"Located about a 10-15 minutes’ walk from Pai’s walking-street, they offer a shuttle service if you want to avoid the walk. The hotel seems to have been designed as an upscale resort but have seen better days. The upkeep is lacking and aging is apparent everywhere. My room was spacious and comfortable and had all amenities you would find at a 4-star hotel. The bathroom had a walk-in shower that had strong signs of mold. It was raining a lot during my 3-night stay and every time it rained there was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom or right outside the bathroom window. The smell was so bad that housekeeping left the front door partially open every day after cleaning to air out the room. The outdoor areas have concrete paved walking paths across that are very moldy and in desperate need or a power-wash. My room was cleaned daily, towels replaced and water bottles replenished. Breakfast was rich with a lot of choices. Lots of fresh vegetables, fruit and a selection of cooked dishes. I let the kitchen know I was a vegan and they gladly offered to cook a special dish of vegetable fried rice for me."

"What an amazing hotel, I'd even call it a hidden gem! For the price, it's an absolute steal 🤌🏼 It's located right on the riverbank, away from Pai's noisy streets, yet still close enough (a 5-minute walk). It's incredibly clean, smells fresh, and everything works perfectly. I spent the whole evening by the river, watching the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen, and I'm so grateful to the hotel for providing such an opportunity ❤️"

"Honestly, 10/10 hotel! It’s so peaceful, clean and has the most beautiful views and amenities. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were lovely and if you didn’t want your room serviced, they would drop off fresh water, coffee, toilet paper and anything else you might need. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the hotel, otherwise you can borrow bikes or it’s a short walk to town when it’s not too hot. There is a really lovely restaurant within walking distance from the hotel who does amazing, very affordable food. We ended up extending another two nights as Pai was so lovely. Just up the road is a scooter hire company who is honest and fair; you can ride out to waterfalls, hot springs, lookout points for sunset and the white buda. There is also a little mini golf course within walking. "The location is good—away from the main street yet still within walking distance of everything. However, I was a bit disappointed, as paying $54 for one night didn’t feel worth it. It would be fine for a regular hotel at a lower price, but at that rate, the value didn’t match the cost. I understand it’s high season, but pricing should still reflect the overall experience. The property is right on the street, so you can hear everything passing by. The woman who checked me in was wearing pajamas, which I wouldn’t normally mind, but it added to the feeling that the stay wasn’t worth what I paid. Regardless, the view is beautiful from the room"

"The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the county town. A major convenience is that you can speak Chinese when calling, which makes communication very easy. The hotel is also home to many small dogs, and it's a unique pleasure for me to buy treats and feed them every time I stay. I'll definitely be back!"

"I stayed at Luxury Farmhouse Pai for seven nights in December. The property itself is genuinely very nice — the setting is peaceful, the design is well done, the photos are accurate, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You do get what you pay for in terms of the physical space and overall presentation. Where it fell down for me was the guest experience over a longer stay as a solo traveller. A lot of things felt overly procedural rather than personal. For example, being given breakfast vouchers on check-in and needing to present them every morning felt unnecessary after several days. It’s not a major issue, but it does change how the place feels when you’re there for a week. Breakfast itself was fine but basic — fruit, rice porridge, toast, and eggs. Perfectly acceptable, just not especially memorable. I also had ongoing issues with the Wi-Fi in my room. When connected it was fast, but it dropped out frequently, and I often had to switch networks or hotspot from my phone. Payments for extras were another source of friction. Card payments weren’t accepted for things like laundry, there was no option to run a tab, and when paying cash they often didn’t have change. These are small operational details, but over seven nights they became frustrating. The biggest issue for me was the scooter rental the hotel partners with. They required either a passport or driving licence to be held, plus a large cash deposit. That’s not something I’m comfortable with, and it’s particularly disappointing given how important scooters are in Pai. I rented from another shop in town that only required a copy of ID and a deposit, which was much more reasonable. The hotel is walkable to Pai town (around 20 minutes), though a scooter is recommended. I also wasn’t informed in advance about the shuttle service from the bus station, which meant I walked in with luggage on arrival. There was also noticeable noise at night from nearby music, which did eventually stop. Overall, this is a well-run and attractive property, and I can see it being a great fit for couples or guests wanting space and privacy. For me as a solo traveller on a longer stay, it felt a little disconnected, and several small but important details took away from what could have been a much better experience."

"Very nice hotel in the centre of Pai village. Super close to night market. Great pool to cool down. One negative thing - breakfast needs improvement as lacking taste and variety. Also no tea provided in the room."

"Same as others’ comments there are quite a lot of insects but it is normal for this town. It’s also the reason for us to choose the room on the second floor. There are only two staffs but they are nice and helpful. Good experience for sleep inside the mosquito bar 😆"
