Hotels with Parking in Bern

Decent, unspectacular and fuss-free stay. Friendly receptionist. Rooms are a bit small, but stillenough space for us carrying 2 big luggage, 2 duffel bags, 1 backpack and 1 handbag. However, I have to question the awkward set-up of the room curtains. There's a desk placed in front of the window, and the curtains go in front of the desk. i.e. the curtains would cover both the desk and the window when closed. This is annoying because you can't block out light from the outside entirely.

Very pleasant stay experience, the room is clean and quiet, although the old house facilities are simple, the details are well maintained, the bedding is very soft and comfortable, the bathroom is very clean, there is a tram nearby to go directly to the old town attractions. The boss was very enthusiastic and took the map to help us introduce the most suitable tour route, saving our time. Breakfast is traditional European, the freshly baked croissants are crispy with coffee, there are interesting colored eggs, and the ladies in the restaurant are also very careful. It is recommended to check in in advance, Europe's working hours are not 24 hours. The last day of breakfast remembers the wrong time, when we went to breakfast, we started to receive the meal, or let us take the bread to eat on the road. Promised to write a review for the boss, I hope he can understand Chinese.

Location is superb,near by train station. Good welcoming staff on reception. Overall excellent service with positive attitude.

I stayed here while attending a summer school at the University of Bern and found it to be a very good location, a nice walk through the city to get to the university, and right next to the river not far from an area where you can keep a towel then walk up river to jump in for a swim. The hostel breakfast was quite good and the mattress was very comfortable so that I slept quite well while here. My roommates were also academics here for a conference, so good roommates. The only complaint is that there were a lot of school groups or something, so lots of noisy, squeaky tweens running around.

The room was clean and fresh, equipped with a fridge and mini-bar, hairdryer, and bathrobes. It had a separate toilet and bathroom. I really liked the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom, which included shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body cream, and soap. The hotel is close to the city center, just a 10-minute walk to the Rosarium. We enjoyed everything, thank you!

A good hotel local to the city and accessible by tram, in a quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The room contains a fridge stocked with refreshments that you have to pay for with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom contained little touches with sealed packets of ear buds, nail file and tooth picks which is nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of food catering for all tastes however the plates are quite small so be prepared for a few trips back and forth to the buffet. The pool was good but cold when first entering so be prepared ro swim a few laps ro warm up.

The location itself at Wankdorf was not the best. But it’s just a train stop away from Bern Main Station (5min) or the tram and bus are also available for free (get your free transport pass from the hotel). The room has everything you need. Love the little kitchen. A good hotel to base in Bern as it’s easy to get around such as Thun, Interlaken, Grindelwald, Zermatt and Lucern.

What I liked was how convenient it was being close to the station, the complimentary breakfast, and the staff being willing to heat up anything I needed in the microwave. The only minor downsides were that the door lock was a bit tricky for a Japanese person to use (it would be frustrating if you were in a hurry) and the fact that the room and the toilet/shower were in separate areas, meaning I had to unlock and relock the door every time I needed to go between them. However, it was still a good deal for staying in Bern, and considering I didn't have to lug around a heavy suitcase, it was totally worth it.

The German standard adapter doesn't work in Switzerland, so remember to bring the right adapter! Thanks to the front desk for letting me borrow one. Here, floors 1-9 are ibis, with bigger and cozier rooms and decor, while floors 10-12 are ibis budget Bern Expo, with smaller rooms and a different style. Breakfast is quite simple, and restocking food is a bit slow. The restaurant has a water dispenser that provides hot, warm, cold, and iced water all day. Next time, I want to try ibis; I don't like ibis budget Bern Expo, 😂
