GGuest UserI stayed at Luxury Farmhouse Pai for seven nights in December. The property itself is genuinely very nice — the setting is peaceful, the design is well done, the photos are accurate, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You do get what you pay for in terms of the physical space and overall presentation. Where it fell down for me was the guest experience over a longer stay as a solo traveller. A lot of things felt overly procedural rather than personal. For example, being given breakfast vouchers on check-in and needing to present them every morning felt unnecessary after several days. It’s not a major issue, but it does change how the place feels when you’re there for a week. Breakfast itself was fine but basic — fruit, rice porridge, toast, and eggs. Perfectly acceptable, just not especially memorable. I also had ongoing issues with the Wi-Fi in my room. When connected it was fast, but it dropped out frequently, and I often had to switch networks or hotspot from my phone. Payments for extras were another source of friction. Card payments weren’t accepted for things like laundry, there was no option to run a tab, and when paying cash they often didn’t have change. These are small operational details, but over seven nights they became frustrating. The biggest issue for me was the scooter rental the hotel partners with. They required either a passport or driving licence to be held, plus a large cash deposit. That’s not something I’m comfortable with, and it’s particularly disappointing given how important scooters are in Pai. I rented from another shop in town that only required a copy of ID and a deposit, which was much more reasonable. The hotel is walkable to Pai town (around 20 minutes), though a scooter is recommended. I also wasn’t informed in advance about the shuttle service from the bus station, which meant I walked in with luggage on arrival. There was also noticeable noise at night from nearby music, which did eventually stop. Overall, this is a well-run and attractive property, and I can see it being a great fit for couples or guests wanting space and privacy. For me as a solo traveller on a longer stay, it felt a little disconnected, and several small but important details took away from what could have been a much better experience.

SSTANISLAV GERASIMOVWe stayed for 2 weeks in December-January. The bungalows are simple and small, but we were comfortable enough. It has a cozy, quiet, rural atmosphere, and it's a 5-7 minute scooter ride to the center. The staff were friendly and brought coffee and cookies every morning! There's a microwave at reception. On the downside: the water heater is old, and you only get hot water with very weak pressure, which is a big minus on a cold winter morning in Pai. Also, the walls need painting.

JJunjunjiedeyijianminsuThe room is the same as the picture. Let's talk about the inside first. The air conditioner faces the bed and you can't adjust the wind. It is either on or off. It is awkward to use. The wind is very strong. Another point is the noise problem. There is a bar near the door. By 2 o'clock in the morning, those who have insomnia will definitely become even more insomniac. It is very noisy and loud. The breakfast is still good.

VVaivkaIt was an amazing experience if you are looking to stay somewhere wild. It wouldn’t be great for anyone who doesn’t like nature or is scared of animals, but if that’s your thing, it’s perfect. The place is as tidy and clean as it can be inside of a clay house. The owner is really nice and helpful and the location is the most serene you will ever be. It kind of feels like you’re living in the jungle. It’s beautiful, you hear geckos, you might see a snake, there are cats meowing outside . It’s really peaceful, you can chill in the hammock all day but it’s also a walk away from town. And there is HOT water, which always feels like a luxury in these kind of places.

GGuest UserNice hotel with a great view and good location. A bit far from town but ok with your own transport. Hotel has no lift and many stairs which made it difficult for us with a baby. Also, as foreign family I’m really surprised the lack of cribs in hotels. Overall a decent stay.

MMs.mheiThis was fun for two of us,I used Bolt to book a ride going to this place it's about 7km from Pai bus station but sad they accept and message asking 300 baht for a ride but suppose to be 100 baht in the apps. So what we did Cancel them and rent a 🏍 for 150 baht for 24 hours, good deal!and fuel for 60 baht. -- The stay was comfortable. The hot spring was good for our body, so we enjoyed it. The breakfast was not stingy, and the tummy was happy.the place needed to be renovating

GGuest UserThe hotel lays quiet in a big green area but if there is a neighbor in the attached bungalow one can hear every word. Room and bathroom are big. The door should be from wood and not special glass. The breakfast is good, but when there is a buffet, very minimum choise, only good for Thais (no milk, no fruits, no meat), coffee in paperbox.

GGuest UserExcellent place for the price. It isn’t like some of the other places that are directly in town, but it’s like a 10 minute walk to get to the center of Pai. Kind staff and great amenities.

AAfroSaxonLovely retreat off the beaten track. Great location for quiet relaxing trip. Surrounded by lush greenery and mountain backdrop. The rooms are big and well decorated. There is a large swimming pool on premises. Breakfast was ok. Nothing too fancy: bread, coffee/tea, with boiled or fried eggs. Cereal also available with fruits.
