Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after.
The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view.
As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience!
The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you.

PPaul and AmandaWe are a couple who stayed in a private pool room overlooking the ocean at Nest Sense for 2 days and we wish we had stayed longer. We loved everything about this hotel. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, and very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. Netflix, YouTube, Prime all available on the TV (TV was a bit small for the room size). Our pool was very private and clean with comfy lounge chairs. Great views, friendly and accommodating staff, and great food (we especially loved the breakfast!). Location was also great: short walk to the store, multiple great restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Would 100% stay here again!

GGuest UserIn general, a very well maintained and extraordinary beautiful hotel in a very remote location. The service was exceptional, hotel staff were extremely nice. Only one restaurant, though and the bathroom needed some renovation.

The transportation service is excellent; guests can inform the hotel where they wish to go, and the hotel provides travel times and shuttle services. There are also peacocks to admire.

DDmitriy Kozlov 38Overall, a good hotel! It's divided into two sections, a second line and a first line. The second line has a water park, two more pools, and our room, or rather, our bungalow. The room is good, and there's parking right in front of it. The first line also has a pool with a sea view. The restaurant is good, and the staff are polite. We had a few minor issues, but the staff resolved everything quickly. A special thank you for that! 🙏

A very cozy, clean, and comfortable hotel that makes you feel at home from the very first days.
The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the snow-white bed linen is a real pleasure to sleep in.
The air conditioning works perfectly — the temperature in the room was always comfortable.
Special thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for.
Honestly, I was almost in tears when it was time to leave.
This is a place you want to come back to again and again.
Stage Hotel is not just a hotel — it’s a feeling of comfort, calm, and warmth away from home.
We will definitely return ❤️

GGuest UserThe beach is the selling point here. A great walkout and sunset spot. The hut room we had was acceptable but had a slightly moldy aroma if the ac ever turned off. The bathroom was a cool concrete mosaic!
The breakfast was all right. The location is central and renting a scooter is convenient.

AAmideeThis hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood!
The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable.
It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat!
Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there!
The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming.
You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!

AAnonymous UserEverything you need is here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Truly excellent 👌. It's ideal for peace and quiet; if you want a lively atmosphere, this isn't the best spot. Taxis aren't right outside, but you have to arrange for one to pick you up (so it's a bit more expensive) than if you were at a busier location. You win some, you lose some 😄. The small beach itself is beautiful for photos, but swimming is difficult due to the many rocks. However, the hotel has a gorgeous swimming pool with all amenities (showers, bar, chill-out spots).
All in all, my stay at this hotel was a solid ten!
