Jixiashan Meili Sunyata Hotel

What made Meili unforgettable for me wasn't just the blessing of the sacred mountains and the stunning 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' spectacle. A significant part of it was also the warmth and service from every staff member at Ji Xia Shan. No matter when or where, everyone I encountered greeted me not with a standardized, robotic smile, but with a genuinely bright and warm one. There was the unlimited supply of butter tea, the enthusiastic yet shy breakfast guy, the thoughtful and respectful housekeeper sister, the handsome young man on the fourth-floor viewing deck who taught us time-lapse photography, and the auntie who kept asking if we had enough food even after loading our breakfast plates... This wasn't just a place to stay; it felt more like a warm home. When we left in the car, everyone stood at the door waving goodbye, and for the first time, I felt an immense reluctance to leave a hotel, tears flowing uncontrollably. This trip not only received the blessing of the sacred mountains but also embraced the warmth of Ji Xia Shan. I believe these memories will support me through countless moments, inspiring me to strive for even better things. Tashi Delek!

I was very satisfied with this stay. I'd especially like to thank the staff here. My husband wasn't feeling well when we first arrived at this high-altitude area, and it was already very late. Less than five minutes after I sent a message, a staff member brought a thermometer and oximeter. They patiently helped us adjust the oxygen and followed up with us consistently. Really appreciate their help! 🥹

I've been wanting to visit Ji Xia Shan for five years, and I absolutely love the overall design style. It was just as I imagined, and the service was incredibly warm; everyone was smiling and friendly. The rooftop bar has little notebooks where you can write your own stories and read others' thoughts. It's a shame that it was foggy these past few days so I couldn't see the magnificent snow-capped mountains, but I look forward to seeing them next time.

I've had this hotel on my wish list for years, and I finally got to experience it! The location is absolutely perfect for capturing stunning photos of the 'golden mountain' (sun setting on the mountain). Both the facilities and the service are top-notch. It's been a long time since I stayed an entire day in a hotel without leaving, but this place makes it easy! The restaurant's food is also excellent. Very satisfied! 👍

Had a fantastic experience! A butler greeted us right off the bus, and every staff member was incredibly friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The best part was being able to see the 'golden mountain' (sun-kissed peaks) from our window. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel environment is excellent, and they even upgraded our room for free, giving us a direct view of Baima Snow Mountain! From the hotel terrace, we could also see Meili Snow Mountain. The butler was very attentive, providing a detailed introduction to the room and the hotel's facilities and services right from check-in. The afternoon tea was also delicious, and there was a good variety for breakfast. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Service: The butler contacted us a day before to confirm our arrival time. Since we were arriving late in the evening, they thoughtfully arranged for afternoon tea to be delivered to our room. We had two rooms booked for two nights, and they upgraded us to the Muyun King Room. Due to a sudden change in plans and a family emergency, we had to cancel one night, and the hotel staff handled the cancellation very smoothly. Cleanliness: Very clean. Face towels and toilet seat covers were provided. Environment: The hotel faces the Meili Snow Mountain directly. We enjoyed two days of the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' and also saw a beautiful starry sky. Both our room and the terrace offered views of the snow-capped mountains. Facilities: The humidifier, in-room heating, oxygen supply, and electric heater all worked great.

The room was spotless, and the 1.2-meter single bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were all warm and professional. The staff on the 4th-floor viewing platform, in particular, were outstanding; they taught us how to capture beautiful photos of the scenery. The butler service group was incredibly responsive. The hotel is located near the Wunongding viewing platform, so you don't have to brave the early morning cold to see Meili Snow Mountain; you can see it directly from the 4th floor. We were so lucky this time, from January 25th to 27th, we saw the breathtaking 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (Rizhao Jinshan) of Meili Snow Mountain for two days, as well as the 'Sunset over Silver Mountain' on the first day. The two documentaries shown at night, "Kawa Karpo" and "The Salt Road," were fascinating. The small gift we received upon check-out was lovely. However, the dinner selection was uninspiring, and the portions were small. For instance, the stir-fried Pipa pork with matsutake had very little meat and mushrooms, but a lot of green onions. I hope they can improve this aspect!
