Hotels with Breakfast in Shantou

This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Zhujiang South Road Food Street. If you're heading to Nan'ao Island by public transport, bus 161A is about an 8-minute walk away. Tianshan Beef Hotpot is also within an 8-minute walk. Even going to Longyan South Road or the high-speed rail station, a taxi ride is only around 10 yuan. The front desk staff were very helpful and answered all my questions, even allowing me to have a late check-out until 1 PM. The room's cleanliness was decent. The facilities are up to the usual standard you'd expect from a Ji Hotel. But the best part was how quiet the room was (it didn't face the main street), which allowed me to get a great night's sleep. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shantou.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a lovely fragrance. I asked the front desk staff, and she told me it was a Longjing tea scent. The service was excellent; each room comes with two complimentary coffees and a mini-bar. After checking out, we realized we had forgotten a backpack for our next leg of the journey. The front desk staff braved the rain to deliver it to our car – we were so grateful! The facilities are comprehensive, clean, and hygienic, and the hotel is conveniently located next to a food street. Highly recommended!

The hotel is wonderful, the service, the interiors, and literally everything. BUT. There are a few annoying little things: a corporate video with a song constantly plays in the elevator and lobby, and after several uses a day, it literally gets stuck in my head. It irritates me that someone is recording songs in my head without my knowledge. The light controls in the room are very inconvenient - they are very bright and turn on by themselves with the slightest movement. The bright light at night disrupts my sleep, and it literally irritates and infuriates me when it is constantly on. I am also irritated by the TV, which turns on every time I enter the room. I don't like any unnecessary details that disrupt my focus and distract me. I have to spend an extra action to find the remote and turn it off. Also, during cleaning, the staff throws away my disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste every day. This is yet another unnecessary action that I have to do to brush my teeth - open a new package, open a tube of toothpaste, and do this every day.

Exceeded expectations in every way! I was a bit worried at first since it was our first time staying in a local hotel in China instead of a big chain hotel, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. We were warmly greeted by the staff, who explained everything we needed to know, and they were very considerate and helpful throughout our stay. The service was professional, and the cleanliness of the place was excellent. If you’re looking for a place within walking distance of the old town cultural area, this is absolutely the place for you!

This hotel is hands down the best and most affordable one I've stayed at during my week in Shantou. First off, the location is super easy to find, right by the main road. Plus, parking is a breeze and it's free, which is a huge bonus for female drivers like me. The front desk lady even gave us two complimentary breakfasts! The room itself was brand new, the TV had screen mirroring, and the shower pressure was fantastic. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to hotels, but honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with this one. You can book it with your eyes closed. If I ever go back to Shantou, I'll definitely be staying here again.

Honestly, the service was pretty mediocre, especially the laundry room attendant. She was incredibly chatty and constantly interfered with guests' personal matters. She told us not to dry our clothes for too long because they'd get damaged, then returned them before they were even dry – it was really baffling. Everything else was just okay.

My kids love the room and it becomes one of the great memories in shantou! The host is responsive and responsible and very helpful. It's very good experience staying there and enjoy the great services.

I arrived in Shantou on the 16th, and for the first two days, I stayed at a hotel on Zhujiang Road (which I won't comment on). On my way to the Zhujiang Road food street, I saw this hotel. I specifically canceled my previous booking to stay here, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! I immediately extended my stay. The staff at check-in were warm and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised with a free suite upgrade. The value for money is exceptional; the price was even better than my original hotel. The hotel environment is elegant, the decor has a high-quality feel, and the room was very comfortable. Housekeeping service was prompt, and any requests were handled efficiently, making me feel cared for at every turn. Both the hardware facilities and the soft services are impeccable. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

No regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay! 花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有！ My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room. It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness. Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible. Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need. Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!! All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

I'm a regular guest at this hotel. The hygiene needs improvement, especially in the hard-to-reach corners. The room is quite comfortable and offers great value for money. It's about a 10-minute walk to the food street where you can sample Chenghai delicacies like braised goose, which is really delicious.
