommended to have another wheelchair 🦽 It may not be used during the peak period. The staff in the lobby had a good attitude and allowed us to camp 🏕️, solving the problem of wanting to live well for the elderly and children, and young people can play. The only downside is that the air conditioner heating doesn't seem to work well. I am used to it. Just bring your own heating equipment when you go out.
