We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it—especially if you’re traveling with kids. The service was great and incredibly attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly taken care of. The hotel is super kids-friendly, with an amazing kids’ room on the 5th floor that our little ones loved. The location couldn’t be better for families: Lotte Adventure World is literally around the corner, which is perfect if you’re traveling with kids aged 3 and up. The subway is also close by, making it easy to get around. We loved the convenience of having two malls connected to the hotel, filled with excellent restaurants and coffee shops. The breakfast was also a highlight—plenty of variety and something for everyone, whether you’re craving Asian or Western options. The gym and spa pool were super fresh and well-maintained, a great bonus for some downtime. And did I mention the service? Truly outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back.

it’s all about the location. the hotel is in the heart of Myeongdong area. if shopping and street food is your reason to visit Seoul, stay here. the staffs are okay, they are polite. the room is clean, modern, and spacious just enough for a convenient stay. almost no view from the window , though - there’s another building blocking the view. i like the coffee and tea corner, and the neat bathroom. though i do think that it is a bit overpriced. overall rating: 8/10.

Polite front desk staff! They can speak and understand simple English which is a plus though I can understand a little Korean. Room was clean and quiet. Very good soundproofing except if someone talks and walks past your room. Otherwise, you can’t hear anything from your neighbours. Only bad thing is the lighting. So you got to draw the curtains in the morning if you want to do your makeup properly. Oh they have adapters at the front desk!! Did not see it and was charging my phone in the toilet. The electrical points at the desk is not good for your cables! 😅

Hotel service is nice and sweet, all the staffs are pleasant, English fluent, suitable for foreigners to stay. Room is nice and comfortable. Slept very very well. Prime location next to Hyundai mall. Will definitely come back again

Overall, a nice experience and offered good value for money. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing with a nice design throughout, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The main drawback for me was the location. While technically in the city center, the hotel is situated uphill, which made the walk to and from the nearest subway station, Dongguk University Station, a bit tiring. It's not a severe issue, but if you plan on relying on the subway and walking a lot, be prepared for a minor climb. Additionally, there isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants, so you'll need to venture out for meals and entertainment. The hotel boasts two swimming pools, which is great, but it's important to note that a standard hotel guest only receive free access to the indoor swimming pool. Access to the other pool and the sauna facilities is an additional charge, which was a little disappointing. On a very positive note, the gym facility is excellent. I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast as it was not included with my room reservation. I inquired at the reception, and the price was quite high—around KRW 64,000 (USD 45) per guest—which I felt was rather expensive for a single meal. The most significant issue affecting my comfort was the poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear guests talking next door, and conversations from people walking in the hallway were also distinctly audible. This definitely detracted from the peace and quiet one hopes for in a hotel room, especially at night.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient and easy to get to, whether you’re traveling by public transport or car. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the view from my room was absolutely beautiful.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Manu. It’s centrally located, very close to the Seoul station for both subway and airport railway. It is also a short walk to Myeongdong. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfy and very warm :). The brekkie was sensational with a different menu each day. They do the best cappuccino! Overall, I had a great stay and highly recommend the hotel.
