Hotels with Private Pool in Koh Samui

"This is a wonderful property. The rooms organized are very spacious and the showers are the best that I have experienced with the water pressure and the size of the shower. The bed could stand to be softer because it's doesn't have any cushion for the top level so it wasn't for the standards that I would like. A few issues I had was for the restaurant breakfast that there were no focused fans and it was very hot and humid even though it was in the open air. Sweating while eating breakfast dead 7:30 in the morning doesn't need to be that uncomfortable if they would put some focused fans would make such a difference. 2nd issue a parking attendant on the night of April 12th and 13th was not helpful at all, he sat at his chair and didn't guide where to park or assist with the traffic or parking, after I park my car and shut off the engine then he came to me and told me to move it forward more...why didn't he do his job when it required him to do so, plus he was not smiling (not polite for both my Thai partner and I). 3rd issue is regarding maid didn't change our sheet for our 3rd night. We put 4 pillows on the floor and stripped the bed cover before we left the room, so the maid can see the stains on the bed. We return to the room about 7pm and our bed was just cover it back up without changing the sheet plus non of the coffee items and bathroom items were replinished. Both of us enjoy this property location, view, pool, breakfast, all other staffs were very nice and polite including other parking attendant, except what we mentioned."

"1.Location Even tranport has been arranged hotel is little fr city center and activities there.Last transport fr city far too early.Taxi cost about 400 bath. 2.Restaurant is not cozy at all and buffe is only sufficent. Rrstaurant prizes are too high compared with city prizes. 3.Accomodation with pool is very attractive and good. Little detail is that bathrope and slippers are far fr comfortable.Bathrope is like it is used in prison and with slippers You cannot walk. 4.All staff is very friendly and helpful. 5 Many spots at hotel needs maintenance."

"Hotel with a beautiful view and a very nice private beach with access to a public beach. Clean room with all the necessary amenities. INCREDIBLE breakfast, the best I've experienced in all my vacations. We ate very well. The staff is very kind and always smiling, which is lovely. However, we tried contacting reception several times without success. They don't offer a free shuttle, and the location is far from everything, making it difficult, especially since taxis are expensive. The check-in process, on the other hand, was unsatisfactory. It was over in two minutes flat, with no information provided about the hotel's services, pool hours, restaurant, breakfast, or any other useful information. This information wasn't available in the room either. The pool and gym are nice. However, there was no Wi-Fi. Even though they gave us a code, there was no Wi-Fi in room 304."

"The resort has a beautiful vibe and the views are stunning. It looks like it’s in need of some good cleaning and maintenance, apparently it’s an older resort that got taken over by a new company last year, so maybe they need some more time. Pros: - beautiful views - good breakfast, almond milk available for drinks at breakfast and you can even order matcha! Excellent service. Vegan options in terms of food are present but limited. - staff is very friendly Cons: - Room smelled humid/moldy. The bed felt damp. - when I asked the receptionist for a dehumidifier or if there was something to do about it I got looked at weird and just got air freshener offered, which is past the point. - Room didn’t look clean (see photos) - mold and chipped off paint everywhere in the room - no gym or fitness area, yoga classes for 300thb an hour instead Keep in mind that there are lots of stairs without railings, so not ideal for children or elderly people."

"In the heart of Lamai the hotel is perfect, stretching between the town through road and the beach, the hotels pool is standout, utterly beautiful. The beach side massages are amazing, a must do. The rooms are a little tired but clean and tidy. After losing our booking, we were held at reception for an hour on arrival, while the recovered the booking that had been given to other guests, not the best of starts, but it must happen on occasion. Lamai was the right choice for us, loads to see and do, with rides out on the bhat buses to visit the other resorts. Would return to this location one of the nicest places in Thailand"

"Great location on the beach front, plus in the party area of Koh Sumai. Easy walk to cafes, restaurants, and bars. Many small shops for shopping, for clothes, bags, swimwear and much more, mainly set up for the happy tourists. Again, it is close to a shopping mall, with quite a few high-end retailers. The hotel is older but in reasonable condition. Our room was comfortable, clean. The bedding was ok, clean and comfortable. The restaurant on site was on the beach front, along with the pool. The food at the restaurant was quite good, with a good variety. The pool is dated but a popular spot for the guests. Our room had one problem, and that was a funky smell in the bathroom. It was quite overwhelming at times. The shower pressure was ok. The WiFi was ok. Staff were very helpful when needed. Bonus is able to rent motor scooters through the hotel. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"We were on vacation as a family of two adults and a 10-year-old child. We booked a one-bedroom villa with a sofa bed in the living room. Upon check-in, we were assigned a villa without a sofa bed. Instead, they offered to put a fold-out bed for the child next to us in the bedroom, which, in reality, wasn't very comfortable. They argued that the villa we'd booked was smaller than the one they were offering and that we'd be more comfortable there, even though they'd stated 120 square meters—which would have been more than enough. However, arguing was pointless, and we settled in with the option they offered. The villa itself is quite nice, stylishly designed, with a private pool and terrace nearby, and a covered porch with a dining area. Overall it's not bad, but I'd like to point out a few things in case it might be important to someone: 1) there's no microwave, so if you want to heat something up you'll have to use a frying pan and stove, which I don't think is practical. It would have been easier to install a microwave. 2) you have to track down and kill flies and mosquitoes with a fly swatter, there's no fly swatter that works from a power outlet, which would have been much more convenient. 3) cleaning is only available upon request, you can do it in the app, which I don't think is convenient because you have to do it in advance and partially take care of the frequency yourself. But the good thing is that we arrived exactly at the time we asked for. 4) the breakfasts are very basic, so if you're used to eating only eggs and like rice and pad thai in the morning, it's okay. The fruit options include Dragonfruit, watermelon, and sometimes pineapple—that's all. You can book something more interesting for an additional fee. 5) During our stay, construction and renovations were underway on the other villas in the complex, meaning the constant noise of machinery was a major distraction. On the plus side, I'd like to mention the friendly staff. They drove us to breakfast every morning in an electric car, and everyone was smiling and welcoming. The villas have a stylish design, beautifully maintained, and the grounds are well-maintained and beautiful, with plenty of greenery. The villas are cozy, with a private pool, jacuzzi, and bathtub nestled in the tropical gardens. The beds are comfortable, the interior is spacious, and the bathroom has everything you need. If you're not picky about the little things, this is a great place to stay. If you're traveling with children, a two-bedroom villa is definitely a better choice. Overall, it was comfortable. I recommend it for its value for money."

"The room was fantastic — big, clean, with a good interior and great materials. However, the bathroom does not separate the wet and dry zones. There is a big bathtub attached to the toilet. You have to shower in the bathtub and everything gets wet The hotel seems to be short-staffed, which affects the overall service quality. The staff seemed too tired, which is why they were not very friendly. there was a lack of coordination between the breakfast area and the front desk staff. The parking area was quite limited and narrow Even though I requested special needs through the Trip App. I did not receive them."

"The location was perfect! We especially loved the beach, as it felt secluded and private. The pool area was nice, a little dated in terms of outdoor furniture, however the pool was great. Not crowded & we pretty much had the pool to ourselves all the time. The breakfast was ok, perhaps more options for vegetarians, maybe have some cheese, but overall not too bad. The coffee were great!! My favorite thing each morning. The room wasn't bad, spacious & lovely sea room view. We ordered drinks at the bar, whilst at the pool, and they were terribly slow with our order. Happy hour not the best, only 3 choices , beer and two cocktails. When we ordered, they took 30 minutes to bring our drinks & got the order wrong. We returned it, saying it wasn't what we ordered & 5 minutes later, they brought out the same drink. 😅 we ordered a mango smoothie & they brought a chocolate milkshake... More English speaking staff would be better & they should step up their service level. Great location, as it's a 20 minute walk to Lamai market & the walk along the beach was nice in the morning after breakfast. A quiet hotel, but within walking distance to a more livelier nightlight. We had an early morning checkout & the hotel prepared a breakfast box for us, which was nice. Next time, we'll try another hotel in Koh Samui. It was our anniversary and the hotel didn't acknowledge our special occasion at all. The beach was priceless & that took center stage. Overall, we had a lovely stay, Thank you."

"Perfect location fr everything u needed.Greenery,clean area overall. Staffs all departments r very friendly which makes u feel welcome here.Room is spacious with comfy bed. The only drawback is the sound of aircon is quite loudly n difficult to adjust(compressor outside behind bath room as well,our room is shino type) For the noise frm beach club next door we didnt really hear it. Bf is quite on average nothing extra.Beachfront is very lovely,nice long beach to walk along. We had only 2 night’s staying here as a drop off frm Koh Tao but we love the stay at this hotel so much n think of make a new booking fr next yr already.  ps; some ppl might get irritated by noise of planes take on n off but that s just fine fr us."
