TTheotoroAll hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony

TtowardssunLoved it! It was my first time staying in a hostel, but the environment was surprisingly nice and clean. There were even older guests staying there. The best part is its super convenient location right next to Interlaken station.
My favorite part was making my own bed; it was fun and felt like a nice ritual. We also got lucky and had a four-person dorm all to ourselves for two nights! 🤣
Oh, and the breakfast was excellent! Especially considering how expensive everything is in Switzerland!

The breakfast is standard, and the dining environment is good. Snow-capped mountains, churches, cherry blossoms, green trees...
The hotel is in a great location. Going out to the left is the main street, where you can eat and shop; going out to the right for a few minutes is Interlaken East Station, which is very convenient to go to Jungfrau!
PS: The paragliding gathering point is just across the road from the hotel, which is very convenient.

WWanderfieVery nice design hotel, new and spacious, but what it’s lacking is the warmness of the staff. Only the new girl working there is pretty nice, the rest of the staff has lukewarm attitude. The first room I got was nice, they gave me a double bed instead of a single bed that I booked but upon enter, there was a pair of socks hanging on the toilet door. Called the housekeeping and they removed it but also realised the room is very hot, but AC is not adjustable as it is centralised. So they gave me a fan instead. Later at night I also realised it was pretty noisy as the alfresco of the restaurant is right beneath my room. And then the toilet shower is broken. I tried calling the reception and housekeeping at 9-10pm but nobody pick up which I assumed it’s probably not 24hrs service. I bear with the broken shower. Next day morning I asked to change the room to quieter one but I need to get all my stuff out by 11am which I did. I went to the reception and told them about the broken shower, with no apologies, the guy just say ya ya, that’s an easy fix. I’m still glad they changed the room for me. But like I say still hope for a better service with the money I paid. Also not enough hanging area in the bathroom, especially when the first room I got… no hanging area at all, so can’t hang towel or clothes.

The room has a kitchen, but the facilities are dated. It wasn't cleaned during my day away, so I had to take my towels to the front desk for replacement. The breakfast was decent.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located right outside the station. The room was a bit small, and honestly, for nearly 3,000 a night, it felt comparable to a 300-yuan hotel back home. But all hotels in Switzerland are expensive, so there's not much you can do! The room was reasonably clean, and through the window, you could see the snow-capped mountains. The scenery in Interlaken is absolutely stunning! So beautiful, it makes you forget about all the compromises!

We enjoyed excellent hospitality and service on our first day in Switzerland. The room was well-appointed and quiet, and we rested thoroughly. It was a wonderful hotel in every way, and a truly enjoyable stay. It left a wonderful first impression and lasting memories. My mood brightened the moment I entered the hotel. It's a shame I didn't express my gratitude to Ms. Yang at the time, but when I think of Switzerland, this wonderful hotel and Ms. Yang come to mind first. Our best wishes to you, kindhearted lady, and may everything go well with you. Compared to the shabby and noisy Mandarin Oriental in the grayness of Lucerne, I'm tempted to return to Interlaken for a few more days. There's no need to go all the way to Lucerne; Interlaken is wonderful enough; don't miss the Mandarin Oriental.

GGuest UserVery close to Interlaken West station, just a 5-10 minute walk. Interlaken's main commercial street is right by the train station. There's a large Coop supermarket right next to the hotel; if it happens to be Sunday and it's closed, you can head to the one on the main street. There's also a Cantonese restaurant nearby with good food. I noticed a highly-rated cheese fondue restaurant on Google Maps nearby, but didn't get a chance to try it this time. Although the bathroom and toilet were shared, it felt like I had them all to myself. My single room was in the attic, which got very hot during the day. Turning off the lights and opening the skylight at night helped a bit.

66678****This is a traditional 4-star hotel with an excellent location, very close to the train station and a supermarket. You can even catch a glimpse of snow-capped mountains, especially beautiful at sunset when they glow golden. The ice cream shop across the street has really delicious ice cream!
