Detian Xinyi Hotel

Shuolong Daxin|1.02km from China-Vietnam 53 Boundary Pillar
The selling point of the hotel is its good location. Especially during the holidays, choosing to live here is really super convenient. Let’s not talk about the cost of the shuttle bus, but you don’t have to wait in line to enter the parking lot of the shuttle bus. When I came out near noon, I drove out and saw that the cars waiting to enter the visitor center were all out. The owner of the hotel is nice and enthusiastic. He went out and queued up to buy us tickets early in the morning. The room size is okay, I booked a room with a balcony and a standard room. They are all very clean. The balcony room is nice, and the overall feeling is better. Ordinary standard rooms are worse. First of all, the windows cannot be opened. It is nothing if you open them. It is the walls of other people's homes. At night, the air-conditioning water often hits down and ticking. The water flow in the bathroom was average, but better than expected. I suggest the boss to install a shelf on the wall of the bathroom sink and put a cup and towel. I bought more than a dozen on Taobao, not much money. This is much more convenient, otherwise the bathroom doesn't even have a place to put toilet paper. The bed in the standard room, don't move, it will creak as soon as it moves, but it will not affect the use. The air conditioner is pretty awesome. In the house, mobile phones with Unicom numbers are automatically transferred to the Vietnamese network, and the time is automatically slowed by an hour. With mobile phones, this problem does not occur. There is a costly parking lot downstairs. If you come at the right time, it seems that you can stop by the side of the road, but it is safe to park in a regular parking lot. It's still very careful to see what Sister Che checked. All in all, it is a good choice to live here, you can go in early in the morning when there are few people.

Guicun River Hotel

The hotel itself is fine for a short stay. The location is excellent for the entry to the waterfall park, BUT you need to travel approx 20km back along S325 (X538/Yanbian Highway toward Nanong/Fujiao on Google Maps)to obtain entry tickets. Our rooms were clean, the beds (Chinese) firm and, lo and behold, the plumbing accurate..ie the cold and hot signs on the mixer taps were correct. I have marked down the services simply because there were few to be had and our rooms were not serviced after our first night. When my daughter queried this with the front desk the reply was that we did not request the service. Similarly facilities are marked down because they consisted solely of a bedroom, albeit very roomy BUT highly expensive for a hotel with so little to offer. There were no food services, neither breakfast nor dinner, availble for our visit, and none within walking distance - unless you fancy walking a county lane in the dark. The hotel suggested a small village approx 3kms along route S325. However parking here was 20RMB no matter your length of stay. This village is also the entry point to the waterfall park where you should be able to buy tickets - but the machines would not work for our Chinese citizen and would not accept foriegner details. We eventually drove approx 8km back past the hotel to the next village along S325 (X538/Yanbian Highway toward Nanong/Fujiao on Google Maps) that had open restaurants - sorry name of village not available but the food was excellent..local river fish. Apologies but I actually forgot to photograph the locale and rooms etc. Frankly I cannot recommend this hotel unless they develop their services to provide adequate restaurant facilities.

S WONDER RESORT

Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

I saw a lot of places to live on the Internet, and I decided to choose this one when I saw this praise. This inn was opened by the villagers near Detian Waterfall. The accommodation room was clean and hygienic, mainly because the boss was very good and very warm and simple. It is inevitable that there will be some unexpected situations during the trip, and the boss is very enthusiastic to help us solve them. When I came to the store, my friend found that there was no place to cook, and said how to eat. After we went out and came back, the boss actually bought the stewed chicken and came back. He planned to cook for us by himself. We were very surprised and cooked with the boss. Later, we also went to the boss's house to pick some fresh vegetables and make four dishes and one soup. Finally, before leaving, the boss's mother came to send a large box of yellow peel fruit. It was really rare to meet such a simple and enthusiastic boss when I went out. I liked the boss and came to give the boss a good review~. Finally, I hope that the boss's business is booming and the financial resources are rolling ~

The boss really couldn't find the way and picked me up. Just turn the corner in the Kapok complex. The floor tiles are bright, the water is clean, the homestay in the village is very cost-effective. In addition, I think the name of Mingxuan Mountain Villa does not match the truth. Detian Waterfall is worth it.

In the town, there is a gas station opposite, and there are restaurants and small supermarkets a little further away. Very clean, about half an hour drive from Detian Waterfall, the Spring Festival peak season is a good choice for the price.

The room facilities are basically acceptable and the service is very good. You can eat downstairs, the food is good and the price is reasonable. In the morning, the proprietress personally cooked the egg noodles, let us taste it for free, taste good, and finish it all. Overall it is good. Detian Waterfall is also very beautiful.
