"The location is pretty good, about ten minutes walk to Interlaken West Station and very close to the coop. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. My room has an independent bathroom and the hygiene is also good."

"Stayed 2 nights. Location is fantastic! Surrounded by many shops and eateries. Short walk to Interlaken OST station or just hop on to a bus just 1 stop away. Bus stop is just 2 mins walk from hotel. Very convenient. Hotel room furnishing is very old fashion. Room a bit not clean. Pilow really flat, like a thicker floor mat. The bed is not comfortable too. Toilet bowl base is a bit disgusting. No slipper, toothbrush or shower cap etc provided. Having to leave the room key at the reception is a hassle or you carry a heavy key chain out. This hotel do provide chargeable use of washing machine and dryer."

"Facilities: Very well-equipped. Although the house is over 80 years old, it has an elevator and ample space in the room. Two 28-inch suitcases can be opened without obstructing access. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, with daily cleaning and vacuuming, excellent. Environment: Only a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West Station, no problem even with three large suitcases. Migros supermarket is a 3-minute walk away. The area is quiet, away from the commercial streets. Service: The front desk was very friendly. The breakfast, which cost 12 francs extra, was very generous and mostly freshly cooked (but as you know, it's a continental breakfast, don't expect too much). The house was built in the 1940s and has been passed down through the family. The original owner still lives there, and if you leave late in the morning, you can see them eating and chatting outside. The owner has a wonderful collection of antiques, which is very eye-catching. The rooms are small, so you don't have to worry about being crowded. It was a very good experience."

"The room I was stay in was under construction out of my window. There was a big plastic cover and wind can’t come thru the room. It was a hot day when I checked in. There is no air conditioner in the room. There is only a small fan provided in the room. It was so hot with no fresh air, I asked the front desk to switch another room, but the hotel was fully booked. The bedsheet was so wrinkled. I know this is a historic building but every is so out of date. I won’t stay or recommend anyone stay here."

"We had a wonderful stay at Royal St. Georges Hotel Interlaken. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Interlaken Ost station, restaurants, and many attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with beautiful mountain views. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Breakfast had a good variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent service."

"This is a lovely hotel with a lot to offer. The location is truly excellent—close to public transport and within walking distance of the main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and very clean.  The only area that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the quality didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. It was the one thing we were disappointed with. Despite the breakfast, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms."

"Old fashioned room has no air con, needs to use the table fan provided. In addition, the window almost dropped off. Room is dark as not enough lights. Not enough electricity plugs available for charging 4 devices (phones and tablets). Beautiful river facing from the window. Conveniently located near the train station and shopping."
