TTheotoroAll hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony

WWanderfieVery nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes.

CChunleitamInterlaken is a popular transit hub in Switzerland, and this hostel is right next to Interlaken Ost station, making the transportation super convenient. It's also massive, the largest hostel I've ever stayed in.
I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm. The room space was decent, but there were no privacy curtains, which meant privacy was just okay. You have to make your own bed, and when checking out, you also need to strip the sheets and take them to the front desk. There weren't enough power outlets, and the one at my bunk was broken. The room has a sink, but no private bathroom; you have to go to the shared facilities on each floor for the toilet and shower. You need to pay a deposit for a hairdryer.
The ground floor of the hostel is a restaurant. There's no kitchen or utensils (they only provide disposable cutlery for a fee), just a pantry (on the 2nd floor) with tables, chairs, a kettle, and a microwave. The hostel offers breakfast, which is a real luxury in high-priced Switzerland! There's a large Coop supermarket opposite the hostel (and the station).
The staff weren't overly enthusiastic, and while it attracts travelers from all over the world, the overall atmosphere was just average. However, its excellent location makes it a worthwhile place to stay.

맂맂으The hotel is very close to Interlaken West Station, which made transportation very convenient. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained. The owner was also very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The price was very reasonable for the quality and location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Switzerland next time. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Interlaken!

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
Rooms are comfortable but a bit on the small side, and some amenities like a fridge would have been nice.
Overall, a very good stay — convenient and reliable base for exploring the area.

GGuest UserThis is a traditional 4-star hotel with an excellent location, very close to the train station and a supermarket. You can even catch a glimpse of snow-capped mountains, especially beautiful at sunset when they glow golden. The ice cream shop across the street has really delicious ice cream!

We are so grateful to Hey Hotel for saving our holiday in Switzerland! We had originally booked an Airbnb (to experience stay in a house) near the interlaken west train station. Upon checking in, to our horror, the flat is so disgustingly dirty and smelled rotten. Not only that, there was roadwork in front and the security to the unit is also lacking. We immediately booked our remaining stay at Hey and our trip was saved! The service staff, a bespectacled gentleman, gave us a free check-in early in the morning and upgraded us to the best room for 4 — no qn asked! We have clean room and best view. The breakfast has amazingly good spread. And at a much cheaper rate than the Airbnb which offered nothing but burnt spice, dirty broken toilet and sticky, greasy flooring.

PPolo27Amazing stay at Chalet Swiss. Located less than 10 min away from the Interlaken West station places it at a very convenient location.
The hotel, while abit rustic, which is evident by the fact that there’s a leaking issue in the main building on the day of check in. This means that all guests will be moved to the other building which is also under the hotel. On the bright side, I got an upgrade due to this, so not complaining! The rooms are also in good condition.
Breakfast is a simple continental buffet, which while nothing special, is satisfactory.

AAnonymous UserStayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
