This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

I absolutely loved this hotel, my overall stay was incredibly impressive! The front desk service was excellent, and the staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. The hotel environment was clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a wide variety of delicious food options nearby, making dining incredibly easy. I especially enjoyed having a local market right downstairs; it added such a vibrant, authentic local atmosphere and allowed me to truly experience the daily life and charm of Shantou. Overall, I truly felt at home, and the value for money was excellent. It was a very pleasant stay! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shantou.

This hotel is hands down the best and most affordable one I've stayed at during my week in Shantou. First off, the location is super easy to find, right by the main road. Plus, parking is a breeze and it's free, which is a huge bonus for female drivers like me. The front desk lady even gave us two complimentary breakfasts! The room itself was brand new, the TV had screen mirroring, and the shower pressure was fantastic. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to hotels, but honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with this one. You can book it with your eyes closed. If I ever go back to Shantou, I'll definitely be staying here again.

This guesthouse I booked for my trip to Shantou was an absolute gem! It really added such a wonderful, happy vibe to my whole trip. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it – the decor has a lovely retro Republic of China style, with solid wood furniture and really comfy bedding. The room was super clean, and the location is just unbeatable. Being able to step out and find food, drinks, and entertainment right downstairs was so convenient. We could just pop back to the room for a rest whenever we got tired. The owner also recommended some fantastic local spots: a beef hotpot place, late-night congee, and Zhenping Guozhi (rice noodle soup) – all incredibly delicious! I've already recommended this guesthouse to my friends; it's truly worth choosing!

The room is a loft, and the interior design is quite good. As soon as you open the door, there's a large floor-to-ceiling window offering views of Shantou Bay and Dahao on the opposite shore, with the Haigang Bridge to the left. The toiletries provided are of decent quality. I checked in on a Friday during a normal week, and the value for money was pretty good. There are electric scooters downstairs that you can rent by scanning a code, allowing you to travel quite a distance. It's only a few kilometers from here to MixC Mall, the ferry, Longyannan, Xiaogongyuan, and Zhujiang Road. Oh, and two breakfasts were included too.

This time, I brought my child along, so I decided to stay in the county town. First, let's talk about the location. The B&B's location is excellent, with free parking available. Although it's a short walk, it's manageable. Right downstairs, you'll find various restaurants and bubble tea shops. It's practically the Houzhai CBD, very convenient. The only minor drawback is that the hot water is very slow; it takes a long time to come on. After communicating with the owner, they explained that the pipes are long, and you need to let the cold water run out before the hot water arrives. Now, let's focus on the B&B's hygiene and service. The B&B is located in an older building, but the rooms are all new, and the hygiene is exceptionally well-maintained. It's clean and odor-free, which already surpasses many B&Bs. Furthermore, the attention to detail is excellent. Right outside your room on the same floor, the owner provides various daily necessities (dental floss, rubber bands, hair clips, razors, makeup remover wipes, etc.). So thoughtful! Regarding service, the owner led us to the parking lot on an electric scooter. We hadn't checked in yet, and the owner helped us transport our luggage to the B&B. When we checked in, our luggage was already in the room. My child had hives and scratched their skin until it bled a bit, getting some blood on the sheets. I proactively asked the owner if I needed to pay a cleaning fee, but the owner didn't charge anything. What a generous gesture! The off-season price is also very affordable. Overall, for a 207 RMB B&B, I'd give it a 90 out of 100. The 10 points deducted are in hopes that the owner can improve the hot water facilities. We'll definitely come again if we have the chance!

Found a gem in Shantou! Staying at the Bamboo Rhyme National Style Hotel is so healing ✨ Who's still blindly searching for hotels in Shantou?! I extended my stay at this DIOTEL Chao Hotel for two nights straight, I just didn't want to leave! 👍 As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by bamboo 🎋-themed decor, a perfect blend of national trend and new Chinese style. The turquoise green hues look fresh and clean, while the vintage wall lamps and landscape murals create an incredible ambiance. Every photo you take here turns out beautifully! The room space is huge, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide amazing natural light. Sunlight softly streams in through the sheer curtains. Just flopping onto the sofa with a hot drink is incredibly relaxing 🍵🫖. The bedding is super soft, and the mattress firmness is just right. After a long day of exploring Chaoshan and trying snacks, my legs were aching, but I just laid down and slept soundly until morning! When I had some free time, I even got to experience making intangible cultural heritage Red Peach Kueh (Hong Taoguo) ♥️ by hand: kneading the dough, filling it, and pressing the patterns – I did it all myself. After it was cooked and steamed, I brought it back to my room, truly immersing myself in the local Chaoshan vibe! I absolutely loved the small round table; it was perfect for laying out all the local snacks I bought to slowly enjoy. Plus, thoughtful details like a makeup mirror and smart devices are all provided, making for a worry-free and comfortable stay. To all the ladies visiting Shantou, just book this place with your eyes closed! The environment is quiet and so aesthetically pleasing. No regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay! 花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有！ My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room. It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness. Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible. Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need. Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!! All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in. The location is very convenient for getting around, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. My stay was very comfortable, and I'll definitely prioritize choosing this hotel again for future trips.

Exceptional Stay – Panorama Sea View Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple. The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay. The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.
