If you're visiting with the goal of seeing all the historical sights, then this hotel is definitely the one to choose! The location is perfect, and you won't need any transportation; everything is within easy walking distance. You can stroll leisurely, sit in cafes, and enjoy ice cream on a bench in the shade. The room is tastefully decorated, all the furniture and fixtures are new, there's a large TV, a kettle, water, and all bathroom amenities. I particularly want to highlight the breakfast – it's simply amazing how delicious everything is! I wholeheartedly recommend it in Bukhara! Afterwards, you can shop at the central market, which is right opposite, and enjoy shashlik and pilaf at the cafe at reasonable prices.

I am so glad to have chosen this guesthouse. It was our best experience among all the other hotels. The owner, Iha, was so hospitable. The rooms were not big given that there were 3 beds but it was comfortable. The toilet was clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated too. I was having sinus problems and Iha made a pot of mint tea for me, complimentary. Very kind! He also took us on a tour to the Summer Palace. Som reviews has said it was difficult to locate. That’s because the entrance is facing a side lane. I am putting a pic here so that you can recognise how it look like as your taxi drive past.

Rustam the owner is very service oriented and arranged for our pick up at Bukhara Station.We had a very nice stay in his home which has ensuite bathroom in the bedroom. Dun expect hotel quality as this is homestay and with basic breakfast. It is a short walk in the mosque with 4 minarets and a 15 mins to the place where they are restaurants. Bukhara is an interesting city to visit but the food factor for Eastern Asian tourists like Japanese , Korean and Chinese food is lacking as with western cuisine though burgers and pizzas are not staple for western tourists. Overall , very happy stay with Rustam and will come back again

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the value for money. I'd like to highlight three things that stood out. First, the location is excellent for exploring the Old City. If you get too hot and tired while sightseeing, you can easily pop back to your room to cool down. Also, the room is spacious and clean for the price. Walking around town, I noticed everywhere that Uzbek people really value cleanliness. Finally, the staff's hospitality is wonderful. If you can speak a little English, they'll happily help you with various requests. Some might say the breakfast has limited options. But honestly, you'll be eating plenty of meat and fats out for lunch and dinner anyway. Perhaps it's best to stick to just fruit for breakfast. During my stay, a glass partition was installed between the toilet and shower, so the issue of a wet bathroom floor is no longer a problem. Lastly, whether you use Yandex or Google Maps, they tend to show narrow alleys that cars can't actually enter. This isn't just a hassle for the driver, but also means you end up walking from an inconvenient spot. It's best to just set your destination to the nearest bus stop to the Old City from the beginning.

The front desk staff were super friendly ☺️ The rooms and courtyard are also lovely! It's less than a 5-minute walk to Lyab-i Hauz. You can even call a Yandex (taxi) right to the front of the hotel, which is very convenient!

The overall experience was good, but the overall facilities are a bit old (perhaps this is the standard in Uzbekistan), and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The service attitude is polite but not very enthusiastic. It should be noted that you need to pay an additional tourist tax of about 50 RMB to get the small white receipt, and you must pay in cash, which is different from what was written on Ctrip. I am a bit speechless.

The sanitary conditions of the hotel are good, but it is far from the ancient city, especially the battery car in the ancient city of Buhari. At night, you have to go far to take a taxi outside the martial law point. There are many types of breakfast, but they are all cold food. Some hot food, I feel that the heating is not strong, they are all cold, and the taste is average.

I chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. Stop for two nights. The size of the hotel, room and the presence of the balcony played a significant role in choosing. No big claims for accommodation. There is a decent breakfast. The room is large, the balcony was present. However, the room is somewhat unthinkable and not too comfortable, as if under the hotel had been remade the room originally designed for something else. The furniture is modest. To the main sights you will have to walk on the not most scenic streets - no pleasure, especially at night ) Of course, it is always possible to call an inexpensive taxi. In general, the KMK price of $100 per night for this hotel is heavily overstated, Especially according to the measures of Uzbekistan.

The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.
