"This was a good stopover on our Great Ocean Road trip. The room had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side, with strong winds and rough seas the day we arrived. Apollo Bay has plenty of food options, so you don't need to worry about finding a meal when driving yourself. My only complaint is that I didn't see any hotel staff during our entire stay, so the service was practically non-existent. Also, parking in the courtyard is quite limited."

The room was spotless, the facilities were well-maintained, and the hot water was plentiful with a super comfy bed โ truly the best comfort for a traveler after a day of exploring. I especially loved the lush greenery surrounding the hotel; waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was a delight. The front desk staff were very polite, and the check-out process was quick and efficient. If I ever visit Apollo Bay again, this will definitely be my top choice!

Close to the coast, the room is large and well-equipped.
There is a gas station in front, which blocks part of the view and is slightly lacking.
There were koalas nearby, and I was lucky enough to meet them up close. They were cute and cute.

The place was easy to find and personally I appreciated the self check-in experience. The room was clean in general though like most hotels, it's hard to keep carpets clean unless you steam clean often, so maybe consider hardwood floors next time the rooms are renovated.
I do hope the noise isolation was better. People were talking loudly outside until late night.

I was a little scared when I couldn't see anyone smoking at the door at night. I didn't know until the next day that there were other guests nearby. I saw wild kangaroos, but the entrance was hard to find. I initially thought I had taken the wrong road. It was really wild.

Apollo Bay is the town where our family stayed the longest on this self-driving Great Ocean Road trip. Our family of five, two adults and three children, stayed in this cabin for three nights in a row. In addition to the beautiful scenery nearby, the most important thing is that it provides bicycles, boats, fishing rods, golf clubs, etc., and you can go to nearby courses. , play at the beach, we have fun every day! The owner Amanda and a friend of hers are taking care of these cabins. They are very nice people and can provide a lot of help to guests. For those of us living in domestic cities, burning wood in the fireplace to keep warm is a very interesting experience!

XIAOMEIThe hotel is on the edge of the Great Ocean Road. It used to be convenient. Next to it is a small town that can be supplemented with some daily necessities. The service attitude of the hotel was relatively poor. We booked the room. When we arrived at the hotel, it was more than 9:00 in the evening. The front desk of the hotel was closed. We called and asked for the procedure. The receptionist made a half-day complaint and said that we disturbed him to sleep. There was no quilt in the room, the weather was a little cold, and the air conditioning in the room was not strong. There was no way to be familiar with the surroundings. At this time, there was no way to change places and make a mess.

I used this hotel on the first day of the Great Ocean Road, when I moved from Melbourne to Apollo Bay.
I chose this hotel because it was cheaper than other accommodations.
The cleanliness of the room was commensurate with the price, and it felt like a student dormitory. (lol)
Towels, hair dryers, shampoo, and other amenities were all provided, so I personally didn't have any problems (no toothbrushes).
An international call is required to check in, so be careful about that. If you're looking to keep the price down, this is the place for you.
