"I stayed for 3 nights, and it was truly comfortable from start to finish. The room was spacious and clean, allowing me to relax completely. The breakfast, both in variety and quality, was highly satisfying and something I looked forward to every morning. The staff's service was attentive and pleasant, making my entire stay comfortable. The pool and the views were particularly amazing; spending time at the hotel itself felt like a luxurious experience. Honestly, I have absolutely no complaints. "Few minutes from the city , we had river view room which was spacious and functional. Short walk to walking street using the small bridge.
I wish it was prohibited to let group/families usng the grass to make bbq , set music and make noise (till 23:00) infant of other rooms."

"Honestly, 10/10 hotel!
It’s so peaceful, clean and has the most beautiful views and amenities.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were lovely and if you didn’t want your room serviced, they would drop off fresh water, coffee, toilet paper and anything else you might need.
They offer a free shuttle service to and from the hotel, otherwise you can borrow bikes or it’s a short walk to town when it’s not too hot.
There is a really lovely restaurant within walking distance from the hotel who does amazing, very affordable food.
We ended up extending another two nights as Pai was so lovely.
Just up the road is a scooter hire company who is honest and fair; you can ride out to waterfalls, hot springs, lookout points for sunset and the white buda. There is also a little mini golf course within walking.
We would definitely stay here and in Pai again!

"Nice small resort. Good vibe. Go for the larger villas facing the river. Price difference not not much. They are much quieter. The village villas are not villas but more like a cabin, so not sound proof and packed near each other. Breakfast is modest. Great friendly staff. Good Italian restaurant. "The room was very clean and spacious, and the swimming pool was also excellent. The owners were incredibly hospitable and provided superb service. The hotel grounds were filled with longan trees, and as it was longan season, guests were welcome to pick and eat as many as they liked."

"Same as others’ comments there are quite a lot of insects but it is normal for this town. It’s also the reason for us to choose the room on the second floor. There are only two staffs but they are nice and helpful. Good experience for sleep inside the mosquito bar 😆"

"Nice hotel with a great view and good location. A bit far from town but ok with your own transport. Hotel has no lift and many stairs which made it difficult for us with a baby. Also, as foreign family I’m really surprised the lack of cribs in hotels. Overall a decent stay."

"The room is spacious, the bed is large, and there's plenty of outdoor space.
The only downside is that it's very cold. The ground floor doesn't warm up during the day, and the floor is icy. Getting out from under the covers in the morning is a challenge for the faint of heart. The air conditioning doesn't provide heating."

GGuest UserI stayed at Luxury Farmhouse Pai for seven nights in December. The property itself is genuinely very nice — the setting is peaceful, the design is well done, the photos are accurate, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You do get what you pay for in terms of the physical space and overall presentation.
Where it fell down for me was the guest experience over a longer stay as a solo traveller. A lot of things felt overly procedural rather than personal. For example, being given breakfast vouchers on check-in and needing to present them every morning felt unnecessary after several days. It’s not a major issue, but it does change how the place feels when you’re there for a week.
Breakfast itself was fine but basic — fruit, rice porridge, toast, and eggs. Perfectly acceptable, just not especially memorable.
I also had ongoing issues with the Wi-Fi in my room. When connected it was fast, but it dropped out frequently, and I often had to switch networks or hotspot from my phone.
Payments for extras were another source of friction. Card payments weren’t accepted for things like laundry, there was no option to run a tab, and when paying cash they often didn’t have change. These are small operational details, but over seven nights they became frustrating.
The biggest issue for me was the scooter rental the hotel partners with. They required either a passport or driving licence to be held, plus a large cash deposit. That’s not something I’m comfortable with, and it’s particularly disappointing given how important scooters are in Pai. I rented from another shop in town that only required a copy of ID and a deposit, which was much more reasonable.
The hotel is walkable to Pai town (around 20 minutes), though a scooter is recommended. I also wasn’t informed in advance about the shuttle service from the bus station, which meant I walked in with luggage on arrival. There was also noticeable noise at night from nearby music, which did eventually stop.
Overall, this is a well-run and attractive property, and I can see it being a great fit for couples or guests wanting space and privacy. For me as a solo traveller on a longer stay, it felt a little disconnected, and several small but important details took away from what could have been a much better experience.

SSilverfootI stayed here for a few nights in November 2025. It is a family run business and the mother of the owner is normally the one that takes care of the place. It is located in the countryside and you can expect to see and hear chickens and other animals. While the cottages are a walkable distance (2km) from the town, you are much better off renting a scooter if staying here. The cottages are quaint, but not the best construction. You can see many places where the concrete walls are cracking. Also, sometimes the doors don't closes correctly, but overall, I found the place to be comfortable. The TV in the rooms is quite small and old, but they do have an HDMI port to use a fire stick with. The water pressure is good and the hot water heater works. The bathroom is small and everything is contained in one area so you will get the toilet and everything wet when showering. You can see a walk through review I did on youtube.

Happy in Pai Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for an extremely budget-friendly base right in the center of town. The location is the hotel's biggest asset, making it incredibly convenient for tourists.

You cannot beat this spot! It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee.

The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic.

A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends.

MMagic nature traveler ✨️A wonderful place.
Everything it' s beautiful and clean! It' s a paradise. We eat a nice meal on front to the river so relaxing and the owner and the guy at the restaurant are so lovely.
And to have a hot spring in that paradise oooh it' s something very rare and wonderful.
A part the bed that it was a bit to hard we don't have any complain and it was one of the best hotel that we had been here in Tahiland. We will be back 😊

GGuest UserIt is a nice place in General. But the staff do not speak English and at any case they call the owner and give you the Phone to talk. There is nobody at reception from the evening. At our Room on the second Floor there was an electrycity problem at night, the light was always bliking with the sound. So we could not use aircon, fen, fridge etc. It felt dangerous. It was on the whole Floor. We said it to the owner. But we were not sure that they would fix it, so next day we mooved to the 1st floor, where there was not such a problem. Byt the 1st Floor does not have such a beautiful View and aircon unfortunatly.
