EemilieQComfortable and clean, but most importantly, it's incredibly close to Myeongdong shopping street, just a 3-minute walk away. I highly recommend the executive floor rooms. While the breakfast and dinner at the club lounge aren't as varied as a typical buffet, they are more than sufficient and delicious. We left full every morning, and after a long day of shopping, we didn't have to worry about finding food. If I come back to Korea, I will definitely stay at Le Méridien Seoul Myeongdong again! 😁

GGuest UserOverall, our stay was great. The location is perfect, 4 metro stations, plenty of buses, a lot of cafes are near by. The room is pretty spacious, there was everything that you might need. The TV is smart, it’s possible to watch Netflix or YouTube. The room was clean, well-prepared. The check-in process is super fast, the staff is friendly. The WiFi was great as well, I joined zoom-call easily
There were two minor things that we were a bit dissatisfied about: 1) the AC doesn’t have a night mode so it’s hard to adjust it, it’s either cold or hot.. we struggled. 2) we wanted to dinner at BBQ restaurant at the hotel, which works till 10pm as was stated at Ad. However, we came at 9, it was already closed, they said that the last order is at 8:30.. which is rare.. usually last order is 30 min before closing. So we left hangry.
Anyway, the hotel is great, we would definitely come back and recommend all friends.

GGuest UserI booked my visa quite late, so the price during the May Day holiday was a bit high. However, I have to say the hotel's location is excellent. It's only a 5-minute walk from City Hall subway station, and the surrounding bus stops are also very convenient, with suitable transportation to any shopping district. The airport shuttle bus stop is also within a ten-minute walk. There's a Starbucks and a CU convenience store downstairs, and many snack shops nearby, including the popular BHC fried chicken. The room isn't huge, but it's very clean, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The front desk is on the 11th floor and is equipped with a water dispenser and laundry room. All in all, for everyday travel, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to Sinsa Subway Station, and if you stick to the main road, there's no steep hill like some photos online might suggest.
It's right next to Seoul Forest, and you can walk to Apgujeong in about 10-15 minutes. There's also a three-story Olive Young just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which is super convenient! While the rooms aren't huge, the soundproofing is pretty good, and the shower water pressure is absolutely fantastic!
If you stay here, definitely make sure to check out the cafe on the top floor – the views are amazing. Overall, highly recommend. (Pics 1 & 2: Hotel rooftop cafe/bar. Pics 3 & 4: Views from the room)

AAndyC9999Upon check in, we asked for a 2 twin beds room, without even checking by the staff, I already heard no. Then she asked me for my credit card, didn’t even mention how much limits she gonna hold. Anyway.
During the stay, there were zero turn down services. I called and asked why and I was told that we had to request for it. First time hearing this from a Fairmont. Totally disappointed. The bathroom lights were flashing (a bit scary at night), light bulbs had to be replaced I guess, called someone to come take a look. Didn’t expect they didn’t even offer a room change. So I guess they came in to fix the light while we were out.
On the day of checking out, I called to request for a late check out. Without checking, rejected me. I had to ask again and got an extra 30 mins. Standard check out time is 11am, which is already ridiculous, got extended to 11:30, what a joke. Will never stay here again and might even stay away from all Accor hotels.

GGuest UserThe room is incredibly spacious, easily accommodating two people on one bed. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plus a large bathtub, and all toiletries are well-stocked.
The hotel is super close to Sookmyung Women's University Station, with no stairs to climb, making it very convenient if you have large luggage.
There are tons of food options around the university, whether you're dining alone, craving hotpot, or BBQ. Nearby, you'll find Olive Young and SPAO, perfect for tourists. There are also many photo booths and cafes. Basically, the area feels like a local residential neighborhood, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in everyday Korean life.
The hotel service is also excellent! They offer luggage storage, and when I asked for an extra blanket, it was brought up very quickly. They also do simple trash disposal and cleaning daily.
They also offer a three-hour driving tour of Seoul. I didn't have time to try it this trip, but if you're interested, you can inquire at the front desk.

WWENZHU WUThis hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, tucked away in a quiet spot in Chungmuro. It's also only a 10-15 minute walk to Myeongdong shopping street. The rooms are equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and a large refrigerator, making it easy to manage laundry even on longer trips. Downstairs, there's a GS25 convenience store and plenty of local restaurants, perfect for a late-night snack or grabbing breakfast.

MMisa93The location is good if you want peace, since it's close to Bukhansan National Park and not city centre. The room is very spacious, but the cleanliness was so-so. I found someone's hair on the bedside table, and the tiles in the bathroom weren't very clean. I guess it's what you get for the price. If you're a budget traveller, it's a good choice, if you want something more, look for other places. But the view was amazing.
