Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa
"Spacious and luxurious room with huge bathroom. Conveniently located next to public transportation, attractions and shopping. Restaurant at Sky Terrace was overpriced and didn’t taste nice. Restaurant Jack’s at ground floor has nice ambience and serves nice steaks."
Best Western Plus Hotel Bern
"Very nice hotel"
Bellevue Palace
"The room was very clean, the quality you would expect from an old palace hotel."
Holiday Inn Bern Westside by IHG
"The location is a bit off, everything else is OK"
Prize by Radisson, Bern City
"The hotel is clean and have free coffee."
Swissôtel Kursaal Bern
"Please be noted that you should knock on the door before entering the room for cleaning. We feel terribly offended and weird when staff use a room key to open the door at 10 a.m. without any inquiries. 😨😨 Additionally, I don’t understand why we need to provide a credit card as a guarantee, cuz no European hotel has ever asked me to do so, not even any other hotels in Switzerland 😊😊 Poor service and never choose it again!"
Hotel Ador
"Location is good, service is good. But the room is small, seems no place to put luggage."
Novotel Bern Expo
"Near tram station, got sofa bed and queen bed, good for families Service is good"
NH Bern the Bristol
"Hitel was good. Sadly they forgot to send the receipt as I asked them to."

ibis budget Bern Expo
"Excellent location just hop on a tram from Bern central station. Professional staff. Check-in was quick. Always here at the reception to assist guests. Common space at the first floor has everything you need. Microwave, paper cup, and utensils."
Hotel National Bern
"Clean and convenient location (close to train station) Breakfast is good selection and fresh orange juice. Classic charm with an old still operating elevator. Quite noisy at night from trams and buses running if you are a light sleeper. Not an issue for myself."
Hotel Marthahaus
"The front desk staff were all friendly and left a good impression. At first glance, it looked more like an ordinary private home than a hotel, but considering the location it was relatively easy to find and I didn't have to wander around looking for it. The rooms were clean and safety was well ensured. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the shower and toilet were shared. I happened to be in a room next to them so it wasn't too inconvenient. Looking out the window with a small balcony gave me a sense of calm. (The photo shows the building diagonally opposite the hotel window.)"

"Good location and clean"
Moxy Bern Expo
"The location is good for rail connections and tram into the city. The nearby area is mostly quiet with only a few shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable. The breakfast food choice was good, the restocking of food and tableware was at times slow, needs more staff checking regularly and refilling empty stations efficiently, especially the cheeses, hams, condiment pots, breads, tea mugs, and glasses. The reception staff member at checkout was unsure if we had paid for the room or not at check-in. We believed we had paid for the room but needed to pay for breakfast. We were given a bill for 1 night plus 4 days breakfast. Which is incorrect no matter if we had paid or not for the room at check-in. Confusing and doesn't leave you feeling confident about your bill."
Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel
"Sharifeh and other receptionists were very helpful and cheerful."
Los Lorentes Residences
"Pros: Clean and modern, convenient access to public transport, good value, kitchenette available, and having two supermarkets nearby makes cooking very convenient. Cons: Not in the old town, self check-in system."
Hotel la Pergola
"There are hairs on the sheets, but nothing else. However, the front desk clearly stated check-out before 11 o'clock. In the morning, the hotel staff took the key and tried to open the door. This is very confusing."
Hotel Arabelle
"Everything is perfect one of my favourite hotel"
Hotel Waldhorn
"The facilities are complete and the place is clean and tidy."
Hotel Jardin Bern
"It was a very pleasant stay experience. The room was clean and the surroundings were quiet. Although it is an old house, the facilities are simple and the details are well maintained. The bedding is very soft and comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. There are trams nearby that can directly go to the old town attractions. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped us introduce the most suitable tour route with a map, which saved us time. The breakfast is traditional European style, the freshly baked croissants are crispy and delicious with coffee, there are interesting colored eggs, and the lady in the restaurant is also very attentive. It is recommended to contact us in advance if you check in late. The working hours in Europe are not 24 hours. I remembered the wrong time for breakfast on the last day. When we arrived, breakfast was being collected, but we were still allowed to grab bread to eat on the way. I agreed to write a review to my boss, hoping he could understand Chinese."
Boutique Hotel Belle Epoque
"Located in the old town, the walk from the train station to the hotel is enjoyable. There's also a bus stop nearby, making it very convenient. The single room was charming, resembling an attic room! An electric kettle and slippers were provided, making for a comfortable stay in the room!"
Max Aviation Villa & Apartments
"Here you breathe family. What a good experience, we found a welcoming, family-friendly environment. From the 27th of January to the 1st of February, we lived like we were at home. Thank you for the smiles, the worry, for all the help and especially to Claude Neumeyer for helping us find our way in this new aventure in Bern. A thank you will never be enough. Out hearts will stay here. From Portugal to Switzerland ❤️"
Hotel Ambassador
"A good hotel local to the city and accessible by tram, in a quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The room contains a fridge stocked with refreshments that you have to pay for with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom contained little touches with sealed packets of ear buds, nail file and tooth picks which is nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of food catering for all tastes however the plates are quite small so be prepared for a few trips back and forth to the buffet. The pool was good but cold when first entering so be prepared ro swim a few laps ro warm up."
Hotel & Restaurant Sternen Muri Bei Bern
"Breakfast is a bit expensive. Transportation is quite convenient."
Unique Hotel Innere Enge
"We had a wonderful stay at this charming , beautiful, old world style hotel. Don’t miss the incredible jazz club downstairs with talented performers and a devoted friendly crowd. The owners are hands on and pay attention to every detail. The staff is the sweetest and most helpful I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are immaculately clean , beds comfortable and have lovely views. The location is perfect - just out of the bustle and noise of Bern but a quick ride in. The bus ride is free with your stay and stops right in front of the hotel. The restaurant serves lovely dinners and the breakfast is a dream , your cappuccino surrounded by a view of the alps. A favorite memory is having an afternoon drink in the beautiful park cafe , with locals popping in to meet friends or playing a game of mini golf with their kids. The surrounding area is gorgeous for a walk or bike ride. It’s the perfect place to stay in Bern. I miss it already !"
Hotel Bären am Bundesplatz
"Room size relatively smaller compared to other places such as montreux/zermatt, amenities also limited. The great thing of this hotel is the location, and lot of convenient store surrounding it. No need to worry about food and drink if u reach the hotel late. In short, recommend this hotel for small families and whoever first time visit Bern"
Da Maurizio Suites
"For a price, it's rare to find such spacious self-catering apartment suites in Switzerland. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped, and I recommend it if you're driving. The experience should be better than in the city, but you won't see many people."
