We went on a family trip with both young and old. We booked a family suite with two bedrooms and one living room. The room was very large, 90 square meters, with a tatami coffee table, and it was also a great viewing area. It was really refreshing to sit here and drink tea in the morning. The restaurant downstairs of the B&B was delicious. The owner also carefully prepared a lot of folk activities for us, such as making glutinous rice cakes, bamboo pole dance, etc. My mother enjoyed it very much.

A family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop. Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car. The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious. Although it's a B&B, the scenery is picturesque, with mountains visible above. The service is comparable to a five-star hotel, parking is convenient, and the swimming pool is also nice, 1.6 meters deep. I didn't want to leave after staying there for two days.

The best experience of a two-day trip to Chongzuo is to book this hotel. The room has a yard that has a Southeast Asian holiday feel. If I had to offer a suggestion: The washing machine in the bathroom isn't very well utilized. Most elderly people don't change clothes often, and even if young people bring enough, they won't use it. The fact that the washing machine raises the sink and requires a foot pedal is even more inconvenient. Furthermore, the hotel's soundproofing is poor, so the noise from the washing machine would definitely disrupt your rest. This is a very good B&B, much more cost-effective than the nearby Changliu Mountain Villa. Flanking Mingshi are the Secret World and Changliu Mountain Villa.

I booked two 'Morning Mist' rooms, one on the 4th floor and one on the 5th, and they absolutely live up to their name. Waking up in the morning or at dusk, looking out the window, you're greeted by an expansive, lush green landscape. The 4th-floor room boasts a small balcony, ideal for capturing stunning photos of the surroundings. The 5th-floor room, with its enormous window, lets you soak in the magnificent views right from your bed. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a 10-minute walk to the Mingshi Pastoral bamboo raft ticket office and boarding point. It strikes a perfect balance, being central enough for convenience yet offering a pleasant sense of peaceful seclusion. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the space is quite ample.
