Hotels with Parking in Yan'an

Was fine, but a bit out of the way, even cab drivers said as much. The family running this homestay were nice and attentive, and were more than happy to drive you out to nearest bus stop every day. If you want to stay in a traditional cave dwelling/yaodong, this is a good choice. I will say that I had a bit of an allergic reaction there to the bedding though, so if you have sensitive skin, it may not be the best. It was very clean though and well furnished, and was very pretty on the interior. I do think on the whole it added to my sense of what it was like to live in Yan’an and a greater feeling of experiencing history rather than just reading about it.

I had a booking and was already checked in. Around midnight, I received a call asking if I was staying at the hotel, which woke me up. Then, past 1 AM, they arranged for new guests to check in right next to my room. This scared my child and me in the middle of the night! The front desk couldn't even explain the situation clearly when I called them. I couldn't get any sleep the entire night!!

The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The lighting in the room was bright. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was nice to see the chef cooking dishes fresh, not just serving pre-made food. The Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was delicious, and there were also noodles and rice vermicelli options. The only thing missing was coffee, but they did have steamed buns and congee. The biggest plus is its proximity to the train station, just a 5-minute walk. This is very convenient for travelers with a lot of luggage. It's also easy to get to Baota Mountain, as there are several bus lines right outside the hotel entrance.

The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and uniquely decorated with a distinct Shaanbei local touch. The owner has transformed the courtyard into a vibrant oasis, bursting with colorful flowers and lush fruits. Its delightful, refreshing fragrance creates a serene atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The homemade dishes were delicious. My only minor suggestion would be if the breakfast could offer more variety to better suit different tastes!

Environment: It's a genuine cave dwelling. Because it's located in a village, the journey is a bit rustic. The owner called ahead to remind us, which made the experience more enjoyable and allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty. Hygiene: It can't compare to a hotel. Being right outside the door, it's dusty and there are bound to be some insects. Those with a strong aversion to dirt should be cautious and avoid this option. Facilities: The owner has done a great job. Everything you need is there, showing care and attention: smart controls, TV stand adjustment, fresh air system… Service: A big thumbs up to the owner – a man of few words but decisive action, clear thinking, and strong execution. No wasted words, just keeping his word. After seeing so many insincere smiles and empty pleasantries from the service industry on the road, this owner is a breath of fresh air. We booked the Hanting Hotel for our trip to Hukou Waterfall with our child. The room was clean and bright, the bedding was so comfortable that our child fell asleep immediately, and the heating was so strong it felt like the warm sunshine of northern Shaanxi had been brought into the room. Surprisingly, the hotel had a screen mirroring feature, which was very nice! There's a local food street downstairs, and the hotel breakfast was quite good, with noodles and steamed buns, which our child enjoyed very much. The lobby was spacious and airy, making it a comfortable place for our family to wait for our bus and relax. Our comfortable stay made the view of Hukou Waterfall even more spectacular! Especially considering its proximity to Hukou, it's the perfect hotel for a trip to Hukou.

The room is very spacious and clean, very close to the night market, a minute or two walk, the surrounding is convenient, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the front desk lady is very friendly and enthusiastic, you can report to the Hukou Waterfall group, because I am alone, it is more convenient. There is a lot of food in the night market. The local one has this Li Lao Er spicy sheep hoof. The taste is okay, and this noodles are suitable for me.

This is an old hotel; the lobby looks nice, but that's about it. What we needed were comfortable guest rooms. Overall, the room facilities were outdated. The first room was dimly lit upon entering, as it relied on auxiliary lighting; only one of the spotlights was working. The door lock was broken. We called the front desk, and they said there were no rooms available but we could change rooms. After we asked to go upstairs to check, they said we could change rooms. The second room was better lit but still dimly lit. Our child said it felt very oppressive and uncomfortable. We thought we'd just make do. My husband wanted to boil water to sterilize the kettle, but found that the kettle plug had only two prongs instead of three, and the socket was broken. We moved it to another location, but it was still broken. For safety reasons, we had to put up with it. We finally got hot water for our child in the lobby the next day after checking out. The experience was terrible!

Very good location, nice fancy hotel. I strongly recommend to book a room on Trip in advance, because the prices are higher, if you book at the reception. Shops and restaurants nearby.
