"This hotel is a family-run apartment (a villa), and we were assigned a spacious room on the third floor. It's very close to Interlaken West (train station), only a 6-minute walk away. The area is quiet, and the room has air conditioning and an elevator. It was also clean. The only downside is that other hotels usually provide two bottles of water daily, but this one didn't. (Of course, there were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, which is common in European hotels)."

"High floor with a balcony and an excellent location. The price is a bit high, but it has a fridge. The overall service is good, and the elevators are quite smart. There are supermarkets, malls, and restaurants nearby, and it's not far from the train station. There's a big park across the street where you can see paragliders, offering fantastic views. Aside from the price, there aren't many issues."

"This hotel in Interlaken offers great value for money, and I was very satisfied: 1. The location is unbeatable; it's just across the road from the train station and has Migros and Coop nearby. 2. It's clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. Although the room is small, both of our large suitcases could be fully opened, and there's even a small balcony, which is a great bonus. 3. The front desk has a 24-hour coffee machine and hot water, so it's very convenient to go downstairs and grab a drink whenever you're thirsty. 4. There's no air conditioning, but there's a fan, which was perfectly adequate for sleeping even on the hottest days. The downsides are that the breakfast selection is very limited and unappetizing. Also, if you turn on the lights at night, insects and flies come in (but this seems to be common throughout Interlaken due to the many cows and their manure…). However, if you tell the front desk, they'll come with various tools to help you get rid of them, so the service is still excellent."

"The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West train station, with a COOP supermarket right downstairs. The room was clean but it was really hot in mid-June, the heatwave in Europe this year was no joke. Luckily, it only started on the day I flew back home. Most hotels here don't have air conditioning or fans, so you'll need to bring your own. Also, the hotel breakfast was really substantial, good enough to keep me full until the afternoon."

"First, let's talk about the location. From Interlaken Ost station, turn right and walk straight for about 280 meters, and you'll arrive. Actually, you don't even need to exit the station; just walk to the end of the platform, and it's much closer. We discovered this later and always used that route – just make sure you know which platform to walk along directly, avoiding the underground passage. Second, the hotel service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They gave a thorough introduction to the hotel and important notices, specifically mentioning not to put food waste in the bins. For self-catered food, there's a dedicated dining area (Pic 8) where they provide free plates and cutlery, which you just need to return to the bar counter after use. We had to book a suite because all other rooms were full. The room was quite spacious, with a small balcony offering a nice view of the mountains behind (Pics 1, 2). The bathroom had a massage bathtub with lavender and ice salt available, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was served in the back garden, and the setting was lovely. The only drawback was that the temperature hit 30 degrees Celsius during our first few days, and the room had no air conditioning. (Hotels with AC are rare there, which is understandable, but I still hope they'll improve this in the future, especially with global temperatures rising). After contacting the front desk, they provided a fan, which helped a lot. In the following days, the temperature dropped, and it was fine; after all, it gets cool in the mountains at night. The hotel's decor style truly resembles a vintage European hotel. Plus, there's a row of seats and tables outside the entrance, which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the street view in the evening. Directly opposite the hotel is the cable car station for the Harder Kulm viewpoint, and Hohematte Park is just a short walk away. Third, directly across from the train station is a large Coop supermarket that has pretty much everything. As others have mentioned, the roasted chicken is indeed cheap and delicious, about 7 CHF for half a chicken. It closes at 7 PM, but there's also a smaller Coop supermarket inside the train station that closes at 9 PM. It has fewer varieties than the main one, but it still covers basic food needs, even if the selection isn't huge."

"This is a lovely hotel with a lot to offer. The location is truly excellent—close to public transport and within walking distance of the main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and very clean.  The only area that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the quality didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. It was the one thing we were disappointed with. Despite the breakfast, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms."
