Amazing
HHuaziwawaI didn't get to book the Lake Seat I had been dreaming of, which was a bit of a pity, but everything else was almost perfect. After all, luxury can't be measured by cost-effectiveness. I tried to stay in the hotel as much as possible, but time was still too tight. I will come again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful memories this night brought us.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel maintains top-notch standards even in a small location. The room was surprisingly clean with exceptionally high ceilings, Netflix, and excellent soundproofing. Upholding JAL's sophisticated style, the restaurant host was a distinguished, handsome older gentleman in a suit.
I initially wanted to give a perfect score, but we waited 15 minutes for breakfast on the first day, and an astounding *hour* on the second day! Moreover, the breakfast area was incredibly crowded, with narrow aisles and tiny tables where our elbows almost touched the next table – very uncomfortable. I hope the hotel can open up a larger space during breakfast hours, as waiting until after 9 AM to eat breakfast can really disrupt a traveler's daily plans.
AAnonymous UserRedeemed with a Trip.com room voucher, this onsen hotel is definitely worth a stay. It's right next to the pier, beautifully decorated with a distinct Ainu style. The buffet was delicious, far exceeding my expectations, and every fresh-squeezed juice at breakfast was delightful. The only minor point is that the room interiors felt a little dated.
DDellIt was not entirely clear at time of booking whether I would be assigned a dorm bed and arrived prepared to be so assigned. I believe the situation is the dorm is reserved for group reservations so you normally be assigned a private room with shared bathroom. This made the room a great value and a memorable stay.
TTutusThis was the most anticipated part of our entire trip, and it certainly didn't disappoint!
#Hotel Location: Excellent. It's right on the hot spring street, and behind it is the pier for lake boat tours (Happy Boardwalk).
#Hotel Service: They upgraded us to a large suite for free, and the view was absolutely fantastic. I loved the suite's layout, amenities, and the smart toilet. The outdoor hot spring faces the lake, and the male and female baths rotate at different times, so you can try them all (っ˘ڡ˘ς)♨️
The buffet was also good, and we additionally ordered a red king crab which was delicious. You can book many activities and experiences at the hotel. There's an outdoor shop called Siri on the first floor of the hotel where you can book activities like hiking and lake tours. My friend and I booked the night forest light show at the front desk. The only thing worth complaining about is how ugly the hot spring robes are – absolutely no desire to take photos in them!
GGuest UserVery good location. Reasonable price. It's a great location for catch train travelers. You can pick your deposited baggage form Train station, go and back in 10 minutes.
LLizchen SunLarge hotel, not new (or we had a room in the old wing) furniture is very worn, but everything is clean, great view of the lake from the room. On the roof is a warm good area with onsen and a warm pool on the roof. The buffet is delicious and varied both for dinner and for breakfast.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very near Akan lake. The room is clean and spacious with beautiful scenic view of the lake and mountain. It’s worth value of money.
MMackey119It was conveniently located near Kushiro Station, so I stayed for one night. The room was modest and neither good nor bad, but there was no air conditioning, only a fan. Fortunately, it was cool outside on September 16th, so I was able to solve the problem by opening the window and turning on the fan, but I wouldn't recommend staying there in the middle of summer, like August.
