Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Oslo

This hotel is highly unprofessional. The service is poor, and there's a clear discrimination against Asian guests. They refuse to apologize even when they're in the wrong. The surrounding area also feels unsafe. The room transfer service was very unprofessional, and you need a key to use the lobby restroom, which they are reluctant to provide to guests who need it. Please think twice before booking this hotel.

The hotel's location is good and convenient. Although the room isn't large, it's clean and functional, which was acceptable. I arrived in Oslo a day early, excited for my Silver Sea Arctic cruise, and planned to extend my stay at the hotel for one night after the cruise. When checking in, I specifically mentioned that the cruise company had already booked a room for the following night and asked if I could stay in the same room to avoid switching. The receptionist checked and confirmed that they had specially arranged for me to stay in the same room, and I would just need to renew my key the next day. I was very pleased, thinking the hotel's service was thoughtful and human. However, the next morning when I went to the front desk to renew my key, I was told that if I wanted to continue my stay, I'd have to pay an additional 500 NOK! The hotel management's policy changed so suddenly; I believe their service greatly needs improvement. I also have an extended stay for one night on my return trip. I wonder if they'll try to make me switch rooms or upgrade then?! Very dissatisfied. Also, the bed wasn't very big, and the breakfast chef was very unfriendly.

This hotel overlooks the fjord, and the rooftop bar and restaurant offer unique views at night. The hotel's location is convenient, with many nearby attractions within walking distance. There's also a market behind the hotel, similar to a morning market, with very reasonable prices. We happened to be there during Norway's National Day, and the hotel breakfast included a flag cake and champagne.

The location is super convenient! I took the train from the airport to the central station, walked across a skybridge, and was at the hotel in just two minutes. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the room was cleaned promptly every day. I arrived at the hotel at 8:30 AM to check in, and the front desk informed me that my booked room type wasn't available yet. I upgraded to a better room for an extra 300 RMB per night and was able to check in immediately. The room was quite spacious. Breakfast was also plentiful, and on Saturdays, you need to reserve a dining time beforehand, which you can do at the front desk during check-in. The pizza place downstairs is pretty good too!

The room's location is great, right next to the train station! And the room itself is good too.

This Thon Hotel in Oslo far exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was incredibly satisfying, with freshly fried eggs, cured salmon, and Norwegian ham. They even served champagne sometimes, which was an absolute treat. The swimming pool was also clean and well-maintained.

You can see the hotel right after exiting the Central Station, and it's less than a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is right by the harbor, and you can pretty much walk to the old town from there.
