DDioYJThis was my favorite hotel on our ten-day trip around Taihu Lake. It boasts an exquisite, secluded style, emphasizing a return to simplicity without the need for smart technology. There are no TVs in the rooms, and the curtains are all manual, with keyless entry. But every step was filled with breathtaking beauty. The service was exceptional. The housekeeper asked for our arrival time in advance. We parked in the parking lot and took the electric cart up the mountain. However, since my mother had mobility issues, the cart took us directly to the elevator and even assigned us the room closest to the elevator. The housekeepers were incredibly kind and friendly, smiling every time they greeted us. Since we were staying for several days, we decided to skip housekeeping, so we hung a sign saying ”no housekeeping required.” The housekeepers waited at the door until the housekeeper confirmed we needed towels changed and items replenished. They were incredibly attentive and responsible. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and every dessert was delicious. We didn't want to waste any, so we devoured all three desserts each day. The next day, we were too lazy to go downstairs to the restaurant, so the housekeeper even brought them to our room. The room also included tickets to the Yixing Ceramics Museum, which you could spend a whole day exploring. Besides the history of ceramics and collections from different dynasties, the room also boasts a beautiful museum. There are also numerous works and manuscripts by Gu Jingzhou, which are well worth a visit. However, the museum is quite old, and only one side has an elevator. Some sections require walking up and down stairs, making it difficult for those with mobility issues. During osmanthus season, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the air. Nearby, at the entrance to Longbei Mountain, there are dark-colored osmanthus trees, which are incredibly fragrant. Conversely, at the windy Tao Erchang, apart from the UCCA building and a handmade jewelry shop by an independent designer, everything else exudes an internet celebrity vibe and a cheap feel. It took me five minutes to explore. The only downside to the hotel is the small rooms. I think there are 17 rooms, averaging around 40 to 50 square meters, but it certainly didn't feel cramped. Even when the hotel is full, it's still quiet, perhaps influenced by the surroundings, preventing noise. I'll definitely be back.

The Chinese restaurant is very delicious, and our family of three ate until they were full! The complimentary fruit drinks and snacks are also loved. The breakfast variety is a little less, but there will be a waiter to serve and pick up the food, which is very considerate! I will stay here again when I come to Yixing in the future!

The stay also includes exquisite afternoon tea and Songxu healing experience, meditation in the mountains and forests, immersive healing of all fatigue.

It uses a Dyson hair dryer with many plug configurations, dry and wet separation, and the hanging area is also very spacious. The courtyard is decorated in a Chinese-style courtyard style. The butler will contact you in advance before checking in. There are shuttle buses to take you to the scenic spots, which is very convenient (you can go climbing in the Dongpo Pavilion next to it). The attitudes of the front desk and butler service staff are very good. , our children were given motion sickness stickers because they were afraid of motion sickness. The back door of the hotel is Yada Town. It is very convenient to eat and drink. There are many check-in points. There are many performances during the Mid-Autumn Festival. I like it. The lobby, with its red brick dome, was incredibly well-designed. A special thank you to our concierge, Tiffany, who communicated with us in advance to confirm details. Despite being pregnant, she was still diligently at her post, meticulously and thoughtfully explaining the scenic routes. She was both gentle and professional. GGuest UserThe hotel has its own underground parking lot and a wedding banquet hall on the first floor. The hotel is soundproofed and had a good night's sleep in Yixing. The hotel has its own design and decoration style.
There are four-star quality but some small shortcomings, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated, and there is a separate bathtub. But there is no wardrobe, there are hanging hangers instead, and the room layout is still a bit compact.
The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, the category is completely enough to eat, and the taste is good.
I don't know why the hotel corridor and room have a milk smell 😂 haha

3320660****The front desk lady was quite welcoming and patient, but here are some complaints. On our first day, the hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired. First, the tea leaves from the previous guest were still in the teapot, still warm (though we didn't use them, leaving them on the coffee table was a bit unacceptable). Second, the cups in the room hadn't been cleaned, with obvious stains from the previous guest's coffee or tea still dried on the sides (we usually bring our own cups, but we inevitably used them, which was quite disconcerting). I thought they'd be checked and cleaned the next day, but they still weren't. After our two-day stay, the room wasn't even cleaned or replaced after cleaning on the second day. Luckily, we brought our own, otherwise it would have been embarrassing to find out there was no paper when we went to the bathroom. 😅 Since the hotel also caters to restaurants, leaving the windows open after check-in is not recommended. There's a restaurant next door, which is loud with music during the day and smells of cooking smoke. My personal recommendation is that if you're traveling by car to Yixing, choose a hotel close to the city center. Most scenic spots are in the suburbs, and you'll need to take a taxi or drive anyway. There's no need to choose a suburban location for a one-time visit. Eating out is also inconvenient, and you'll usually have to drive over 20 minutes to the city center. The city center is more convenient for those who travel back and forth.
