It's right next to a subway station, making it really convenient to get to Qianling Mountain, Jiaxiu Tower, and even Guiyang North Station."

"This guesthouse is right inside the ancient city and really easy to find. The surroundings are quiet and elegant, and the overall design is great with all the facilities you could need. You can tell the owner puts a lot of thought into it. The room itself was very clean and tidy, and the bedding was super soft. The front desk staff, especially the young man at check-in and check-out, were so helpful with our luggage. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Dali!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across from Wenchang Pavilion, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy access to taxis. It's newly opened and very clean, maintaining Atour's consistent style. It's been the rainy season in Guizhou lately, and I had to change my itinerary by one day. Although Ctrip had confirmed the change, the front desk informed me their system couldn't process it. So, I had to cancel and rebook, which cost me an extra hundred yuan. The front desk staff upgraded my room and even gave me a souvenir when I checked out. Their service was excellent. For anyone traveling, especially if your plans are uncertain, I'd recommend booking one night at a time – it makes changes much easier to handle."

"Shoyu Hotel (Minsheng Road Food Street Branch) - An unexpectedly perfect experience! This stay was at the Shoyu Hotel, newly opened in '26, and I simply have to give it a huge thumbs-up! Even though it's a new hotel, there was absolutely no renovation smell, which was incredibly reassuring. You can tell they put a lot of effort into ventilation and environmental protection. The hotel itself is very high-end, and the room was unbelievably comfortable! What impressed me most were the exceptionally high ceilings and the large floor-to-ceiling windows. The natural light was fantastic, creating an amazing sense of space. It really brightened my mood just being there. The service was also top-notch throughout. The front desk always had a free coffee machine and tea available, and the self-service laundry room was very convenient and clean. Breakfast is from 7 am to 10 am with a wide variety of options. The biggest surprise was that this morning the hotel specially delivered hand-ground coffee – it smelled amazing and was both heartwarming and stomach-warming! The location is also excellent, right next to Minsheng Road Food Street, making it super convenient to grab a bite. All in all, whether it's the facilities, cleanliness, or service, I couldn't find a single fault. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area, and I will definitely be back next time!"

Although it's newly opened, the overall stay experience far exceeded my expectations. I sincerely recommend it to anyone catching a high-speed train or on a short trip! 📍Excellent Location: Very close to Guiyang North Railway Station, about a 15-minute walk with luggage. Taxis are readily available, and there's free parking for those driving, making travel hassle-free. 🏨Environment and Rooms: The lobby is modern, simple, clean, and spacious. The elevators require a card for access, ensuring maximum privacy and security. The rooms are spacious and airy, with separate wet and dry areas in the bathrooms. The toiletries are of high quality. The mattresses are just the right firmness, the blackout curtains are very effective, and the hallway noise is almost inaudible, ensuring a perfect rest. The internet speed for work is stable and smooth. The staff were all in excellent spirits and provided great service! The breakfast selection was extensive, comparable to a full-fledged five-star hotel, with a wide variety of choices, including local specialties like beef noodles, sticky rice, and spicy chicken. The service was warm and friendly. Although it wasn't crowded since it had just opened, the quality and service were excellent."

"Just wanted to share my experience – the room was impeccably clean, not a speck of dust or any strange smells, even in the corners. The natural light and ventilation were excellent; the room felt fresh and spacious. Soundproofing was decent too, so my sleep wasn't disturbed by outside noise. All the facilities, like the AC and TV, were well-maintained and worked perfectly. It was a comfortable and relaxing stay, exceeding my expectations. Definitely recommend for your travels."

"I had recently come on a holiday to the city and stayed here for 4 nights. The first 2 nights were well and without issue. On the last night, i was unfortunate enough to encounter a rat in my room. It had managed to escape through a hole under the sink and I was told that all rooms had this feature when I was requesting for a replacement room. Even the replacement had issues as the wifi did not have connectivity which caused their smart room functions to not work all the way till checkout. Also, rooms do not have a line to the front desk and communication with them is only through wechat. As such, it will be difficult for travelers who do not know mandarin to have a quick response to issues easily. I encountered my room key to not be able to open my room almost every afternoon and had to face the inconvenience of either going to the front desk or waiting for the staff to come up to provide a replacement key, where both options took substantial time due to the slow lifts. Also, the gym was not in a good condition and the breakfast was plain and repetitive. I have to commend the hotel staff for their positive attitude and willingness to provide assistance whenever issues arose, but I felt they were let down by the infrastructure and setup and could only be apologetic a lot of the time. It is a new hotel, so hopefully they might be able to fix these teething issues and provide future guests with a more positive experience."

The hotel is centrally located, with convenient transportation, close to all the popular Instagrammable spots. The subway entrance is only about a hundred meters away, which is very convenient. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and patiently guided me when I couldn't find the location. Highly recommended!"
