Location is great. Most of the attractions are within walking distance. Nice staff in front desk. But if the hotel lobby can be renovated to provide an easier way to move the luggages to the lift area would be a lot better instead of lifting the 20kg+ heavy luggages up by stairs.

I love luxury. I do. I admit it. I want to feel pampered and special and relaxed and comfortable on vacation. I work really really hard. I also really dislike privilege and waste. A lot. The Hotel Continental ticked all of my boxes. We came in from a red eye early and they already had a room ready for us and check in was a breeze. It felt glamourous but accessible and def had a lot of areas for socializing, sitting, having a coffee or tea. Our room was fantastic. We looked out at the National Theatre and the park. We were next to the train/tram stations for extraordinarily easy access to the airport or anyplace else we wanted to go. I could go on and on about the bedding. I've contacted them because I want the bedding in my home. The windows open freely unlike American hotels and that was gorgeous and a nice surprise. We chose not to have any service while we were there because of my previous waste comment and the bedding, amenities (Molton Brown) and towels held up fine for four days/three nights. I'm a bath person but their shower was very good. Their breakfast buffet was to die over and since we were always the first ones up, we had a chance to chat with the ladies who worked there, and they were lovely. Lots of great advice, always accommodating and just very nice people. There is a really brilliant technique that fantastic staff has if a place is great. They never intrude but always seem to know if you have a question or need assistance or just feel lonely or social and want to chat and joke. The Hotel Continental staff was that level of fantastic. We really loved it there. And you will not beat the location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel location is very close to the palace, breakfast is quite good, is the Western-style breakfast, that is, the bed in the room is too soft, I slept for two days, low back pain, other no problem, the roof bar can go down, see the night view is good.

The location of this place is superb! Opposite is byporten and Oslo Central station (Oslo S). Very convenient to come here with the train from airport. Hotel located in strategic location where it’s a walking distance to all the branded stores and also one of Oslo best sushi restaurant. Do take note that the hotel does not have a In room phone. So if you need anything, you are required to sms then instead. Lastly, for my stay the breakfast was awesome! I booked for a superior room with bath tub, ended up they gave me a Handicapped room with no bath tub, pretty disappointed.

Oslo City Center Oslo|0.51km from downtown
Stayed twice a week for three nights. The transportation is really convenient, especially when you do n’t understand Norwegian, Oslo central is a hotel, which is very convenient for the first time visitors to Oslo. Facilities and cleanliness are OK and recommended. The only reminder is that the double bed room is two single beds joined together, but the hotel I stayed behind is like this, it may be a local custom in Norway. Ctrip's price is cheaper than booking. There are special prices for mainland tourists. In addition, I can stay alone and choose a single breakfast. The price is cheaper.

Oslo|6.71km from downtown
I feel that there are many people in India and Pakistan who live in the store. It seems that the hotel reception also has Indian and Pakistani people. There is a gas station at the gate. There is a McDonald's or KFC in the hotel next door. There is a Kiwi supermarket near the hotel. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the supermarket. It is very convenient. Hotel parking lot, you can park on the ground floor, the charge seems to be NOK150. If you stop the hotel's underground car park, the parking fee will be higher. There is no breakfast at the hotel, so it is not clear what the breakfast is.

We were satisfied with our stay at the hotel! Spacious clean room, decent bathroom, kettle, cups, coffee/tea. The windows overlooked the street with a tram, but this did not interfere with sleep. Good location, literally 10 minutes to the town hall) Excellent breakfast, varied buffet.

Oslo|3.97km from downtown
The metro station is just 2 floors below the hotel. It’s hard to recognize the hotel without going out, but you can go to the hotel by passing through the restaurant above coop Mega. It takes about 5 minutes to reach Oslo S with the metro. The hall and elevators are a bit run down. But the room is very comfortable. The elevators and rooms have some strange smell though. I had to open the window to ventilate the room. The buffet breakfast is the best selling point

The hotel is quite central. All in the room and common areas very clean. In the lower floor we could prepare breakfast and drink it quietly. The hotel was very friendly and the staff were very friendly and we were allowed to check out at 6:00, so we had no need to worry about leaving anything in order (they are available) and we changed our clothes before we leave.

Very good hotel, value for money is too high, in the center of the city, shopping is very close, a few minutes walk, the hotel is fully self-service, very clean, a lot of entertainment facilities in public areas. Don't buy drinks at the kiosk downstairs, coffee is twice as expensive. There is a cooperative restaurant downstairs, there is a discount for dining in the hotel

Location is very convenient located next to the Central station, only a few minutes walk away. The receptionists were very friendly and they gave us some food recommendations. Room is a bit cramped however, with barely enough space to open two luggages. Slippers are always not provided or available at the hotel, so remember to get yours before arriving! Attached below is a view near the hotel.

checked in and sent to a room in the 10th floor, got there room not ready. went back to reception to tell l them, no apology given just an oh really and another room given. rooms are like travel lodge back home, basic but enough for a city break. breakfast 6-10. at 9.50 the young lad in the restaurant walking round telling everyone the breakfast shut at 10am and. by this he meant he wanted you out of the restaurant people were still eating and he was hassling them to go. also all the plates and leftover food was being dropped into buckets right in the centre of the room not at all nice to see or walk past. these need moving

The hotel is located in the city center, and the transportation is very convenient, and most of the city's attractions can be reached on foot. Better than expected, the room is relatively large in this Norwegian line, and it also contains two meals, which is quite cost-effective. The equipment is also new and satisfactory. It is a quarter of an hour's walk from the shopping street and the seafood fish market. Parking in Oslo is a big problem. You can ask the front desk for a coupon and go to the designated parking lot for 200 kr.

Oslo City Center Oslo|0.42km from downtown
The unit met all of our basic needs with four twin beds, couch, kitchen with basic supplies, fridge, microvawe, stove, dishes and supplies, large bathroom with shower, and automatic shades for the early morning sun. But very limited lighting and black interior made it very dark and hard to see. Washer and dryers on each floor are free but took us several hours of running and eventually we dried clothes in our unit by hanging them. Cannot say enough nice things about the neighborhood. Mainly Pakistani, North African, East African and Arab. Amazing and cheap produce and food everywhere, Walking distance to Oslo Central train and bus stations. It can get a little grimy so exercise caution but felt pretty safe.

My husband, two adult sons, sister, her husband and I travelled here for my sisters 50th birthday. Did not know what to expect from the hotel as is in the city centre so could be hit or miss. Did not have to worry at all. The staff are absolutely amazing and could not do enough for us. The buffet breakfast set us up for the day. The rooms were spacious and clean and had a mini fridge. Also small ironing board and iron in the rooms should you wish you iron! Water on tap available in the lobby, in the restaurant, in the gym and in the lounge and all had a choice of still or sparkling water. Along with a variety of Nespresso coffee pods. Could not tell that the hotel was in the middle of the centre. Brilliant location and place to chill with the train station within walking distance. If we were coming back to Oslo, this is where we would stay as everything you need and want is close by. Made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

The hotel is right at the train station, but it is not very easy to find when arriving. There is no sign for the hotel in the train station. We still rely on navigation to find the hotel from the outside. Gave us a room for the disabled, which is large in size but relatively rudimentary. If the room needs to be cleaned, you need to inform the front desk, no charge. The room can't control the temperature by itself. Fortunately, the days we stayed, the outside was very hot, so I didn't feel cold. The restaurant is on the first floor and there are many people, so it seems crowded. The overall sanitation of the hotel is general, especially in restaurants and public areas.

On the plus side, location is excellent and staff is welcoming and service-minded. Breakfast is nice, and has everything you need. The hotel bar had unfortunately closed early due to unknown reasons according to hotel staff, which was kind of a let-down as it would have been nice to be able to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine in the nice patio outside the bar. The lighting in the room was either extremely bright or pitch dark as lights couldn't be dimmed or separately turned on/off. Maybe I was just unlucky with my room, but it was really hard to find (the hotel is a maze!) and there was a horrible noise every 10 minutes from pipes/the ventilation system or some such, which sounded like someone banging loudly on metal pipes with a wrench. Use earplugs to sleep!

Oslo City Center Oslo|0.58km from downtown
Norway is the country with the highest GDP per capita in the world, but this trip to Northern Europe is the most boring country in the city center. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the center of the old city, but the facilities are very simple. Not as good as a county hotel in China. The breakfast did not even have hot meals, and there was no water heater in the room. A plastic bag is hung on the door every morning, containing 2 ice-cold sandwiches and 2 bottles of orange juice. If you don't bring your own water heater, breakfast for guests with stomach problems will become the source of the disease. The TV in the room only has 2 Norwegian channels and there is no international news in English. I hardly believe that this is a hotel in the center of the capital where the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded. Oslo has many advertisements welcoming Chinese people to use UnionPay cards, and maps in Chinese. However, the arrangement of hotel facilities to cater to the habits of Chinese tourists is the worst in the Nordic countries, far inferior to Finland and Sweden. It makes people doubt the Viking countries, where are their competitive advantages today?

The room is large and the interior is also a good impression. All the front staff feels good. There is an electric kettle. There is a dryer. There is a desk. No toothbrush / shaving / slippers. The breakfast is very good. Smoked salmon, grilled salmon, grilled mackerel, various breads, various cereals, various fruits, scrambled eggs, fried eggs and so on. Since Oslo has a high meal cost, I think this breakfast is quite valuable. Smooth check-in and check-out. Not good point. None. If you come to Oslo someday, you will stay at this hotel without hesitation.

The biggest problem is that when we go to the renovation, we have to go from one building to another, and we have to go up and down the stairs on the back door, like a labyrinth. If you don't want to go, be sure to ask the hotel staff! ! ! There is no hair dryer or hot water bottle in the hotel. The hair dryer should ask the waiter at the front desk. Location is great. Most of the attractions are within walking distance. Nice staff in front desk. But if the hotel lobby can be renovated to provide an easier way to move the luggages to the lift area would be a lot better instead of lifting the 20kg+ heavy luggages up by stairs.

Generally, I enjoyed my stay, but the problems started with the check-out. I forgot a few items of clothing in my room and therefore called after returning home to find out how to get them back. Initially nobody could tell me if they had found the clothes or not, and it took me three phone calls in total until somebody actually talked to the housekeeping staff to find out. The result was that the clothes were not found, which means that the staff who cleaned either threw the clothes away or kept them. I had the impression that the front desk staff only started to show some initiative after I had called several times and also did not care a great deal to find my belongings. I would expect more (and definitely not several items of clothing to disappear) in a 3 star hotel.

Neat and clean hotel located in the centrum of Oslo, Norway. Very close to many tourist attractions. Has lots of restaurants, shops, 7/11 nearby. The room was neat and clean and compact. There was a common microwave and TV room(which is common for all the guests and near the reception). A coffee vending machine available 24/7 . I like the old vibe and the hotel has a lot of history which I really liked. They do not provide any glass or plates in the room but available in the reception. There are lots of street parking for cars in the adjacent roads. I would definitely suggest this hotel and might come back as well.

A very nice hotel in a quiet area of the city centre, just a few hundred meters from the royal castle. Short distance to the tram if you want to get around, but also in walking distance to the main street in Oslo (Karl Johans gate). The hotel has modern interior with happy colors, and the staff is service oriented. I love this place! The breakfast is good and is in the restaurant named Café Europa. (The café/restaurant is also worth a visit where they have exceptional great service. They also offer the food as takeaway if you want to eat it in your room.)

I have mixed feelings here. The location was really good for us (close to the library, where I was working, and close to Aker Brygge and the city centre). The staff were also friendly and tried their best to resolve issues quickly. We never got the heating fixed and our flat was extremely hot for our entire stay, and though they brought us a tiny fan, we were quite warm, especially at night. However, I agree with other reviewers here, who noted that the flats are pretty small and that for the price, you'd expect a bit more. I think for stays over 5 or so days, they should automatically clean, rather than charging for it. They should also offer more toilet paper and kitchen towels instead of expecting you to buy it, and they could provide aluminium foil and a few other basics (again, given the price we're paying). I'd like to see refillable soap containers, in order to be more eco-friendly, rather than small plastic bottles that they presumably throw away. And I think they could easily offer a vegan breakfast (you know, bread with vegetables isn't that hard to prepare...). In general, though, we had a good stay.

A nice decent place to stay . The beds were comfortable. The sheets were clean. The bathroom is different and utility oriented. The towels are clean. The furniture is comfortable in the rooms. The reception was good. And prompt. There are 2 different wings in the hotel. The breakfast table is well spread and food is continental. Veggies are also well catered to. All in all a good hotel to stay with family/ friends.

I chose this hotel to consider that the second day of the tour was at the Sculpture Park, and it was only a ten minute walk. The hotel self-service is also very convenient. If you have any questions, you can call to communicate with the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the surroundings are very good.

We stayed as a family at this property, and were upgraded to a two bed apartment which was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The check in process is via self service in another building which is a 5 min walk. If you have large luggage I recommend you leave it at oscarsgate 86 property and walk down to Skovien 8 to check in as the way back will be uphill for about 50 metres and will be difficult to drag large luggage. There is a supermarket within 5 mins walk which sells most things you will need to make your own breakfast, or cook a meal as eating out is expensive in Norway. The nearby 7-11 also sells tram/bus tickets and decent ready to eat food which is also reasonably priced. The Tram/Bus stop is about 5 min walk from the property and you can reach the City in 10-15 mins and its very convenient and cheaper way to travel as Taxis are very expensive. There is no reception onsite, but towels, sheets, toiletries etc u need are left on a cart near the main entrance so you can access them. There is a Washing Machine in the bathroom, which has instructions in Norwegian (english would be helpful) and you have to buy your own washing powder. There is a dishwasher in Kitchen but only 1 tablet is provided, so if u are staying more than a day u need to buy dishwasher tablets (property should provide a few) Overall we would stay here again if we visited Oslo and recommend this property to other travelers

Located just behind Aker Brygge, few mins walk from harbor front with bars & restaurants. It’s a « No staff » hotel, which wasn’t really clear during booking process. Room was fine, clean & tidy. Good quality bath soap & shampoo, a Nespresso machine in room too but the hair dryer didn’t work… Still a nice place to stay & not too expensive in Oslo

Thon Hotels are always my first choice when I first need a hotel and I’ve always been pleased with the chain. However, Linne was way below my expectations compared to other Thon hotels that I’ve been at. To start with: there were old dirty bed sheets laying around when we walked into the room (probably forgotten by the cleaning staff). Old TV which doesn’t allow you to watch anything else than local satellite channels. The room was ice cold, maybe turning on the heat before the guests arrive could be an idea? We checked in quite late (20:00 or something), the temperature would be all right if the wall panels had been turned on by check in time 15:00 or earlier. The breakfast was very good, but it would be nice if the restaurant staff would allow us to finish our food before they go collecting our plates from the table. I’m a fan of Thon but not so sure I will be returning to Linne, sorry.

The location is on the top of the mountain, the transportation is inconvenient, the bus stop to the city center is about 13 minutes away, the train station needs taxi, Oslo nobles, in addition, a large part of the hotel is newly renovated, facilities and daily necessities are not yet available, the room does not even have a phone. The room is not small, the bedside table and table are small, not commensurate with the room area, the bathroom is large, but unfortunately the glass door of the shower room is not well designed, the water will still be immersed. The advantage is that the landscape is good, the breakfast is good, and the breakfast area is cute. The overall service is ordinary, not professional and procrastinating.
