This was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

The whole homestay is very stylish. The whole house is clean and there is no smell. Toiletries and home appliances are all complete and easy to use. The space is spacious and the lighting is good. The hygiene is particularly meticulous. The bed is soft and sleeps well. The night is quiet and not noisy. The housekeeper will reply to the message quickly. There will be demand in time. Help Check-in and check-out process is simple and worry-free. The evening healing of Songxuan is the biggest surprise of this trip! The low and empty sound slowly resonates the whole body. The tight shoulder neck and fatigue all dissipated. After the end, the body and mind were light and sleeped that night. The experience was full. I really recommend it!

The room is quite large, and the side cover has a view from both sides. It uses a Dyson hair dryer with many plug configurations, dry and wet separation, and the hanging area is also very spacious. The courtyard is decorated in a Chinese-style courtyard style. The butler will contact you in advance before checking in. There are shuttle buses to take you to the scenic spots, which is very convenient (you can go climbing in the Dongpo Pavilion next to it). The attitudes of the front desk and butler service staff are very good. , our children were given motion sickness stickers because they were afraid of motion sickness. The back door of the hotel is Yada Town. It is very convenient to eat and drink. There are many check-in points. There are many performances during the Mid-Autumn Festival. I like it. The breakfast area will be perfect if it is upgraded. Will go again if I have the chance

Springtime arrived in beautiful Yixing, and the fresh air, stunning scenery, and relaxing time made everything so wonderful and pleasant. Sanpin Yunlai Inn is located in the Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient town of Yulongtan, a somewhat abandoned scenic area with little commercialism, primarily offering guesthouses. It's said that the buildings here were rebuilt from folk houses in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces, and upon closer inspection, they are quite historically significant. The living room of Sanpin Yunlai Inn, where we stayed, is a traditional Qing Dynasty building, originally designed for a third-rank official, with carved beams and painted rafters. Combined with the owner's artistic interests, the blend of ancient and modern styles is very natural. The guesthouse felt very homey and casual, offering tea, conversation, watching TV series, karaoke, games, and card games – everything was available. We even tried fishing with the owner and actually caught something, which was quite satisfying. There are many restaurants nearby, so you can try them one by one; the food is all quite good.

The hotel is huge and impressive, with many young and enthusiastic staff. The room is spacious and excellent in every aspect! There are plenty of shuttle buses, and many tickets were provided, which made the kids incredibly happy! I must highly praise the hotel's outdoor swimming pool! We visited on a weekend in early September, and backstroking while looking at the blue sky and white clouds was simply amazing! The water temperature was perfect, not too cold nor too hot, and the kids absolutely loved it! You can also use the pool for free even after checking out! The weather was a bit hot during our two-day stay, but the clouds were incredibly beautiful and stunning!

The hotel staff provided exceptionally good and warm service. Before check-in, I was worried that my parents might disturb each other in a twin room (my father has asthma and night coughs), so the hotel butler kindly added an extra bed in the living room, perfectly addressing my retired father's preference for sleeping alone. Knowing it was my birthday, the hotel and restaurants decorated the entire place, and the hotel even gave me a cake! A wonderful surprise! The hotel restaurant service was also top-notch. Thank you to the lovely ladies at the Italian restaurant for bringing a special cake for my dog ​​with kidney problems – so thoughtful! The breakfast staff even brought the food to my table – the service was truly amazing! Throughout my stay, the butler service was prompt. There were three minor drawbacks: 1. Upon check-in, I noticed a beeping sound in the room. The maintenance staff arrived immediately and explained that the sound was from a device used to detect occupancy because there was no card for power. The sound couldn't be fixed. However, the sound disappeared after turning off all the bedroom lights at night. 2. The hotel lacks some small activities; most are expensive, such as paddleboarding. Given the hotel's somewhat remote location, I suggest adding more recreational activities. 3. The hotel still charges 100 yuan per hour for fishing even when guests bring their own fishing gear. I've seen other guests' reviews mentioning this; given the accommodation standard at this price point, shouldn't the fee be more flexible? The hotel has its own underground parking lot and a wedding banquet hall on the first floor. The hotel is soundproofed and had a good night's sleep in Yixing. The hotel has its own design and decoration style. There are four-star quality but some small shortcomings, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated, and there is a separate bathtub. But there is no wardrobe, there are hanging hangers instead, and the room layout is still a bit compact. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, the category is completely enough to eat, and the taste is good. I don't know why the hotel corridor and room have a milk smell 😂 haha

The front desk lady was quite welcoming and patient, but here are some complaints. On our first day, the hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired. First, the tea leaves from the previous guest were still in the teapot, still warm (though we didn't use them, leaving them on the coffee table was a bit unacceptable). Second, the cups in the room hadn't been cleaned, with obvious stains from the previous guest's coffee or tea still dried on the sides (we usually bring our own cups, but we inevitably used them, which was quite disconcerting). I thought they'd be checked and cleaned the next day, but they still weren't. After our two-day stay, the room wasn't even cleaned or replaced after cleaning on the second day. Luckily, we brought our own, otherwise it would have been embarrassing to find out there was no paper when we went to the bathroom. 😅 Since the hotel also caters to restaurants, leaving the windows open after check-in is not recommended. There's a restaurant next door, which is loud with music during the day and smells of cooking smoke. My personal recommendation is that if you're traveling by car to Yixing, choose a hotel close to the city center. Most scenic spots are in the suburbs, and you'll need to take a taxi or drive anyway. There's no need to choose a suburban location for a one-time visit. Eating out is also inconvenient, and you'll usually have to drive over 20 minutes to the city center. The city center is more convenient for those who travel back and forth.

Got downgraded and the downgrade was justified as an ”upgrade” ,I suggest the property clearly states that they do not accept black people on their property to avoid such interactions! . I booked a room on the 4th floor but the lady at the reception gave me a room on the second floor. I went downstairs again to confirm she gave me the wrong room providing pictures of the room I booked but she kept insisting that there are no such rooms on the property, she insisted they do not exist on the property and rooms on the 4th floor don't look nice. I insisted she put me on the 4th floor like my booking. All to find out she was lying. The rooms were much nicer! Spacious and with a beautiful view. I don't understand such behavior. Very disappointed!

The original Kaifumen Hotel has been renovated. Due to the newly renovated hotel in the city, the facilities are relatively late and the safety factor is also high (you need to swipe your card to go upstairs, and the food delivery is also done by a robot). The room is all intelligently controlled by Tmall Elf, and the cleaning is also relatively good. Just outside the door is Dingshan Ceramic City, which is the first choice for guests who like purple clay pots.
