Facilities: The room phone was consistently out of order, making it impossible to contact staff when needed. Hygiene: There was gecko droppings on the bedsheets, a clear sign that attention to detail is lacking. Ambiance: The hotel environment is beautiful, and I especially loved the swimming pool – I had a wonderful time there. Service: The service efficiency is very low; I had to ask twice just to get the bedsheets changed. The front desk staff also seemed unenthusiastic.

This is an excellent pet-friendly hotel with no strict weight or size restrictions for dogs. There's a large grassy area, and the beach right in front of the hotel has soft sand and clear water, making it perfect for families traveling with pets. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and there are plenty of activities. The food isn't expensive either. Our whole family loved it and we'll definitely be back!

Every time I go to Koh Chang, I stay here. It's great value for money.

The air conditioning in the room was so loud I couldn't sleep, and the breakfast was terrible. I stayed for three days and literally had nothing good to eat. They also charged an extra 275 per day for children. Other than those two issues, everything else was fine. I tried dinner at the hotel restaurant once; it was very expensive and not good at all, so I'd advise against eating there.

We had an unfortunate experience at the Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort. Upon returning to our room, we discovered that a chargeable can of soda was missing from the mini-fridge, along with three towels. Luckily, we noticed it in time and informed the front desk. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to clarify the situation during check-out. It would have caused a lot of trouble if they found missing items after we'd checked out, despite us stating we hadn't consumed anything. We later saw reviews for several other hotels where some guests had similar experiences. We were fortunate to have noticed it early and avoided being wrongly accused. The garden rooms at Centara are very far from the beach. The beach itself is small, and the seabed is rocky and uncomfortable to walk on. The beach chairs are often fully occupied. The hotel's price-to-value ratio is very low and doesn't meet the expectations for a beach holiday. The mysteriously missing soda and towels only make us question the hotel's management and service quality even further. If you absolutely must stay here, I strongly advise everyone to thoroughly check all chargeable items in your room upon arrival, preferably taking photos for confirmation. Also, take videos or photos when you check out. Always lock your luggage when you leave the room, and when you return, double-check that all chargeable items are still present to avoid any issues.
