Dr Massey NazarianIt was generally a good stay. The only two issues I had this time were:
1- The shower drain was almost blocked. It took me ages to take my shower as the water was about to flood and I had to clise the water and wait for it to be emptied before I could open the water again.
2- the was not enough toilet paper.

Guest UserThis hotel was absolutely perfect! Me and my daughter booked this hotel to see Louis Tomlinson at the Utilita. It was perfect location. 10 minutes from the train station, 5-10 minutes from the arena. There is also a lot of night life so we managed to find a nice place just across the road to have some food and drinks. The room was lovely too! We had two double beds so we managed to sleep very well after the concert! Will definitely stay again if we have another trip to Birmingham!

Everything is good , but the shame is the hotel not providing any slippers for the customers. Other than that everything is perfect location, entertainment. Cinema and bowling within walking distance.

Good location for visiting NEC, but far to go Birmingham city centre.
Good for parking, take your discount code from reception. You have to pay for your parking at the beginning of your stay. Pay machine is in entrance hall.
Heating/air conditioning on the wall in room was noisy.
Breakfast was very basic.
Room has iron and ironing board.
Staff pleasant and helpful.
Property overall and room was clean.

Guest UserAll staff were excellent always very helpful, facilities need refreshing hotel needs sprucing up, gym equipment tired and ripped Pool small.
Chairs in the bar area either dirty or broken, very busy hotel trying to be too many things to too many people. Tried to book Spa on Saturday or Sunday both full.
Breakfast basic to say the least.
It was a shame, as once again the staff made our stay.

Really impressed with our stay at the Holiday Inn at Birmingham. Great location as it next the train station and city centre. Pleasant and polite staff and reception area with lots comfortable chairs and sofas to chat in. We had a twin room which was large with comfortable beds and a huge tv screen. The dated building from the outside does not reflect the fresh and delightful furnishings inside. Fully recommend.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously.
Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it.

ACGRExcellent establishment, this is my second stay in a year. It's well-located, the staff are very welcoming, and the studios are well-equipped. Plus, there are shops nearby, allowing you to be self-sufficient. Don't hesitate to book – I'm definitely coming back to this hotel next year!

JSTWComfort Inn Location is great, just next to Birmingham New Street train station and within 3 mins walking distance to Birmingham China town, so plenty of restaurants and cafe surround this hotel.
The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower.
Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price
