XiaotangtangguanYou can see Namsan Tower right from the window. The hotel itself is well-maintained, and the toiletries are quite good. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied; the pastries are excellent, and the coffee is delicious. It really shows that it's run by a major conglomerate – every detail is thoughtfully done. Plus, there's a duty-free shop right next to the hotel, which is super convenient for shopping.

Guest UserWe had such an amazing stay at L7 Myeongdong for my husband’s birthday trip! The location was extremely convenient, especially for Muslims as there were many halal restaurants nearby, along with night markets, shops, and convenience stores all within walking distance.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience even more memorable.
We were also lucky to get a Namsan Tower view room, and the view was absolutely beautiful, especially at night. Overall, it was truly a wonderful experience and we would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to Seoul!

Guest User2nd time staying here for 1 nightafter my Busan trip.
Initially front office given me a corner room which I am not aware (I requested no corner room) Just before I took the lift, he came to us & apologies said he saw my request for no corner room & rearrange another room for us. In fact he upgraded me to a triple room without telling us which consist of 1 double bed & 1 single bed.
Though it's a triple room but the room size is the same as a twin room & this time the toilet/bathroom take up quite a lot of space hence packing of the luggage has to be done on the bed. But we are thankful to him for being so thoughtful.
Overall it's a great stay.

Guest UserFacilities: The door lock was old, and it took some effort to open the security chain every time. The bidet was in Korean, so I had to use a translation app to figure it out.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was just average. There were hairs on the towels and bugs on the bed.
Environment: We could see Namsan Tower from the window, which was a nice view. The location was relatively convenient. It was close to Shinsegae Duty Free, but it still took about ten minutes to walk to Myeongdong.
Service: The service really depended on the individual. We arrived around 2 PM, and the staff member who took our luggage was very friendly. We asked if we could check in early, and they checked the room availability for us. However, when we asked the front desk, we were directly refused and told we had to wait until after 3 PM to check in.
Most of the hotel receptionists were quite surly and impatient. There was one who spoke Chinese – I'm not sure if they were Chinese – and their attitude was better.

I previously left a positive review, but I realized I did not include my friends’ feedback. During our 4-night stay, the towels were never replaced. We also tried contacting the hotel assistant through Trip, but we could not get any response. Since there was no reception desk available, there was no way for us to share our concerns during the stay.
For future bookings, I hope the hotel can provide accurate housekeeping information on the booking platform. The listing mentioned that daily housekeeping was included, but this was not actually provided.

LlininRight outside Chungmuro Station, Exit 8 on Subway Line 4 – just turn around and you're there! It's about one stop from the busiest part of Myeongdong, either a walk or a subway ride away. There's unlimited self-service drinking water in the lobby. Rooms are cleaned every 3 days. The soundproofing is pretty good, so it's quiet, and the room itself is spacious with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The shower pressure is fantastic! And you can even see N Seoul Tower from the room, how cool is that!

Guest UserI always used to do my 'hotelcation' at Lotte, but this time I stayed at the Grand Hyatt, and it was an excellent choice! 🫶👍 I regret not coming to the Hyatt sooner, honestly. Haha.
True Wellness Point 1: The location and views are perfect for a quiet hotelcation and refreshing stay. 🫶 Even if it costs more, absolutely make sure to book a Namsan view or Han River view room! There's no need to wait in line at crowded cafes or rooftop cafes in the heat; you can relax in your room and fully enjoy a cafe-like atmosphere. If you convert time into money, this is much more reasonable. 🍀 Cafes in the central Hannam-dong area typically charge 5,500 to 7,500 KRW for an iced Americano. Hotel guests can buy an iced Americano from the 1st-floor deli for 6,500 KRW. ❤️
Wellness Point 2: There's a walking path connected to Namsan, so you can take a stroll after breakfast or even walk to Namsan Tower along the trail. ⭐ Truly the best! 🤗 Another great tip 👉 If you exit through the side path in the parking lot to the left of the hotel's main entrance (instead of the main entrance itself), you'll find Korean restaurants, convenience stores, and rooftop cafes. If the breakfast feels a bit too rich, you can easily balance it with some Korean food. ✨ The central commercial area of Hannam-dong, Itaewon, and Haebangchon are all within basic taxi fare distance, which is very convenient. 🫶
Wellness Point 3: If outdoor activities are too difficult in the heat, you can visit the Leeum Museum of Art right in front of the hotel to enjoy an exhibition and find some mental relaxation.
Downsides: If I had to find any, the gym gets crowded. You need to be quick for breakfast. And if you go to the deli shop late in the afternoon, the salads are often sold out.

From the moment I opened the hotel door, I was greeted by a lovely scent that was incredibly soothing. Even though I checked in late at night, the staff handled everything with great care and politeness. I asked the front desk to weigh my suitcase when dropping off luggage before check-in, during check-in, and at check-out. Each time, I was assisted by a different person, but every single one of them was calm, polite, and left a great impression.
The room requires you to take off your shoes, and the ondol (underfloor heating) was subtly warm, making it very relaxing. The Korean-style, tranquil interior of the room was so comfortable that I found myself wanting to linger there.
The only minor downside, which isn't a big deal, is that while there's a bathtub where you also shower, there's no shower curtain. This made it a bit challenging to shower without making a mess, as I had to crouch to avoid splashing water everywhere.
While two subway lines are accessible, which is convenient, both are about a 10-minute walk away.
The adjoining cafe also looked lovely, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit it.
I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again if I have the chance! Highly recommended. Thank you!
This hotel became a place where I could truly relax, and I highly recommend it.

Guest UserTransportation: Two bus lines stop right outside the hotel, one of which is the 6001 airport bus to Seoul Incheon. It's about a dozen stops to Gimpo Airport. While the subway station isn't far, it's quite a walk underground, taking at least 10 minutes to reach the turnstiles.
Cleanliness: If you want your room cleaned, you need to hang the 'make up the room' sign on your door, otherwise, the cleaning staff won't come.
Service: The front desk staff were all very helpful. Breakfast is 1000 Korean Won per person.
Facilities: There's a machine at the front desk where you can buy transportation cards and SIM cards, exchange money, and even process in-hotel tax refunds. Another machine sells disposable toothbrushes, facial cleansers, and other convenient items.
Overall: The hotel facilities are good, but it's a bit of a distance from the subway station. However, it's a good value for the price.

Lai_CruzThe location is fine it is just near covenience store, subway, bus stop. ddp, dundun, is like 8 to 10 minutes walk. The breakfast is so dull for me eating the same thing everyday, limited choices as well. The room wasn't even clean for the first few days we checked-in they just changed the towels no bed fixing, and one day even the trash hadn't been picked up. We even requested for a basic cleaning. No tooth brush tooth paste provided.
