I stayed at two resorts in Chongzuo consecutively this time, and based on the price, they are basically the top two in the local area. The first one I arrived at was, how should I put it, a bit like an 'unfinished knock-off,' and the price and experience were somewhat disconnected—though considering how remote this place is, it was somewhat understandable. But as soon as I arrived at LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi, the contrast was immediate: from the moment I stepped through the door, I was immersed in a true resort experience, on par with top-tier resorts in the Maldives. The architectural aesthetics are spot on, the environment is serene and stunning with picturesque views at every turn, and the fresh air is invigorating. Butler Doris took care of everything from check-in to check-out, being attentive, thoughtful, and responsive to every request, truly making us feel at home. The dining quality was also high—exquisite, delicious, and very much to our taste. Special mention goes to the wine selection: well-stocked and reasonably priced, something many high-end resorts fail to deliver. The guest rooms offer expansive views, and the characteristic experiences are abundant. Slowing down here to unwind was both healing and cozy. Far from the hustle and bustle, quietly enjoying the landscape and time—this was a truly worthwhile understated luxury getaway, highly recommended.

1. **Room Upgrade Satisfaction:** I booked a 4-day, 3-night stay this time. Since it wasn't peak season, the hotel upgraded us to a suite, which was beyond satisfying! The suite faced lush green rice paddies, absolutely beautiful! Even without going out, just lounging in the hotel room was incredibly comfortable. The suite was fantastic! 2. **Hotel Service Satisfaction:** Because we stayed for an extended period, we sometimes needed extra water, an iron, or even mosquito repellent. The hotel even provided ointment for mosquito bites, which was far beyond our expectations. My husband and I both highly praised it; such meticulous and warm service can only come from professional management! 3. **Hotel Restaurant Dining Satisfaction:** We had an outing almost every day, and whether it was a trendy restaurant, a farmhouse eatery, or something else, the food was always just average. So, we decided to try the hotel's Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. After eating at the Chinese restaurant, we decided never to eat out again. We dined at the Chinese restaurant opposite our suite for every meal, and not a single dish was repeated, nor did any disappoint. On our last day, which was the Mid-Autumn Festival, they even gave us a mooncake to sample. Because we were so full, we asked the staff if we could pack it up, and to our surprise, seeing there were two of us, they gave us an extra one! This was truly beyond expectations! 4. **Hotel Facilities Satisfaction:** The hotel itself is a popular scenic spot – ”Dao Na Li” – featuring beautiful rice paddies, banana trees, a small river, coffee, and more. In the mornings, staff leading cows would pass by the rice paddies; in the evenings, the hotel had a small bar illuminating the starry rice fields. My husband and I both agreed that the hotel's design was very professional and thoughtful, showcasing meticulous design and excellent aesthetics everywhere! 5. **Hotel Travel Photography Satisfaction:** We booked a travel photoshoot on our last morning within the hotel grounds. The travel photos turned out so beautiful, we were very pleased! Finally, I want to thank a few hotel staff members I can name: Xiao Zhen, Xiao Li, and the entire team who served us, whose names I might not recall. Thank you very much for your service; you left us with a very impressive and wonderful impression in Chongzuo! After returning, we've been recommending this hotel to everyone we meet. We're so satisfied, and we've even agreed that if we get the chance, we must go back and stay at this hotel again. Just staying at the hotel, relaxing and enjoying afternoon tea (oh, and they even provided free afternoon tea), was wonderful!

The best thing about this place are the owners. Full of initiative and kindness, I am very appreciative of their initiative services. For example, they asked if I already had transportation for my next destination, then how much I was quoted. Then they said that was a fair price if it was right to the hotel, to just check and verify if it is so. This is a very helpful guidance for out-of-towners. The room is clean, and after 4 days of travel in the area, it is the only one that doesn't have any lingering smells of cigarette smoke. It is hard to find rooms like these, including rooms that claim to be smoke-free. The view from the room is great and it is nice to watch the birds fly over the border river. Birds are not constrained by fences. Bottles of water are provided, as are disposable towels, which I'm not a fan of, as well as soap, shampoo and so on. There is no separation of wet/dry areas, but slippers are provided. You may not get the best photos in such a homestay, but it is functional and practical, and everything works well, drainage and so on, which is more important. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

I saw some mixed reviews about Yuexiang Biancheng online, and I was a bit hesitant at first. But after staying there myself, I realized it offers really good value for money. The hotel entrance looks quite ordinary, but once you get to the backyard, it's a completely different world. I was especially pleasantly surprised when they upgraded my room. The room was spacious and comfortable, which significantly enhanced my stay. All the hotel facilities are well-maintained. They have all the essentials for long trips, like a self-service laundry room (with dryer) and a self-service gym. It's very practical to be able to do laundry and stretch a bit when you're tired from traveling. The backyard also offers a lot to do. You can cool off in the spring water pool, and in the evening, there's an outdoor garden cinema where you can watch movies with the mountain breeze, or even invite friends for a BBQ. Compared to many hotels in the same price range where you're mostly confined to your room, here you can truly relax and unwind even without leaving the hotel. The environment is quiet, and it's very close to Detian Waterfall, making it convenient for sightseeing. Despite the varied reviews online, experiencing it firsthand was the most reliable. This is definitely a place to consider when visiting Detian Waterfall.

The stay was exceptional! We booked two rooms, both of them were with a great view and spotlessly clean. The rooms were on the last (6th) floor and we had also an access to a beautiful terrace where we could relax and enjoy a stunning view. Most of all we liked the host who was very helpful and kind, he helped us to book a transfer to Chongzuo (260 CIY) and met all our requirements. The breakfast was a typical Chinese one: delicious noodles, eggs, vegetables, steamed rolls. Just a kind of advice is to add more seating facilities, sometimes it's crowded during breakfast. Our family of three visited Mingshi Garden during the summer vacation. As we prefer hotels over guesthouses, we chose Mingshi Villa. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right within the Mingshi Garden scenic area. The owner must have put a lot of effort into building this hotel back in the day. A significant portion of the unrenovated rooms (ethnic-themed rooms) are indeed quite old, but four buildings have been refurbished into more functionally designed deluxe garden view rooms (though at a higher price). Overall, the hotel offers good value for money. Even some of the better guesthouses in the area cost around a thousand yuan, but their facilities can't compare. Mingshi Villa's parking, shuttle service, restaurant ambiance, food quality, and service awareness are all things guesthouses can't provide. I hope the hotel continues its efforts to renovate all the older room types. Integrating the resources of Bieyuan and Yajun would definitely allow it to compete with high-end resorts like Changliu Mountain House.

Great Location, as Visitor Center, Mingshi Tourist (明仕旅游度假区游客中心) and most attractions meeting point was just right in front of the hotel. But need to walk 3mins to the main street to enter the compound (Big Carpark). There were street night markets and mostly selling food. Rental of bikes and bicycles is right on the street too. The reception and service crews were helpful and friendly. The room was big, neat and clean with great view (Room 306). Overall : Happy Stay

Hey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

It should be a better hotel in the town. The boss also helped me buy tickets at the distribution center the next day. I stayed there for two days. The area around the hotel is quite lively and there are many places to eat.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
