Great
GGuest UserI had an enjoyable stay at the Staybridge suites in Cardiff. I had a good size room with amenities such as all kitchen needs etc. Good lighting in the room and bathroom, shower had two head options, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is available and topped up regularly..even 10 mins before ending. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and attended to our requests promptly. There is a car park on site however, it does get quite filled up by the end of the night so it is first come first serve. Overall, a very nice stay.
GGuest UserBooked room with walk in shower and large bed. First room had interconnecting door shower over bath and double bed. Second offer of a room was a disabled room still with just double bed. Then found out that all rooms only have double bed with shower over bath. Staff were very helpful but didn’t tell us upfront so we wasted a lot of time. In fact we didn’t have enough time to eat before we had to leave for our event. So finally we had to have a snack at 11:30 when we returned. Even then we had to go out to get it as room service is only available via an app
LLiyah,s reviewWe stay in Cardiff for a few nights. Got the sea view. The view was amazing. We had breakfast on bed. Many choices of food to get for breakfast.
Bathroom have a bathtub which is nice 👍🏼
GGuest UserThis is our third visit to this hotel. Our room was on the third floor, accessible via the lift and overlooked the waterfront. Comfortable, spacious and very clean. Parking cost £10 for 24 hours which we thought was reasonable. It’s an easy walk to the Millennium Centre for shows and events and everything else that Tge Bay offers. Staff are always friendly, especially check in staff and the lady who hosts breakfast. Breakfast is great with plenty of food and a good coffee machine. We particularly liked the care and attention from the lady who hosts breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble.
CCHEI WAI GRACEThe apartment is very clean and convenient. Walking distance to the nearby supermarket and restaurants. It’s only 3 minutes drive to the University of Cardiff.
BBethSaidSmileStayed one night. Not sure if because of renovation, the reception area wasn't very welcoming, pretty much self check-in set up but staffed too. Busy hotel, popular pool, gym, need to wait your turn for sauna & steam room but Impressed with facilities. Room service food was basic. The room definitely need updating and shower pressure not great. Overall fine though, would stay again.
GGuest UserThe hotel was nice, as it has a lovely swimming poo, so na and steam room. Very few chair for relaxing in the pool area, some people were sitting on the floor with their towels. Breakfast was the same with bit of change in their biscuits cereal. Bad side for food is that they offered scamble eggs only, fried and pouches eggs and omelette they charge for them.
It was my first time at the hotel or in Cardiff, it was Xmas even they seem kinda busy check in was suppose to be 3oclk but when we got there room was not ready and the receptionists were just cool about that, had to go to the desk and ask constantly which s boring.
The hotel is clean but I think their cleaning management is not up to standard, I had missing items in the room, like towels and next day I had to ask for handwash gel 100 times as it was not replaced. If you book with them maybe get yourself a suite room unlike just an ordinary room. It is a 4 star hotel was expecting a lot from them.
GGuest UserLocated in the middle of the city centre close to castle and local attractions. Unfortunately room backed into a night club which played music till 4am. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. Other then that lovely place.
